Demon Deviants is a 2009 supernatural post-apocalyptic horror drama television series by Fredball14 and Draft227 The series follows the cruzade and adventures of survivors on the Demon Apocalypse. Originally a group, many fights caused them to split through, and finding more humans who are living in the destruction, in the end, recruiting them for their cause.

Demon Deviants premiered with a pilot (October 31); it was positively received by critics; subsequent episodes has been critically acclaimed as well. The first season of the series is composed of 10 Episodes. Originally considered a cult show, Demon Deviants went to become a pop-culture phenomenon, mainly because of the acting, plot and dealing with themes such as hope, spirituality, science and survival. Both main cast and secondary cast had received acclaim for their performances, with actors like Ethan Hawke, Olivia Wilde, Thomas Jane and Christian Serratos received multiple nominations and awards. The the show is received as "full of character development and eye-popping special effects and action scenes", gaining a total of ten Emmy Awards in it's run. The series has also spawned a series of comicbooks and a videogame set during the events of the series. Based on its reception, HBO renewed the series for a second season of 24 episodes, which premiered on June 6, 2010. Four episodes into the second season, HBO announced that the show would return for a third season of 10 episodes, which began airing on June 5, 2011.

Season 1 (2009)[]

A group of civilians and fighters must survive in a world of demons. As the demons taken over the world for 3 months. They must take down the demons' leader before he destroys the human race.

Main Cast[]

Ethan Hawke as John Mason - He was an author before the apocalypse. He escaped with his 3 sons and became close friends with Lilly and Scott. He is the second-in-command of the civilians and fighters. He believe his wife, Gwen was killed during the demon apocalypse (10 episodes)

Olivia Wilde as Dr. Lilly Harper - She is the only doctor of the group. She cares about her patients alot and does everything she can to help out. She has become a very strong woman after she has lost everyone she ever loved. (9 episodes)

Steven Strait as Cliff Mason- He is John and Gwen's 18 year old son and oldest brother of Derek and Cole. He is one of the fighters for the group and cares deeply about his father and brother. He lost his mother during the apocalypse. He always looks out for his father when they are away from Derek and Cole. He is also Jesse's boyfriend. (10 episodes)

Cameron Bright as Derek Mason- John and Gwen's 16 year old son and brother to Cole and Cliff. Derek develops powers when the demons attempted to make him a demon but only received the powers of mind reading, telepathy, strength, hearing and healing. He got his intelligence from his father and is smarter than Cliff and Cole. He use to have asthma but due to his powers he no longer has asthma. He is a valuable member of the group and often fights along with his father and older brother. (10 episodes)

Dakota Goyo as Cole Mason- John and Gwen's 9 year old son and younger brother to Cliff and Derek. Cole worries for his brothers and father's safety since they are always out fighting demons. He usually stays at the campsite and is babysat by Maria. (9 episodes)

Marie Avgeropoulos as Tara- Tara is one of the fighters for the group. Tara hates the demons and takes her anger out on them. She is very brave, strong and a fighter. She joins the group in the first episode while out on her own when it came down. She was a runaway before the apocalypse and weak. She came back to her foster home to save the children but found them dead. After being alone for 3 months she tried to commit suicide but could not bring herself to do it. After she attempted suicide she became much stronger. (10 episodes)

Thomas Jane as Colonel Scott Wright - Scott is the leader of the group. He was a colonel before the apocalypse and had a daughter and wife. His wife died when the apocalypse started and got separated from his daughter. He became close friends with John and made John his second-in-command. (10 episodes)

Ashley Benson as Jesse- Jesse is one of the fighters for the group and Cliff's girlfriend. Jesse cares a lot about Cliff and doesn't want anything to happen to him. Jesse is a tomboy and enjoys spending time with the guys. (4 episodes)

Christian Serratos as Maria Santos- Maria is Lilly's assistant. Maria cares deeply about Lilly and helps her out with her patients since was trained by Lilly. Maria is religious and prays most of the time. She does not like the thought of demons being on earth and she avoids danger. (9 episodes)

Edwin Hodge as Nate- Nate is one of the fighters for the group. Nate was in the Army for a while until the apocalypse came down. Nate is close friends with John, Scott, Cliff and Nelson. (10 episodes)

Rick Yune as Jin- Jin is one of the fighters for the group. Like Nate, he was in the Army for a while until the apocalypse came down. Jin has a thing for explosives. He is close friends with John, Cliff, Scott and Nate. (9 episodes)

Cody Linley as Shawn- Shawn is the youngest fighter of the group since he is only 14. Shawn disliked Derek at first but started to become friends with him. Shawn lost his parents during the apocalypse and hates demons for killing his parents. (5 episodes)

Denzel Whitaker as Nelson- Nelson is the same age as Shawn. Nelson wants to be a demon and worships them. He usually keeps to himself. (2 episodes)

Lyndsy Fonseca as Dylan Wright- Dylan is Colonel Wright's 16 year old daughter. She was separated from her father when the apocalypse came down but was found by Derek. She then becomes a fighter for the group. (9 episodes)

1. October 31

It starts off with Cole (Dakota Goyo) talking about how he felt about the demon apocalypse to Dr. Harper (Olivia Wilde). He tells her that he is scared that he will lose his father and brothers and hopes that they come back with Derek (Thomas Dekker). It then skips to John (Ethan Hawke) and Cliff (Steven Strait) running from the demons. Most of their group is killed while trying to get Derek. They make it to a lair where Derek is and take him. They then run away with the unconscious Derek. John and Cliff meet up with Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Jesse (Ashley Benson), Jin (Rick Yune), Nate (Edwin Hodge) and Shawn (Cody Linley). Nate decides help Cliff take Derek and lets John rest. John is then attacked by a demon but Cliff shoots it in the head. John thanks Cliff and Colonel Wright tells them they have to move out and they leave.Colonel Wright asks John how many men did they lose and John says that they lost 20 men. They get back to camp and Derek is brought to Lilly and Maria (Christian Serratos). Cole asks John if they will have Halloween since it's tomorrow. John says that they can't have Halloween and Cole asks if it's because the demons. John then says yes and Cole asks if they will ever see mommy again and John replies that he doesn't know. The next day, Derek wakes up and is happily reunited with his family. John asks Derek what he saw and Derek tells them that he saw the demons turning human into one of them. Derek tells John that they only turned him into half demon. John then asks him if he can show them where he saw everything and Derek agrees to show them. John, Derek, Cliff, Jesse, Colonel Wright and Jin leave to go back to the demons' lair. John hears something and a demon captures Jesse. John, Derek, Cliff, Colonel Wright and Jin run after her.They find a house and search it to find Jesse. Derek sees a girl run by them and they check it out. They find nothing but the girl points a gun at them and tells them what they want. John tells her that they're looking for their friend. John asks the girl to put down the gun and she does so. John asks for her name and she reveals her name to be Tara (Marie Avgeropoulos). Tara asks if she can join their group and John and Colonel Wright accept her into the group and they all leave. They get to the lair and they find Jesse on the floor unconscious. Cliff wakes her up and they all leave. A group of demons come in and they chase them. The group run into a room and hide. They then find tons of bodies of kids who are being transformed into demons. John says that they need to get them out of there but Derek says that they are no longer human and they are just plain evil. The demons start to break down the door and the group escape through the window. They get back to camp and Derek goes to the bathroom. Derek starts hearing voices in his head and he screams. The demons then find their location and run to it. The demons enter the building and kill at least 40 people. John, Colonel Wright, Cliff, Jesse, Jin, Nate and Shawn fight off the demons. The demons are lifted up in the air. John around to find Derek is the one lifting the demons. Derek then throws them out of their camp. Derek then collapses onto the floor. Derek then has a dream of a demon telling him to come back and then Derek bursts into flames and starts screaming. Derek wakes up and finds Lilly and John jn the room. John tells Derek that it was just a dream and to go back to sleep. Lilly pulls John outside into the hall and tells him that Derek seems to be developing powers. John tells her that he is only half demon. Lilly says that Derek seems to be getting stronger and learning how to use his powers but can't control them and if he can't control them he will kill everyone in the camp. Lilly asks Maria to check on Derek and Maria finds Derek gone. Derek is walking in the woods and stops when he sees a demon. Derek then says "it's about time you showed up."

2. Light it Up

It starts off with the demon telling Derek (Cameron Bright) that he needs to go with him. Derek tells him that he wants to stay with his family but the demon tells him that if he does not leave with him then his family and friends will be killed by him. Derek then agrees to go as long as he does not kill his family and friends and the demon agrees then leaves. Derek then walks back in and John (Ethan Hawke) asks where he was and Derek tells him he was getting fresh air. John says that he needs to let him know where he is going so he is not worried. Derek apologizes and goes back to bed. Derek closes his room door and packs his clothes. Derek opens the window and jumps out. It then skips to John goes to Derek's room only to find him gone and the window open. John asks Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) if he can come with him to find Derek and Colonel Wright agrees to go. Colonel Wright tells Jin (Rick Yune), Nate (Edwin Hodge), Jesse (Ashley Benson), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) and Tara (Shanley Caswell) to hold down the camp while they're gone to look for Derek. Cliff tells them that he is going but John tells him that he can't come with them and needs him here to defend the camp with the rest of the fighters. Meanwhile, Derek is walking to the demon lair. He then hears footsteps and points his gun. A girl attacks him but realizes he is not a demon. The girl apologizes and he forgives her. He asks the girl what she is doing and she tells him that she is looking for her father. Derek then asks for her name and she says Dylan (Kelsey Sanders). Dylan asks for his name and he responds Derek. She asks Derek where he is going and he tells her that he is going to the demon lair to do something. She asks why he is going and he tells her that he is going there so he can protect his family. She asks to go with him and he lets her come with him. John and Colonel Wright are walking in the woods and see someone running. John thinks it's Derek and runs after him. The boy stops and the boy is revealed to be a demon. A bunch of other demons come out and take John and Colonel Wright. Derek and Dylan are attacked by demons and they manage to kill them all. Dylan is attacked by a demon but Derek kills it. Derek says that they need to keep moving. At camp, Cliff and Tara are on guard watch and Cliff asks about Tara's life before the apocalypse. Tara tells him that she was a foster child but ran away from her foster home all the time. Tara tells him that she was given up and was taken to a foster home. Tara heard about the apocalypse one day and decided to go save the children but it was too late and found them dead. After traveling on the road by herself she gave up on life and wanted to quit and tried to kill herself but couldn't bring herself to do it. After she tried to commit suicide she became brave. She then says that the person she was before was weak and she just feels sorry for her. Demons then attack the camp and they shoot at them. Tara tells Cliff to go warn the others and he leaves. Cliff finds Jin, Jesse, Nate and Shawn (Luke Benward). He tells them that their are demons attacking them. They then run and they start to gather more people to fight back. The fighters then start shooting back at the demons and manage to kill them all. The fighters start cheering but more demons come and the demons kill 20 fighters. Cliff then asks that they need a grenade. Jin gives him a grenade and Cliff throws it at the demons making them explode, killing them. The fighters then start to cheer again and Jesse kisses Cliff making Tara sad. John asks the demons what they want and the demon leader tells them that he wants Derek to join them or his family and friends will die. The demon leader tells John and Colonel Wright that Derek chose to join them since he doesn't want to see his family get killed. Derek tells the demon leader to let John and Colonel Wright go. Dylan then yells to her father Colonel Wright and they both smile. Derek says to the demon leader that he can have him but to let John and Colonel Wright go. The demon leader lets them go and Derek then uses his powers to hurt the demon leader. The demon leader then tells his demons to kill them. John, Colonel Wright and Dylan manage to kill all the demons and the demon leader falls to the ground unconscious. John tells Derek that they have to go but Derek says that they need to blow up the place. Derek, John, Colonel Wright and Dylan throw grenades and the demons' lair blows up. Colonel Wright hugs Dylan and tells her that he missed her so much and she tells him the same thing. John tells Derek not to run off again and hugs him. John, Derek, Colonel Wright and Dylan make it back to camp. Cole and Cliff run out and hugs John and Derek. Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and Maria (Christian Serratos) tell John that Cliff was really good and Lilly asks John if everything is okay and he says yes. Lilly tells him that she thinks something is wrong with Derek. She saw his eyes turned to white and his veins started to turn black. Lilly says that he might be turning into something worse than she can imagine and John says that he'll find out what's going on. Lilly sees Derek staring at her and she leaves.

3. Bites the Dust

Lilly (Olivia Wilde) is reading a book and hears footsteps outside and she grabs a flashlight to go check. Lilly looks around and finds nothing. She is about to leave but a blood drop falls on her. She looks up to find 3 people torn apart in the trees and screams. John (Ethan Hawke), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Nate (Edwin Hodge) and Jin (Rick Tune) investigate the bodies. John realizes that there are stab wounds on their sides and says that they have a traitor in their group. Colonel Wright says that the person who did this was smart and quick enough to do the job. Colonel Wright then tells Nate, Cliff and Jin to round up everybody and see who is a suspect. Lilly pulls John aside and tells him that she thinks it's Derek but he tells her that Derek is a good soldier and saved him and Colonel Wright then leaves. Colonel Wright tells John that they have 3 suspects Maria (Christian Serratos), Tara (Shanley Caswell) and Nelson (Connor Cruise). John says that it can't be Maria since she is religious but Colonel Wright says that everyone can be a suspect. Shawn (Luke Benward) asks Colonel Wright if they are going out today and Colonel Wright tells him that he will be with Derek (Cameron Bright). Shawn gets angry and leaves with Derek. John and Colonel Wright leave with Cliff, Derek, Shawn, Tara, Jin, Nate and Dylan (Kelsey Sanders). Demons come near their hiding spot and they start firing at the demons. The demon leader then reveals himself as Torchius. Torchius then tells them that there is someone in the group who they trust is setting them up and Torchius sends his demons to tear the soldiers open. 10 soldiers are killed while the rest kill the demons. John finds Torchius gone and says that he will find whoever is doing this and they will feel sorry they betrayed them. John then goes to Tara, Maria and Nelson's cells and asks them if one of them is involved. Tara and Maria deny it and Nelson tells him that the demons will kill them all. Colonel Wright comes down with 3 more suspects and the lights go out. They hear demon growls and people screaming. The lights turn back on to reveal the 3 suspects dead. John and Colonel Wright then hear screaming and run upstairs to find a demon attacking Jesse (Ashley Benson) and it is killed by Lilly. Colonel Wright tells Lilly to check Jesse and she takes Jesse to her office. Lilly checks her and says that she doesn't see any cuts. Lilly then realizes that Jesse is the traitor and tries to leave but Jesse hits her in the back of the head with her gun, knocking her unconscious. Jesse then grabs her and takes her away. John opens the door to find Lilly and Jesse gone. John rushes to Colonel Wright and tells him that Jesse is the traitor. John, Colonel Wright, Derek, Cliff, Dylan, Shawn, Nate and Jin finds Jesse about to give Lilly to Torchius but he disappears when he sees the fighters. Jesse points her gun at Lilly's head and tells them to leave her alone. Cliff tries to talk her out of it but she is about to pull the trigger until Derek shoots Jesse in her shoulder. John apologizes to Tara and Maria and they accept. He is about to apologize to Nelson but Nelson tells him that they will come back. Lilly sees Derek and apologizes to him for being a bitch and he laughs but still accepts. John then tells Lilly that she is glad she finally sees the good in Derek and she laughs. John asks her to watch Cole while he is gone on a scout mission and she agrees to watch him. Two people are watching and one of them asks if they will get some of them and the other guy says they will and to warn the others.

4. Cult

John (Ethan Hawke), Derek (Cameron Bright), Jin (Rick Yune), Nate (Edwin Hodge), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) and Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) are hunting and hear noises. Derek tells John that someone is watching them and they are all knocked unconscious. A group of people then drag their bodies and put them in their truck. They all wake up and notice they are tied up. Damien (Christopher Eccleston) then welcomes them and introduces himself. John asks why he captured them and Damien tells him that he did it because he wants to make a sacrifice with the demons. John tells him that he has to let them go so they can go back to their people but Damien tells him that he doesn't want to hurt anybody and just wants to live. John tells him that giving people to the demons is killing them and that the blood is on his hands. Damien smacks him and tells him to shut up. Damien tells two men to untie Dylan. Dylan gets scared and kicks the two men in the balls and Damien smacks her then unties her. He commands her to kneel or he will hit her again and she does what he says. Damien then grabs a baseball bat and asks John to follow what he says or he will kill her and John agrees to do what he says but doesn't want her to get hurt and Damien tells him she will die either way. Damien then leaves the room with his men to go eat and John then unties himself but Damien knocks him unconscious with his gun. Cliff tells Damien that he will never get away with this and he smiles. Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) asks Cole (Dakota Goyo) and Tara (Shanley Caswell) if John's group came back and they say no. Shawn (Luke Benward) tells Colonel Wright that one of the fighters said that they saw John's group get captured and tells Shawn and Tara to get as many fighters as they can. Cole tells Colonel Wright to bring them back alive and Colonel Wright promises to do it. Damien then asks John if he will he choose someone to die and he says no. Damien punches him and says that he will do it. He then picks Cliff and tells his men to untie him but John volunteers to be it just as long as he lets them go. Damien then tells his men to untie John and Derek says that the demons will kill him too once he has no one to sacrifice. Damien then tells him that he will get more but Dylan says that they will tear him apart no matter what happens. Demons then start to appear and the demon leader Torchius (Doug Jones) shows up last. Torchius asks if this is all he got for them and he says yes. Torchius recognizes them and smiles, he then says that he always wanted to kill them. Colonel Wright and his team are walking and Shawn says that he feels bad because he thought Derek was a bad guy but realizes he is not. Colonel Wright then says that he shouldn't judge Derek for what he is and that just cause he is half demon does not mean that he will kill everyone. Shawn then says that he hopes that they're all okay and that he will be with his family one day. Colonel Wright's team finds their location and sees two demons guarding the door. Colonel Wright and Shawn stab both demons, killing them. Colonel Wright and his team enter the building and find John's group.Torchius is about to kill John but Colonel Wright shoots him in the shoulder, injuring him. Colonel Wright, Shawn, Tara and the rest of the fighters start shooting the demons and Damien's group, killing them. Shawn then cuts Derek loose and gives him a gun and they both start killing the demons together. Derek and Shawn then cut Dylan, Cliff, Nate and Jin loose. Torchius then leaves with his demons and Damien and his three members are the last ones standing. Damien says that they should let them go but John says that he would've died no matter what happened and then shoots him in the head. Tara, Colonel Wright and Cliff shoot the three men and they all leave. They get back to camp and are welcomed back. Derek and Shawn are walking and Shawn apologizes to Derek for being mean to him and he accepts. He tells Derek that he thought he was different and was going to kill them but now he sees that he is a good person trying to help everyone else. Shawn then starts to have a seizure and Derek yells for help. John and Colonel Wright hear this and 3 other people faint and have fevers. John then says to get Lilly and runs to Shawn.

5. Plague

It starts off with Lilly (Olivia Wilde) telling John (Ethan Hawke) and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) that she doesn't know what caused this to happen since it's not the flu. She says that most of the patients are bleeding from places they shouldn't even bleed from. Nelson (Connor Cruise) then collapses and stops breathing. Lilly does CPR on him and tries to bring him back but says he's dead. John says that he will go find some medication to help the patients and tells Lilly to write a list of what she needs. Colonel Wright says that he is going with him and that they will bring Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Derek (Cameron Bright) and Jin (Rick Yune) with them. Lilly then says that she needs help and a patients has his back snapped, killing him instantly. John is furious and leaves with Colonel Wright, Derek, Tara and Jin. Derek tells John that Torchius (Doug Jones) is doing this because Derek did not go with them. John tells Derek that it's not his fault but Derek says that he should have gone with him. Dylan tells Colonel Wright that she's scared of what will happen to them and Colonel Wright tells her that they will be fine like they always are and tells her that she has to believe they will be fine and they both smile. John's group then finds Torchius' home and sees three guards at the front entrance. John then goes up to the guards and says they need to speak with Torchius. Lilly is checking on her patient and he coughs up blood. Lilly leaves and Cole (Dakota Goyo) tells her he doesn't feel good. Lilly then walks to a room and breaks down and cries. Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) hears coughing and it is coming from Tara (Shanley Caswell). Cliff says that she needs to go see Lilly and she walks out of the room to go to Lilly's. Jesse (Ashley Benson) points her gun at Tara and Jesse is sweating from being sick. Tara tells Jesse to put her gun down and comes closer to Jesse. Jesse tells her that she wanted to kill them all so she can be free and Tara gets angry and tackles her, knocking her gun out of her hand. Jesse and Tara start to fight and Jesse starts to strangle Tara but Tara stabs Jesse in her side and throws Jesse off of her. Tara tries to go for the gun but Jesse is quick enough to grab it. Jesse is about to shoot but Cliff shoots her in the back, killing her. Tara thanks Cliff and Cliff grabs Jesse's body and buries her. The guards still won't let them in and Derek levitate the two guards and impales them on a pole. John, Derek, Dylan, Colonel Wright and Jin enter Torchius' home and Torchius says to them that he knew they were going to come here and smiles. It then goes back to Lilly and she hears someone screaming. She finds that one of her patients is up in the air and she has her bones broken. Lilly then goes closer to the presumed dead girl and she attacks Lilly. Lilly screams for help and throws her off of her. Lilly crawls away from her and the girl is about to attack her again but Cliff and Nate (Edwin Hodge) shoot the possessed girl in the chest and head. Maria, Tara and Cole then come to Lilly and tell her that Shawn (Luke Benward) wants to see her. They all go to Shawn and he tells them that he thinks he will die. Lilly tells him that he is not going to die and he tells her that if he does could he tell everyone who left that he will miss them. Lilly agrees to do so and Shawn tells her that he will see his parents again and will be happy with them then he smiles. Shawn then starts to have a seizure and dies. They all start to feel sad and cry for Shawn's death and Lilly says that she shouldn't even be a doctor if she can't save them. It then goes back to John and he tells Torchius if they could make a deal and that Torchius could make the deal. Torchius says that he will stop killing their people if he can have Derek. John disagrees but Derek says that he will do it. John tells him that he can't leave them but Derek says that he will be fine and John trusts him. John and Derek then hug and he says goodbye to everyone but Dylan hugs Derek and says goodbye. Torchius then welcomes Derek to the family and Colonel Wright asks what they're going to do now. John says that they will get Derek back and that means even if they have to fight their way through those demons.

6. Choice

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Tara (Shanley Caswell), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Nate (Edwin Hodge) and Jin (Rick Yune) are loading their guns. Lilly (Olivia Wilde) then tells John that she wants to go with them but he tells her that she their are people here that need her help and that Nate and Jin will be here to watch over the camp. Lilly then walks away and they leave. It then skips to Derek (Cameron Bright) who is learning how to control his powers by Torchius and says that his dad will come back for him and that he will kill Torchius. Torchius then chuckles and smacks Derek across his face. Lilly is thinking in her room and walks outside her room to Cole (Dakota Goyo) and Maria (Christian Serratos). She asks Maria to watch Cole while she is gone and she agrees. Lilly then takes a truck and a map to their location. John, Colonel Wright, Dylan, Cliff and Tara are driving to Torchius' home. While driving, Demons start going on the car which causes them to crash into a tree. John and the others start shooting at the demons, killing them. John says that they have to keep moving but Colonel Wright says they're running low on ammo and John opens the car trunk and it reveals several melee weapons. John then asks Colonel Wright if that's good enough for him and Colonel Wright smiles and says "lets roll". Torchius then tells Derek that his father and brother are coming for him and Derek then says that he told him that he would come for him. Torchius then gets angry and punches him in the face. John and Colonel Wright then slash the two demon guards' faces and they enter the building. John sees Torchius with his hand on Derek's shoulder. John tells Torchius that he will take Derek and they'll leave him alone. Torchius says that he won't ever leave them alone and will keep killing them all until they're all dead. Torchius then stabs Derek through his chest with his clawed hand and John and his group are saddened. They then start slashing at Torchius and his demons, killing some demons and injuring most of them. John then stabs Torchius several times and goes to Derek's dead body. John and the others start crying and John notices that Derek is healing and Derek then opens his eyes. John and the others happily reunite with him and they leave together. The remaining demons then go after them and they run. Lilly then drives up and tells them to get in. A demon attacks John and Lilly kills it by stabbing it in the head. They arrive back to camp and John welcomes Derek home. Cole runs out and hugs Derek. It then skips to Lilly learning how to shoot by John. After several tries she makes her shot and thanks John. She then keeps shooting and keeps making it. John and Lilly then smile at each other and he thanks her for saving them and him. She says it's no problem and they kiss for the first time and they leave to go inside. It then skips to Torchius' body who is surrounded by his demons and he starts healing, he then opens his eyes and says "kill them all".

7. Mind Control

It starts off with Torchius chanting a spell on the Demon Resistance and manages to get into Nate's (Edwin Hodge) mind and tells him to kill. Nate sneaks into a male survivor's room and slits his throat. Torchius then tells him to bury the body and go back to bed. Nate then buries the body and goes back to bed. Torchius then tells him to wake up and Nate screams. Lilly (Olivia Wilde) asks Nate if he can tell her what happened and he says that he doesn't remember. John (Ethan Hawke) tells him that one of the survivors are missing and asks Nate if he knows what happened to them but Nate says he doesn't know anything. Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) asks John if he found out anything but John says no and Tara (Shanley Caswell), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Derek (Cameron Bright) and Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) tell John and Colonel Wright that they found the male survivor's dead body and they investigate it. Colonel Wright says that whoever did this decided to slit their throat while they were sleeping. John tells Tara to go inside and see if she can find anything out. Tara then sees Maria (Christian Serratos) about to stab a woman but Tara tackles her and Maria snaps out of it and asks what happened. John, Colonel Wright and Lilly are trying to figure out why they don't remember anything and John asks Lilly to bring in Derek. Derek comes in the room and John asks Derek if a demon can make humans kill people. Derek tells him only a demon leader can do that and John says that Torchius is still alive. John, Derek, Colonel Wright, Tara and Dylan are preparing to leave but Torchius commands Cliff to snap Derek's arm and he does so. Lilly then checks Derek but Derek says he'll heal soon but John says that he won't go without him and they stay there. A woman attacks John but Tara shoots her in the back, killing her. Tara then snaps out of it and asks what happened. John then asks Derek if he can find Torchius and he says that since he is connected to him then he will be able to find him and John, Derek, Dylan and Colonel Wright go to find Torchius. It then shows Cliff and Tara on the roof and Cliff tells her that he feels bad for what he did to Derek. Tara says that he already apologized but Cliff says that he wants to shoot Torchius in the face and Tara says we all do then they both laugh. Tara asks Cliff if he misses Jesse and he says not anymore because of what she did. Cliff then tells her that she was a good person and then she turned into something awful and was only using them. Tara then says that she doesn't feel bad for stabbing her anymore and they laugh a little bit. They both look at each other and Tara kisses him, which surprises Cliff. They then stop and Cliff kisses her back and they smile. Lilly then sees a man standing and Cole (Dakota Goyo) comes out. Cole asks where his dad is and Lilly tells him to leave and get Cliff and Tara. The man runs at her and she fights with the man. Lilly then hits him over the head with a bottle and he drops her. She then gets her gun and points at the man. She tells him to get away but he runs at her and she shoots him in the head. John, Dylan, Derek and Colonel Wright are attacked by demons and they run inside a house. The demons try to get in but John, Colonel Wright, Derek and Dylan are against the door. John tells Derek, Dylan and Colonel Wright to leave and he'll be with them after he kills them. They escape and John lets the demons inside. John then throws a grenade on the floor and jumps out the window. The demons then have their insides blown out and John, Colonel Wright, Derek and Dylan then leave. They then make it to Torchius' home but find him gone and it shows Torchius looking at their camp. Torchius then tells his demons to bring out the girl and they do as he says while he smiles.

8. Demon Child

It starts off with John and his group coming back from Torchius' (Doug Jones) home and John says that they will kill him next time. Derek (Cameron Bright) says the next time he sees Torchius that he will help kill him and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) says we all will. John then sees a little girl (Mackenzie Foy) on the ground and rushes to her. John feels for her pulse and tells them that she's alive. John then carries her to Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and Maria (Christian Serratos) and Lilly asks what happened. John tells her that he found her lying on the ground outside and brought her in here because she would be safe. Lilly then tells John to leave so she can concentrate on stitching her cuts and he leaves. Moments later, the little girl wakes up and she asks Lilly what happened. Lilly tells her that they found her outside lying on the ground and says that she is safe here. Maria comes in and sees that the little girl is awake. Maria pulls Lilly aside and whispers that she doesn't feel safe around her. Lilly tells her that she is just a little girl but Maria says that she knows what evil looks like and believes that the little girl is evil. Lilly then tells her that everything will be fine and goes back to the little girl. Lilly asks the little girl for her name and she says April. John and Colonel Wright asks Lilly if she's okay and Lilly tells them that she is fine and her name is April. Colonel Wright tells April that Lilly is going to watch her while they're gone and April says that she wants to go home but John says that she'll be safe here. John, Derek, Colonel Wright, Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) and Tara (Shanley Caswell) then pack and go find Torchius. Maria tells John that she doesn't feel safe with April around and John says that everything will be fine. Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) tells Tara to be safe out there and Tara says that she can protect herself but Cliff says that she should still be careful and they kiss. John and his group then leave and John asks Derek if he found Torchius' sense but Derek says that Torchius is 3 miles away from where they're at and John says that they will get there soon. Lilly then goes to check on April but sees Cole (Dakota Goyo) playing with her and then leaves them alone. Maria tells Lilly that she has to watch out for April so she doesn't hurt anyone else and Lilly says that April is not evil. April asks Cole if he thinks she is evil and he says no. April says that he should and that she's going to kill everyone. Her eyes turn red and she attacks Cole. John and his group then reach Torchius and he welcomes them. John then says "we came to kill you" and Torchius laughs. Torchius says to them that they can waste their time killing him or they can save their friends. John asks why and Torchius says that April isn't human and that she's a demon who loves to kill. John and his group then run to their truck and drive away. Maria comes into her room and sees April sitting on the floor playing with her toys and tells Maria that she was right about her. April turns around with red eyes and her mouth stitched up and Maria screams. John and his group get back to camp and John asks Nate (Edwin Hodge) and Jin (Rick Yune) if they saw April. Nate and Jin tell him that she is playing with Cole and he rushes to Cole. John opens the room April was in and finds Cole laying on the ground. Lilly and Cliff asks what happened and John tells them that April is a demon who wants to kill them. Lilly then says that Maria knew she was evil and they run to Maria's room. Maria is sitting against the walls and says that she looked into her eyes and saw darkness. Derek then calls John's name and John asks what happened. John sees April at the end of the hall and she laughs. April then says that she just wants to play and starts killing 40 fighters and 20 civilians. John, Derek, Dylan, Cliff, Colonel Wright and Tara then corner April and she attacks Dylan. John, Derek and Colonel Wright then throw April off of Dylan and April gets up. April runs at John and Derek shoots her in the head, killing her. Derek then carries April's body out and smiles. Torchius and his demons come out of the woods and they all growl.

9. Fight till the End Part 1

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke), Derek (Cameron Bright), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Tara (Shanley Caswell), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) and Nate (Edwin Hodge) walk up to Torchius (Doug Jones) and John says if they can make a deal. Torchius asks what he wants and John says if he leaves them alone he can give him one human a day. Torchius says that they have a deal and John and his group walk away. Derek then asks if he will actually give them one of his own and John says no. Torchius then tells his army of demons that they will be going to war and will defeat the Demon Resistance. Torchius then smiles and tells them to bring out Abaddon. John tells Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and Maria (Christian Serratos) that they will attack the demons and Lilly says that she will help them but John says he wants her to protect Cole (Dakota Goyo) and Maria while they're out there fighting and to kill any demons that try to harm her, Maria and Cole. John asks her if she has her gun and she shows him her gun and hunting knife. Cliff then runs to the others and says "we have company". John, Colonel Wright and the rest of the fighters then go out and Torchius tells them that he changed his mind. Torchius then smiles and says that he wants them dead. John says that they can take him and Torchius says that he's not fighting them and that Abaddon is fighting them. John then hears gigantic footsteps and sees the gigantic Abaddon. John and the fighters start shooting at the gigantic demon but Abaddon crushes 90 fighters and John, Colonel Wright and the others run back inside. Abaddon then rips the rooftop off and grabs 10 people and crushes them in his hand. John, Tara, Colonel Wright, Dylan, Derek, Cliff, Nate and Jin then run away from Abaddon. John yells for the civilians to move away from the doors and windows. Abaddon then punches the wall and grabs 26 people and crushes them. John then says that they have to go get Lilly, Cole and Maria and they all run. Lilly, Cole and Maria are hiding and Cole asks if they're going to die. Maria tells him that he has to believe that he will be safe and be strong for everyone. Abaddon then punches the wall and grabs Maria. Lilly then shoots his hand and he drops Maria then picks up Lilly. John, Tara, Colonel Wright, Derek, Dylan, Cliff, Jin and Nate start shooting Abaddon and injures him causing him to drop Lilly. Lilly asks if they have a plan and Derek says he has one plan and it should work. Tara then goes out and calls Abaddon's name. Abaddon comes closer to Tara and she slashes his stomach. John, Derek, Colonel Wright, Cliff, Dylan, Jin and Nate start slashing at Abaddon. Abaddon falls on his knees when Derek slashed his leg and Abaddon is then decapitated by John. Abaddon's body and head fall to the ground and John sees Torchius. John tells Torchius that they will take everyone of his demons out and Torchius smiles. Torchius and his demons run at the Demon Resistance and John, Derek, Colonel Wright, Cliff, Tara, Dylan, Nate and Jin then run at the demons as well.

10. Fight till the End Part 2

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke), Derek (Cameron Bright), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Tara (Shanley Caswell), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Nate (Edwin Hodge) and Jin (Rick Yune) fighting off the demons. John says that someone has to get up to the top floor and shoot the demons from there and Tara volunteers then leaves. Once, she gets up there she shoots down 75 demons, killing them. Torchius sees her and attacks John. John throws him off and Torchius flies up to where Tara is and knocks her unconscious. Torchius summons his demons to get inside and John and the rest of the fighters run inside to protect the others. The demons then manages to kill 20 fighters and 74 civilians. Lilly (Olivia Wilde), Cole (Dakota Goyo) and Maria (Christian Serratos) are hiding but a demon gets through and Lilly manages to shoot it in the head, killing it. A demon then attacks Lilly, knocking her gun out, and is about to kill her but somebody shoots it in the head and it is revealed to be Cole. Lilly tells them that they have to go and she, Maria and Cole leave. A demon runs at them and they run and hide in a room, which Maria, Cole and Lilly push against the door so the demon doesn't get in. It then goes back to John killing 6 demons and warns the others to start fighting. 60 civilians are then killed by the demons and the fighters start killing the demons. Nate then manages to kill 14 demons but is then stabbed in the back by Torchius' clawed hand and he throws Nate to the wall. Jin then goes after Nate and comforts him. Nate says that he always thought Jin was a brother to him and they both smile. Nate tells Jin to go help the others escape and he leaves. John charges at Torchius but Torchius punches him and throws him to the wall, knocking him unconscious. Dylan stabs a demon several times in the face and is picked up by another demon. Derek then sees this and runs at the demon. Derek and the demon start fighting and Derek manages to shoot the demon in the head twice, killing it. Lilly, Cole and Maria are hiding in a closet and Lilly says that she is going to distract the demon while they hide in the closet. Cole begs her not to go and she hugs him and Maria, then gets out. Lilly shouts at the demon and she runs while the demon chases her. Tara wakes up and sees a demon standing over her. She grabs her gun and shoots it in the head. Another demon comes through the window and stabs it in the throat, killing it. Tara then runs out the door and goes to look for others. It then goes to Maria and Cole and Maria says to Cole that she is going to go find Lilly. Cole tells her not to leave and Maria says that he will be fine and has to believe that everything will be okay. Maria then hugs Cole and leaves the closet. Torchius then runs away but Derek and Dylan chase after him. Derek then shouts for Torchius and Torchius smiles. Derek then lifts him up in the air and looks at Torchius angrily. Torchius says to Derek that he will be just like him someday and Derek starts choking him to death and says he will never be like him. Derek then drops Torchius' dead body to the ground and the building starts coming down. Derek and Dylan then decide to escape and run out of the building. Lilly is then cornered by the demons and Nate shouts for the demons. Nate tells Lilly to go, which she does and he blows himself up with the demons. Maria is then attacked by a demon and is about to kill her but Tara shoots the demon 2 times in the chest and once in the head. Tara says that they have to go or else they die and they escape together. Cliff and the rest of the fighters and civilians then find Lilly and Lilly asks Cliff where everyone else is. Cliff says that he doesn't know but they have to leave before they die and they all escape together. Cole gets out and sees a demon who is about to attack him but Jin shoots it several times, killing it. Jin then tells Cole that they have to go now and they leave the building. Colonel Wright is looking for John and sees him on the floor. Colonel Wright wakes him up and John asks what happened. Colonel Wright says that they won and need to go before the building collapses on top of them. They then leave the building and look at it as their home comes down. Colonel Wright says that they have to go now and they leave into the unknown.

Season 2 (2010-2011)[]

As the group is split from each other, they must find a way to deal with the loss of their home. Some people are seeking to reunite and others believe that there is no hope. They must become stronger and build up in this new world if they want to live.

Ethan Hawke as John Mason- He was an author before the apocalypse. He escaped with his 3 sons and became close friends with Lilly and Scott. He is the second-in-command of the civilians and fighters. He believe his wife, Gwen was killed during the demon apocalypse. He is with Colonel Wright after their home was destroyed and is now looking for the others but more importantly his sons. Olivia Wilde as Dr. Lilly Harper- She is the only doctor of the group. She cares about her patients alot and does everything she can to help out. She has become a very strong woman after she has lost everyone she ever loved. She becomes the leader of the fighters and civilians along with Cliff. (11 episodes)

Steven Strait as Cliff Mason- He is John and Gwen's 18 year old son and oldest brother of Derek and Cole. He is one of the fighters for the group and cares deeply about his father and brother. He lost his mother during the apocalypse. He always looks out for his father when they are away from Derek and Cole. He is now second-in command of the group of civilians and fighters after their home was destroyed. (12 episodes)

Cameron Bright as Derek Mason- John and Gwen's 16 year old son and brother to Cole and Cliff. Derek develops powers when the demons attempted to make him a demon but only received the powers of mind reading, telepathy, strength, hearing and healing. He got his intelligence from his father and is smarter than Cliff and Cole. He use to have asthma but due to his powers he no longer has asthma. He is a valuable member of the group and often fights along with his father and older brother. He is with Dylan after they were separated from everyone else when their home was destroyed. He starts to have feelings for Dylan. (13 episodes)
Dakota Goyoas Cole Mason- John and Gwen's 9 year old son and younger brother to Cliff and Derek. Cole worries for his brothers and father's safety since they are always out fighting demons. He usually stays at the campsite and is babysat by Maria. He is with Jin after they were separated from everyone and their home was destroyed. Cole doesn't believe that everyone is alive. Marie Avgeropoulos as Tara- Tara is one of the fighters for the group. Tara hates the demons and takes her anger out on them. She is very brave, strong and a fighter. She joins the group in the first episode while out on her own when it came down. She was a runaway before the apocalypse and weak. She came back to her foster home to save the children but found them dead. After being alone for 3 months she tried to commit suicide but could not bring herself to do it. After she attempted suicide she became much stronger. She is with Maria after they were separated from everyone and their home was destroyed. She is teaching Maria how to defend herself. Lyndsy Fonseca as Dylan Wright- Dylan is Colonel Wright's 16 year old daughter. She was separated from her father when the apocalypse came down but was found by Derek. She then becomes a fighter for the group. She is with Derek after they were separated from everyone and their home was destroyed. She starts to have feelings for Derek. (12 episodes)

Christian Serratos as Maria Santos- Maria is Lilly's assistant. Maria cares deeply about Lilly and helps her out with her patients since was trained by Lilly. Maria is religious and prays most of the time. She does not like the thought of demons being on earth and she avoids danger. Thomas Jane as Colonel Scott Wright- Scott is the leader of the group. He was a colonel before the apocalypse and had a daughter and wife. His wife died when the apocalypse started and got separated from his daughter. He became close friends with John and made John his second-in-command. 1. Road to Nowhere

It starts off with Valcon (Ron Perlman) telling his army of demons that Torchius (Doug Jones) was killed and he will avenge his death. Valcon then says he will kill every last one of the Demon Resistance and will watch them suffer. He then tells them that he knows exactly where everyone is and has them in his hands. It then shows John (Ethan Hawke) and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) running from 4 demons and they make it to their camp. The 4 demons run to their camp only to be decapitated by barbed wire. John tells Colonel Wright that putting the barbed wire was a smart idea and they both laugh. John then says that they have to go find everyone and they grab their stuff and leave. John then says to Colonel Wright that he wonders who is leading the Demon Resistance right now and they keep walking. It then shows Lilly (Olivia Wilde), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) and the rest of the civilians and fighters hiding in a bush from the demons. Lilly tells Cliff that he should stay here while she kills them and she leaves. Lilly then shoots 3 demons in the head, slashes 5 demons in the face and decapitates the last one. Lilly says that they need to keep moving but Cliff says that they haven't rest since their home was destroyed and Lilly says that she doesn't want to lose another person she loves. Lilly says either they rest and die or they keep looking for their group and they all start grabbing their stuff. Lilly then feels dizzy and Cliff asks if he is okay and she says she is fine. Lilly tells him that they need to keep moving and she faints to the ground, Cliff and the others run to her aid. It then skips to Maria (Christian Serratos) sitting in the woods and Tara (Shanley Caswell) comes out of the woods and tells her to get up. Maria asks where they're going and she says she is going to teach Maria how to use weapons. Maria says she is afraid to hold any weapon and Tara tells her that she needs to learn how to defend herself because everyone won't be there to save her. Maria then gets up and Tara gives her a knife and a sniper. Tara then tells Maria to shoot for the bird and Maria focuses then shoots it and her and Tara smile. Maria then thanks Tara and Tara says she needs more practice. Tara and Maria then hear footsteps and Tara gets out her knife. A demon then comes out of the woods and attacks Tara. It throws Tara to a tree and Maria stabs the demon several times. A boy (Jeremy Sumpter) comes out of the woods and asks Maria for her name. They exchange their names and it is revealed his name is Joe. They both rush to Tara and he carries her. Jin (Rick Yune) and Cole (Dakota Goyo) are on the road and Jin asks Cole if he is hungry but he declines. Jin tells Cole that they will find everyone but Cole says that he doesn't believe that and Jim says that he has to believe for his family. Cole says to Jin "you're the only family I have left." Jin tells Cole that he needs to believe everyone is alive and demons run after them. Jin and Cole then start running and they shoot 2 demons. They run out of bullets and keep running. Cole trips over a dead body and the demons try to attack him but 3 people shoot the 3 demons, killing them. They introduce themselves Wayne (Luke Evans), Trish (Amber Stevens) and Paul (Logan Lerman) and they start walking down the road. Derek (Cameron Bright) and Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) are fighting off demons and they manage to kill them all. Derek says that they have to keep moving but Dylan says that they need to find a safe place. Derek says "that's why we're going to the town that they found on a supply run last." Dylan asks how far is it and he says it's only a mile away from where they're at. Derek and Dylan find the town and Derek tells her to take out her weapon and they both do. Derek says he doesn't see anybody here and they lower their weapons. Dylan is attacked by a demon and Derek shoots it in the head twice. Dylan thanks him for saving her a lot and they both smile. Derek says that they need to find a place to stay and they find one but a Demon attacks Derek and Dylan shoots it in the head. Derek thanks her and she accepts. They are about to kiss but they hear footsteps and it is revealed to be two teens named Peter (Atticus Mitchell) and Madison (Danielle Chuchran). It then goes back to Valcon who tells his demons that soon it will be time to kill the Demon Resistance and he smiles.

2. Keep on Moving

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke) and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) in the woods eating canned food. Colonel Wright asks John if he thinks Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) is alive and John tells him that he believes Dylan is alive and is safe. John tells Colonel Wright that Dylan can take care of herself and is a fighter which makes Colonel Wright smile. Colonel Wright says he misses his wife and wishes he can see her. John tells him that he misses Gwen everyday and wishes that he was there for her. John and Colonel Wright hear footsteps and point their guns. It is revealed to be two women (Jennifer Connelly and Olivia Munn). The two women reveal their names to be Kathy and Grace Wilson and they ask John and Colonel Wright if they can join them. John, Colonel Wright, Kathy and Grace are walking and they hear something. A demon jumps out and attacks Kathy. Colonel Wright then manages to shoot the demon in the back of the head, killing it. Colonel Wright asks Kathy if she is okay and she nods her head. Kathy thanks him and he smiles. At night, John, Grace, Kathy and Colonel Wright are eating and Grace asks if they were by themselves the whole time. John says that they had a very large group but demons attacked their camp and killed most of their group but some of them escaped. Kathy and Grace apologizes for their loss and they accept. Colonel Wright asks Kathy and Grace what their story is all about and Kathy says that she was a teacher and Grace was a vet. Grace says when the apocalypse started her and Kathy escaped together and were on the road ever since it all happened. John asks if they had any family but Kathy says that they both lost their parents and that their parents were both an only child. They then hear something moving but it was only a squirrel and they start laughing. They then decide to sleep and a person is watching them and they leave. John, Kathy, Colonel Wright and Grace are walking in the woods and find a cabin. John, Colonel Wright, Kathy and Grace enter the cabin and John then hears something but goes inside. It is then revealed that a demon is watching them. Night time comes and Kathy goes outside and Colonel Wright asks her if she is okay. Kathy says that she is scared that something bad will happen to her and Colonel Wright says she should be scared but that she shouldn't let it get to her. Kathy asks how he does it and he says that he tries not to think about it. Kathy then hugs him and he goes back inside. Kathy then sees 22 demons and they come after her. Kathy runs back in the cabin and tells the others. John, Grace and Colonel Wright grab their guns and start shooting the demons, killing them. 10 demons then come out of the woods and John, Colonel Wright and Grace then run out of ammo. John, Colonel Wright and Grace then use their hunting knives to kill the demons. The last demon attacks Kathy but Colonel Wright stabs it in the neck, killing it. The next day, Colonel Wright walks up to Kathy and asks her if she is okay. Kathy thanks him for saving her yesterday and he says no problem. Kathy says that she doesn't know how to use weapons and Colonel Wright says he wants to teach her something. It then skips to Colonel Wright teaching Kathy how to shoot and she makes every shot. Kathy thanks him and they look at each other for a moment. Colonel Wright says to keep shooting and she makes every shot while John and Grace watch them.

3. Not Alone

It starts off with Tara (Shanley Caswell) waking up from being attacked by a demon earlier and she looks around the room. Maria (Christian Serratos) and Joe (Jeremy Sumpter) then enter the room and asks if she is okay. Tara asks Maria and Joe where they are at and Joe says that they're in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Tara asks if it's safe here and Joe says that the whole city is abandoned. Tara asks Joe and Maria if they have any food and Joe says that the city has a lot of food. Tara, Joe and Maria are looking for food and Tara points her gun saying she hears someone. Maria says that nobody is in the city besides them and Tara puts her gun down. They walk inside a supermarket and a person is staring at them from the window. Tara, Maria and Joe then come out with a shopping cart full of food and they hear glass breaking. Tara, Maria and Joe put their guns up and they wait. They then put their guns down and walk away. A man (Elijah Wood) then peeks at them from a corner and he leaves. Tara then sees a demon and gets her knife out but Maria stops her and says she will do it. Maria grabs her knife and stabs the demon in it's neck, killing it. Tara sees someone's shadow and runs after them. Maria and Joe chase after Tara and they find Tara gone. It then skips to the man carrying Tara and he ties her to a chair. Tara says her friends will find her and they will kill them. The man says that they won't do shit and smiles at her. The man tells her that he just wants to be friends and laughs. Tara says to him that once she gets out she will leave and the man says she will never get out. Maria and Joe are looking for Tara and Joe asks Maria if she thinks they will find Tara. Maria says that she believes that they will find Tara and they will keep moving on. Joe asks Maria what she will do if the man won't let Tara go and Maria says she will kill him herself. Joe asks what happened to the girl she said she was when she told him and she says "In this world, people are going to change everyday. The religious girl still exists, but it's time for me to become something more than some religious girl. I want to be tough, not be afraid. That's the girl I am now and I'm proud that I finally changed." Joe says that he use to be weak and now he finally changed. Maria smiles and says that he reminds her of her ex-boyfriend and he use to be a great guy. Joe and Maria smile at each other and Joe says they should keep going. The man then says that her friends won't save her and Tara decides to scream for help. Maria and Joe hear this and they run to the screaming. The man gets up and slaps Tara across her face to shut her up. Maria and Joe find where the screaming came from and it's from the hospital. Maria and Joe run inside and find Tara bound to a chair. Tara sees them and unties her hands. Tara tells him "when I was suicidal there was one thing I always wanted to be" and he asks "what a damsel in distress?" he then laughs and comes closer to her. Tara says "No. Brave." and she stabs him in the eye with her knife. The man screams in pain and he comes at her with a knife but Maria points her gun at him. The man laughs and asks sarcastically if he should be scared. Maria answers yes and she shoots him in the head, killing him. Maria and Joe hug Tara and they all leave together. Maria is shooting a couple beer bottles and Joe tells her she is a good shot. Maria thanks him and he accepts. Joe asks Maria how long has it been since she dated and she answers 2 years long. Joe asks if she would date now and she smiles then walks up to him and kisses him. Maria says she likes him and he confesses that he likes her too. Maria and Joe then continue kissing and Tara cheers them on, they start laughing and they leave.

4. Haunted

It starts off with Lilly (Olivia Wilde) running with a little boy (Jackson Brundage) from a group of demons. Lilly and the little boy, who's name is revealed to be Aidan, hide in a hospital room. Aidan tells Lilly "I'm scared mommy, I want to go home now." The demons then come inside and growl. Lilly then wakes up screaming and Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) and 3 other members try to calm her down. Derek (Cameron Bright) is walking around his old home that was destroyed and he sees John (Ethan Hawke) tells him that it's all his fault. John is then shot in the head by Valcon (Ron Perlman) and Valcon smiles at Derek. Valcon then shoots Tara (Shanley Caswell), Jin (Rick Yune), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Cole (Dakota Goyo), Maria (Christian Serratos), Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and Dylan (Kelsey Sanders). Derek looks in shock and Valcon says "It's all your fault Derek" and he shoots Derek in the head. Derek wakes up looking scared and Dylan, Peter (Atticus Mitchell) and Madison (Danielle Chuchran) calm him down. Dylan asks Derek what happened and he says that he saw everyone die including himself and Dylan. Madison and Peter asks if they were involved but Derek says that it was only some of the Demon Resistance and says to Dylan that some of them made it out. Dylan asks who made it out and he tells her everyone who survived. Dylan is happy to know that her dad made it out and hugs Derek. Derek tells her that they have to find them and they leave with Peter and Madison. Lilly then has a dream of her and Aidan are saved by a man (Billy Burke) named Ralph, who is revealed to be her husband when he kills all the demons by slashing them to death and he hugs them. Lilly says that they found them so they ran as fast as they can and he tells them that he knows. Ralph and Aidan says that it's her fault that they both died and she looks at them while they both turned into demons and she screams. Lilly wakes up scared and starts crying. Cliff asks Lilly who Aidan and Ralph are and she tells him that Ralph was her husband and Aidan was her son. Cliff asks what happened to them and she tells him that she was out getting medical supplies for them but when she came back she found Ralph and Aidan both demons. She tells him that she grabbed Ralph's gun but couldn't shoot a gun so she put the gun down and they were about to attack her but other people were screaming for help and she watched the demonic Aidan and Ralph kill them. She tells him that she watched innocent people die and didn't do anything about it and now she blames it on herself. Cliff tells her that she can't blame herself for what happened and that it's in the past. Two demons attack Cliff and Lilly recognizes them as Aidan and Ralph. Lilly grabs her gun out and yells for their names. Aidan and Ralph run at her and she shoots them both in the head. Lilly then starts crying and Cliff comforts her. Derek wakes up to find himself on a table and is strapped in. The remaining Demon Resistance survivors say to him that it's his fault and they stab Derek to death while Valcon smiles at him and stabs him in the heart. Derek wakes up and starts screaming. Dylan comes in his tent and comforts him. Derek says that he saw everyone kill him and a random guy who keeps showing up in his dreams. Derek says to Dylan that it doesn't matter since he will do whatever it takes to keep his family alive including Dylan and she smiles. Derek says that she is so beautiful and she thanks him. Derek then leans in and kisses her. Dylan pulls back and he apologizes. Dylan then kisses him and they sleep together for the whole night. In the morning, Derek, Dylan, Peter and Madison walk on the road again, to look for everyone. Lilly then wakes up and she tells everyone to hit the road. While Derek and Lilly's group walking, they then reunite with each other. Derek and Dylan say to Lilly and Cliff that they are glad they made it out together and they say the same thing. A demon then comes out of the woods and Derek grabs his knife but a man named Randy Jones (Michael Fassbender) kills it with an axe and Randy asks if he can join them. It then skips to Valcon telling his demons that they won't be safe for long and smiles.

5. All Grown Up

It starts off with Cole (Dakota Goyo) walking in the streets and sees a demon. Cole pulls out a gun and is about to shoot it but Jin (Rick Yune), Wayne (Luke Evans), Paul (Logan Lerman) and Trish (Amber Stevens) shoot at the demon, killing it. Cole tells them that he had the demon and could've done it. Jin tells Cole that he is just a kid and Cole says that he can take care of himself. A demon then comes out of an alleyway and is about to attack Cole but Wayne shoots it in the head, killing it. Jin, Paul, Trish and Wayne are sleeping except Cole and he gets up and packs his stuff. In the morning, Jin, Wayne, Paul and Trish wake up and find Cole gone. Jin finds a note saying: "Don't look for me" and they pack their stuff. Cole is walking around the city and spots a demon. Cole gets out his gun and shoots the demon in the heart, killing it. A horde of demons then start running at Cole and he starts running. Jin, Trish, Wayne and Paul are walking to find Cole and Wayne tells Jin that they will find Cole. Jin tells them that Cole and him escaped together since their camp was attacked and most of their friends were killed but some escaped. Paul asks where Cole's family is and Jin says that his family must've escaped but they said his mom died when it all came down. Trish says that it must be hard for him to go through this and Jin tells them that Cole is a tough kid. Paul asks if he thinks Cole is safe and Jin says let's hope. Cole then locks himself in a store and stares at the demons at the door. Cole then grabs his gun from his pocket and opens the door for the demons. He manages to kill 8 demons and runs out of bullets. Cole then escapes and the demons chase after him. Jin, Wayne, Paul and Trish are walking down the street and see Cole running from the horde of demons. Jin, Wayne, Paul and Trish then start shooting the demons and they run towards Cole. Jin tells Cole that he can't do that and Cole says that he doesn't tell him what to do and that Jin is not his dad. Jin tells him that he is still an adult and has to listen to him. Cole then says that everyone is dead and they will be dead soon. Jin says that some of them made it out and they will find them soon. A demon then attacks Jin and Cole raises his gun. Cole then points it at the demon and shoots it in the heart, killing it. Cole tells Jin that he doesn't believe that his family are dead and wants to be with his family but he doesn't want to get his hopes up because if they find them they could be injured or they all die together when they find them. Jin tells him that he and his family made it this far and once they are all together they will be stronger. 6 masked men then tell them to get on their knees and drop their weapons. One of the men grab Cole and make him get on his knees. Cole then grabs a knife from his pocket and slashes the man's leg. Wayne, Jin, Paul and Trish then shoot the 5 remaining men and Jin shoots the last guy. Jin tells Cole that he did good and Cole thanks him. Cole then tells them that they should go and Paul asks where they're going. Cole says that they're going to find his family and Wayne says his friends are probably with them but Cole says that he has family and now Paul, Wayne and Trish are apart of his family now. They then grab their stuff and walk down the road.

6. Home

It starts off with Maria (Christian Serratos), Tara (Shanley Caswell) and Joe (Jeremy Sumpter) walking on a road and Joe asks Maria if she is okay. Maria says that she is perfectly fine with him here and they kiss while Tara smiles. Tara then sees a house and stops them. Tara says "we can stay here for awhile. We need a place to stay and be safe for once. It's up to you guys but I know I'm ready to sit down for now until we can find the others." and Maria and Joe agree to stay. They then go inside the house and a demon is watching them. John (Ethan Hawke), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Grace (Olivia Munn) and Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) are packing their stuff and they leave. Grace asks why they're leaving and John says that they need to find their group to see if they're alive. Kathy asks if they're family are there and John says that they're all his family including his sons and Colonel Wright's daughter. Grace asks if they're little kids and Colonel Wright says they're teenagers except for Cole (Dakota Goyo). A dozen of demons attack them and John, Grace, Kathy and Colonel Wright manage to kill all of them. John says that they have to keep moving before more demons attack them and they continue walking. Lilly (Olivia Wilde), Derek (Cameron Bright), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Madison (Danielle Chuchran) and Peter (Atticus Mitchell) run from the demons and they turn a corner. The demons turn the same way and are shot down by all of them. Lilly says that they need to keep moving before they get swarmed and they leave to get their group. Derek tells Lilly that they will find all of them alive and she says she knows. Derek asks why she looks worried and she says that she doesn't want to find them dead. Derek says that they won't and will end all of this soon and she says she just wants to be with her family. Derek and Lilly smile and Cliff says that he misses Tara. Madison says that they will find her and Cliff says that he knows she is alive because she can take care of herself and says that he hopes his little brother is fine. Cole is then running from a group of demons and they are shot down by Jin (Rick Yune), Wayne (Luke Evans), Paul (Logan Lerman) and Trish (Amber Stevens). Cole then yells that it was awesome and they all start laughing. Wayne says that it's the last time he is doing that and Cole agrees. Wayne then hugs Cole and Paul whispers to Cole that they'll shoot some later and they fist bump. John and Jin and Cole's group are walking on the road and they see each other. Cole then runs to John and hugs him tight. John tells Cole that he knew he was alive and hugs Jin. John then thanks Jin, Wayne, Paul and Trish for what they have done and Jin accepts. The groups then introduce each other and John says that they better get going to find the others. Wayne says that they found a bus and they drive away in the bus. While driving the bus, Cole is playing checkers with Paul and Paul wins the game. Cole says he officially hates checkers and they all start laughing. Paul asks if he wants to go again and Cole says no since he beat him 6 times in a row. John tells Cole that checkers is easy and Cole says it's easy for him and he can beat them at video games. They all start laughing and John shouts at Colonel Wright to look out. They then crash into another car, causing them to flip over. They all get out and all of them are cut on their faces, neck, arms, hands and legs from the broken glass. Kathy then asks "do you hear that?" and everyone then hears growls. A bunch of demons start dropping down and they start shooting them. John is then attacked by a demon but Derek and Lilly shoot the demon, killing it. They then join John's group with killing them and they succeed. John and Cole then hug Derek and Cliff while Colonel Wright hugs Dylan. John then tells everyone that he is so happy they all made it out alive and asks where Tara and Maria are. Cole says "when we were attacked he was with Lilly and Maria but Lilly distracted the demons while me and Maria were hiding. Maria went to go look for Lilly and she never came back." and Cliff says that he hasn't seen Tara since she was attacked by Torchius. They are all saddened for Maria and Tara but John says that they will find them. At night, Maria is sleeping with Joe and Tara is on watch. Joe wakes up and says that he will take over for her and she says that he should get some rest but he says that she hasn't slept ever since they got here. Tara tells him that the reason why she hasn't slept is because she is wondering about Cliff and the others. Joe tells her that they must've made it out and she smiles at him. They then hear growling and they see a huge demon. Tara tells Joe to get Maria and she fights with the demon. The demon then throws her on the ground and she starts slashing him with a machete. The demon grabs her and Maria stabs the demon through the back and Joe decapitates the demon with the machete. Tara thanks them both and they see a bunch of demons walking towards them. Tara says that they have to get their stuff and go but someone needs to keep them from getting inside. Maria then grabs a machine gun and starts shooting the demons while Tara and Joe get their stuff. Tara and Joe then come outside and they leave. While walking on the road, Tara sees Cliff and the rest of the group and they run to them. Tara then gives Cliff a hug and kisses him. Maria then hugs Lilly and Lilly says that she thought she was dead. Cole then gives Maria a hug and she says "I told you I would come back". John then welcomes them back and he hugs Tara and Maria, while everyone joins in on the hug. Valcon (Ron Perlman) and his demons are watching and says "we will get them soon."

7. Turn

It starts off with the group walking down a road and they see an abandoned prison. John (Ethan Hawke) says that they can stay there since it's the safest place. They all agree to stay there and Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) hears something. Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) asks if she is okay and she says she thought she heard something. They both then go inside and Valcon (Ron Perlman) and his demons are watching them. At night, everyone is sleeping and demons then come in and grab Maria (Christian Serratos), Cole (Dakota Goyo), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Paul (Logan Lerman) and Madison (Danielle Chuchran) and take them away. John is the first one to find out that Maria, Cole, Paul, Madison and Cliff gone and wakes up everybody. John then takes Derek (Cameron Bright), Colonel Wright, Tara (Shanley Caswell), Randy (Michael Fassbender), Jin (Rick Yune), Grace (Olivia Munn), Peter (Atticus Mitchell), Wayne (Luke Evans), Joe (Jeremy Sumpter) and other fighters go to find the missing survivors and Lilly (Olivia Wilde), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Kathy, Trish (Amber Stevens) and civilians stay behind at the abandoned prison. Cole, Maria, Cliff, Madison and Paul wake up only to find themselves laying on a table and strapped in. They all try to get out but Valcon (Ron Perlman) comes in and tells them that they're not going to hurt them but they will turn one of them. John and the others are driving and Derek says to his dad that they will get Cliff, Cole and everyone else back. John tells him that he knows they will get them back but asks if they're safe and Derek says that he believes that they're all safe. Valcon tells his demons to unstrap the survivors and they do as they are told. The demons then line them up and Valcon starts picking who should be turned and points at someone. John and the others arrive at Valcon's lair and go inside. They enter the building and find the survivors strapped to a table. They free them but realize that Paul is not with them and Valcon and his demons then come out of the dark. John asks Valcon where Paul is and Valcon says that he is fine but might've hurt him a little bit. Wayne tries to attack Valcon but Colonel Wright stops them and they hear walking. Paul then walks out and Valcon says that he made him half demon and is under his control. Valcon tells Paul to attack them and Paul fights with the Demon Resistance. Paul manages to kill 2 fighters and defeats everyone. Valcon is about to leave with Paul and his demons but Derek then fights with Paul and defeats him. Paul is about to charge at him but Derek levitates him in the air and throws him to a wall. Derek then tells Paul to snap out of it and Paul goes back to himself. Valcon then commands Paul to defeat Derek but Paul says that he no longer belongs to him and Derek and Paul then fight with Valcon. They both manage to defeat him and are about to kill him but Valcon sends his demons after them. A demon tries to attack Derek and Paul but John and the other fighters manage to kill the demon. They then drive away from the lair and go home. John and Derek hug Cole and Cliff and John tells him that he is glad to have them as his sons. Paul then comes up to Derek and thanks him for bringing him back. Derek says that he didn't want him to be bad and Paul says he feels bad because he killed two of their own and feels like a monster. Derek tells him that he is not a monster and is one of them. The prison bus then breaks down and they all start walking down a road.

8. Monster

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) and the rest of the fighters come back to the prison from rescuing Maria (Christian Serratos), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Cole (Dakota Goyo), Paul (Logan Lerman) and Madison (Danielle Chuchran). Lilly (Olivia Wilde) asks John if anything went wrong and he tells her that Paul is a half demon. Lilly asks if he knows how to control his powers and John tells her that Derek (Cameron Bright) is going to train him. John tells her that Paul killed 2 of their fighters and she starts to get worried but John tells her that everything is going to be okay and they kiss. They then go inside and it shows Valcon (Ron Perlman) and his demons hiding in the woods. Valcon then tells his demons to get Azazel and he smiles. Lilly tells John and Colonel Wright that they need more supplies and they say to her that they will take Cliff, Derek, Tara (Shanley Caswell), Randy (Michael Fassbender), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Paul, Joe (Jeremy Sumpter), Wayne (Luke Evans), Peter (Atticus Mitchell) and Jin (Rick Yune) but Lilly says that they both need rest since they just got back. They then hear screaming from the guards outside and see Azazel tearing 4 fighters apart. They all go outside and Valcon says that he created a new demon named Azazel and is an unstoppable demon. Azazel then attacks them and the group shoot at him. Azazel manages to kill 7 fighters and Valcon tells him to stop. Valcon tells John to surrender now but John tells him he will never surrender and Valcon tells Azazel to kill them. John points his gun at Valcon but Azazel picks him up and starts choking him. Cole grabs a sharp stick and stabs Azazel in the back of the head but Azazel drops John and pulls out the stick from his head. Azazel then growls and hits Cliff with the stick, knocking him unconscious. John, Derek, Colonel Wright, Randy, Dylan, Tara, Maria, Lilly, Cole, Trish (Amber Stevens), Wayne, Paul, Madison, Peter, Kathy, Jin, Grace, Joe and the rest of the fighters shoot at Azazel but he still walks towards them. Azazel knocks Trish, Wayne, Peter and Madison unconscious and injures everyone else. One of the male fighters shoot at him but Azazel stabs him in both of his eyes, killing him. John, Tara, Derek, Paul, Randy and Colonel Wright then go inside the prison with Azazel chasing after them. John, Colonel Wright and Randy go to another hall and Derek, Paul and Tara go to the cell block. John, Colonel Wright and Randy are running until they finally find a wall, leading to no exit and are grabbed by Azazel. Azazel brings them outside and Valcon says to John that he will never kill him or Azazel. Derek, Tara and Paul run back outside and Derek throws a stick of dynamite to John. John stabs the stick of dynamite into Azazel's heart and it blows him to pieces, killing him. Valcon says that he will be back soon and disappears. Lilly is then treating her patients and John comes up to kiss her. Lilly says that they will kill Valcon when he comes back and John agrees to this. John tells her that he will be safe soon and kisses her. Valcon then tells his demons" The Demon Resistance think they're safe now but soon they will all suffer" and he smiles.

9. After Dark

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke), Paul (Logan Lerman) and Derek (Cameron Bright) running with a jug of water in each hand by 6 demons and they run into their camp. The 6 demons follow them and they are shot by Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Tara (Shanley Caswell), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Randy (Michael Fassbender) and Trish (Amber Stevens). John says that they have to keep looking for supplies and they keep moving. John and the group reach a town called Dreadwood and they split up into groups: John, Colonel Wright, Cole (Dakota Goyo), Trish and Randy go to Dreadwood Mental Hospital and Derek, Cliff, Tara, Paul and Dylan go to Dreadwood Elementary School. John's group manage to reach the mental hospital and they walk inside but a man (Norman Reedus) is watching them from a window on the top floor and leaves the window. Cliff's group enter the school and something runs behind them. Paul turns around and says he thought he heard something. They then continue walking and it is revealed a demonic beast (Jackie Earle Haley) is watching them. John and Colonel Wright's group are walking and John asks Randy if he had any family before the apocalypse. Randy tells him that he lost his entire family when the apocalypse came down and John apologizes for his losses. He then tells Randy that he lost his wife when it came down and Randy also apologizes. They then hear glass shatter and the group point their guns. Randy goes near it and once he turns a corner, they find him gone. John and the others than move out to find Randy. Randy is being dragged by the man from the window and is unconscious. The man opens a door and drags him inside. The man then lays him against a window and slams the door shut. John and the others hear this and follow the noise. It then skips to Cliff, Derek and the others walking in the halls. They then stop when they hear growling and it is revealed to be a demonic beast. The demonic beast runs at Cliff and attacks him but he is shot in the arm by Tara and then runs away. The demonic beast looks at Derek and nods his head. Derek then runs after him with everybody running after him and they find the demonic beast gone. A bunch of students then come inside the building and the group become confused. Derek, Cliff, their group and the students then hear screaming. Demons come inside the building and manage to kill all the students. The floor then breaks and Tara, Cliff, Paul, Dylan and Derek fall through the floor. Derek lands on a street and yells for his group. The demonic beast reveals his name to be Focalor and Derek looks around to see everything in flames, abandoned and destroyed. Derek asks what happened and Focalor tells him the demons won the war and the humans are being used as slaves. Derek asked who would do that to them and Focalor tells him that Derek is the leader. Derek asks how he became the leader and Focalor tells him that once he killed Torchius he took his powers and became a full demon but still remains in human form and turns into a demon when he gets very angry. Focalor says he is a monster now and Derek tells him he will never become a monster. Focalor says he will soon then disappears and Derek falls through the floor. Derek and the group then look around and they leave. John and the others are looking for Randy and find him tied up in a chair. John and the others go close to him but the man comes out and points a gun at him. John tells him that they want their friend and the man says that he just wants to be friends. The man reveals his name to be Jaxon and asks for their names. John and the others say their names and Jaxon says he'll remember to carve their names in their tombstones. Jaxon then shoots at John and they start fighting. Colonel Wright unties Randy and John tells him to leave with the others. Colonel Wright leaves with the others and Jaxon then gets the upper hand and starts to choking John but Derek throws him off John and hacks him to death with a machete. The group look at Derek with shock and he apologizes to them. The group then walk out of the building and they start walking. Focalor and Valcon (Ron Perlman) then look at them from a bush and Valcon asks him if he told Derek everything but Focalor says he didn't tell Derek about his friends and family becoming demons and Valcon smiles then says "good cause he is not ready to know".

10. Disappear

It starts off with Valcon (Ron Perlman) commanding one of his demons to get Maskus (Robert Maillet) and he comes in and asks what he can do for him. Valcon says that he needs him to destroy John's group and it shows John (Ethan Hawke), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Tara (Shanley Caswell), Derek (Cameron Bright), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Randy (Michael Fassbender), Joe (Jeremy Sumpter), Madison (Danielle Chuchran), Peter (Atticus Mitchell), Grace (Olivia Munn) and Jin (Rick Yune) killing demons. They manage to kill all the demons but a demon comes out of the woods and attacks Derek. Dylan then comes up behind the demon and stabs it in the heart, killing it. Derek thanks her and kisses her. Colonel Wright is shocked and asks when they started dating. Dylan is about to speak but they hear a scream and run to the camp. Lilly (Olivia Wilde), Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) and Maria (Christian Serratos) then tell the others that Cole (Dakota Goyo), Wayne (Luke Evans), Paul (Logan Lerman), Trish (Amber Stevens) and 7 civilians disappeared into a fog. John asks how this happened and a man reveals that he did it and says his name is Maskus (Robert Maillet). Maskus tells them that Torchius sent him to destroy them and he says that he will do as he is told. He then turns into a cloud and the survivors run. The cloud captures Madison, Peter and 6 fighters and 10 civilians and then it disappears. Lilly then asks how do they kill him and John says that he doesn't know but he will kill him soon. John, Colonel Wright and the rest of the fighters have a plan to kill Maskus but a bunch of hands take 12 fighters and Grace. John then shoots one of the hands and it gets injured. John and the others then go outside and Lilly asks if anybody else disappeared. Lilly says that 14 civilians and Kathy disappeared. Joe asks where Maria is and Lilly tells him that she is calming other civilians down. John tells Lilly that he has a plan for Maskus and Maskus returns. Maskus tells John he has to catch him first if he wants to kill him and he takes Cliff, Dylan, Jin, 13 fighters and 10 civilians. John and the group prepare themselves with guns and they go outside. Maskus then returns and says that it's their time to go. It then turns all white and everyone starts to disappear (including Lilly, Colonel Wright, Derek, Tara, Maria, Joe and Randy). John then tells Maskus" it's time for you to disappear" and he stabs Maskus in the heart before disappearing, killing him. John then wakes up chained to a chair and Valcon comes inside the room. Valcon lets him free and puts old handcuffs on him. John asks where he is and Valcon says "the arena" and it ends.

11. Destroyed

John (Ethan Hawke) is then being transported to another room by demons and he is then thrown in a room with the rest of the Demon Resistance. John hugs Derek (Cameron Bright), Cole (Dakota Goyo), Cliff (Dakota Goyo) and Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) asks how they will escape. A group of three introduce themselves as Mark (Hugh Jackman), Zach (Jay Baruchel) and Bridget (Kaya Scodelario) and Mark says he knows exactly how to escape. 6 demon guards then come in and escort the survivors out of the room. The survivors then enter an arena with other humans and Valcon (Ron Perlman) says "welcome to the arena". Valcon then explains that every survivor must be on their own and kill each other whoever the last one standing is will live. Valcon says that the battle begins and he leaves. The survivors then start killing each other besides John, Colonel Wright, Derek, Cliff, Cole, Lilly, Tara (Shanley Caswell), Maria (Christian Serratos), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Joe (Jeremy Sumpter), Randy (Michael Fassbender), Kathy (Jennifer Connelly), Grace (Olivia Munn), Jin (Rick Yune), Madison (Danielle Chuchran), Peter (Atticus Mitchell), Paul (Logan Lerman), Mark, Zach, Bridget, Wayne (Luke Evans) and Trish (Amber Stevens) while the other Demon Resistance fighters and civilians participate. 6 humans then run at them but they are killed by John, Derek, Randy, Cliff, Tara and Colonel Wright. They then escape the arena but one person attacks John but he is shot in the head by Lilly. The survivors then escape but 88 demons come after them. The survivors manage to kill them all but Valcon tells them that they won't get out alive and he commands his demons to go after them. The survivors then start killing the demons but there are too many. Madison then sees an exit and tells the others she found it. Madison then tries to open it but it won't open and she decides to break it down with a fire extinguisher. A demon then comes after her and she bashes it's head in with the fire extinguisher. She then yells for the group to go and they all fight to the exit. A demon then stabs Madison in the stomach with it's claw and she dies. The group see this and Peter is about to run to her but Joe stops him from going. John then tells them that they have to get out before they're all dead and they all run to the exit. They escape but 20 demons are waiting for them and John, Colonel Wright, Derek, Cliff, Paul, Peter, Tara, Bridget, Mark and Joe manage to kill them all. Valcon then runs at them and Derek and Paul start to fight him. Derek and Paul then start punching him and Valcon throws them both. Valcon then walks over to John but Paul grabs a sharp pole and stabs Valcon through his chest. The group then escape the arena and they head to the new community where Mark, Zach and Bridget live. Valcon then opens his eyes and says "it's not over" and his eyes turn red.

12. Safe & Sound

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke) talking to Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Mark (Hugh Jackman) and Lilly (Olivia Wilde) about the new community. John asks if it's safe there and Mark tells him that they've been safe for a long time. Derek (Cameron Bright) asks Dylan (Kelsey Sanders) if she thinks it will be safe and she responds that they need a break from what they've been going through. They then arrive to the new community and Mark welcomes them to their new home. They all enter the community and they are welcomed by Helen (Jodie Foster). Helen says that they have a lot of room and have rooms for everyone. They all unpack their things and John asks Cliff (Devon Werkheiser), Derek and Cole (Dakota Goyo) if they think it's safe here and they say that they will always follow his opinion. John tells them to keep an eye on everyone and they agree. Maria (Christian Serratos) tells Joe (Jeremy Sumpter) that she thinks they will be safe for once and Joe says that he doesn't feel good about the place. Maria says that she already lost one home and will not lose another home. Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) tells Grace (Olivia Munn) that she thinks it will be good for them and that they could bond more. Grace tells her that she would like that because they haven't gotten along after all they've been through and they both smile. Randy (Michael Fassbender) unpacks his stuff and starts to cry. Wayne (Luke Evans) tells Trish (Amber Stevens) and Paul (Logan Lerman) to stay alert because they don't know the people that well and they agree. Trish goes to Peter (Atticus Mitchell) asks him if he is okay and Peter says that Madison (Danielle Chuchran) always made him smile whenever he was happy, sad or angry and it is hard to let her go. Trish tells him that he will find someone soon and he cries in her arms. At night, they all eat and the group is introduced to Rosie (Alice Braga) and Victor Perez (Edward James Olmos), Vivian (Alexa Vega), Griffin (Gary Oldman), Roger (Lance Henriksen) and Percy (Brad Dourif) and Percy tells John that the demons will get them all soon and starts to laugh. Griffin apologizes for Percy and John says he is no problem. Valcon (Ron Perlman) then calls for John and the others. They all exit the house and John asks that what he wants. Valcon says he wants their blood and he sends his demons after them. Everyone then charge at the demons (besides Matt, Helen, Percy, Rosie and Zach (Jay Baruchel)). John then fights with Valcon and Valcon says that they will never beat him. Valcon then punches John and grabs his gun. Valcon points it at Wayne and shoots him in the chest. Wayne falls to the ground and Trish and Paul run to his side. Wayne tells them: "I want you to keep fighting until every last one of those fucking demons are dead" and he dies. Trish and Paul then get up and start killing demons. A child demon attacks Cliff and Tara (Shanley Caswell) points her gun at the child demon. Cliff tells her to shoot it but the child demon begs her not to kill him and she shoots him in the head. She starts to cry and she starts to kill demons with Cliff by her side. Jin (Rick Yune) and Peter are killing demons together and Jin is attacked but he is saved by Cole when he shot the demon in the heart. Kathy, Lilly and Grace are killing demons together and Grace is then stabbed in the stomach with a demon claw. Lilly holds it down while Kathy stabs it multiple times and she rushes to Grace. Kathy apologizes to Grace because she didn't spend any time with her and Grace says "you're here now and that's all that matters. I love you much Kathy and I want you to keep fighting." Grace then dies and Kathy and Lilly fight the demons together. Valcon then punches John several times and says that he will never win. John punches Valcon in the stomach and stabs Valcon in his head with a sword, killing him. The demons then stop fighting and take their master away. John hugs Lilly and his kids and says "it's all over". The demons then put Valcon on the ground and his forehead starts healing. He then opens his eyes and walks away. John and the others look onto the sun and finally begin to realize they are now safe for once.

13. Possession

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke) waking up and he goes to eat breakfast. He sees Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and goes up to kiss her. Lilly says that she has more patients to take care of and they go get breakfast. Tara (Shanley Caswell) serves them their breakfast and tells Vivian (Alexa Vega) to take over for her. She sits down while Derek (Cameron Bright), Cole (Dakota Goyo), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Paul (Logan Lerman), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) and Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) come over to eat breakfast with them. Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) then walks over to Tara and tells her that they have to talk and they walk away from the table. Cliff tells her that she needs to go back to being a fighter and she says she won't go back. Cliff tells her "look I know you had to put that child demon down and I know it was hard but you did the right thing. You can still be a fighter and you shouldn't let it get to you" and she leaves. It then shows Trish (Amber Stevens) in line for breakfast and Mark (Hugh Jackman) kisses her. Mark asks if she is going on the run today and she tells him that she is but has to get Peter (Atticus Mitchell) and Paul (Logan Lerman). Peter is crying in his room and Derek and Dylan knock on the door. They tell him that the run is coming up soon and he says that he is going to skip the run. Derek says to him "I know you lost Madison but you can't blame yourself. You need to let it go and keep moving on" and Peter says that he will never move on and the two leave. It then skips to Joe (Jeremy Sumpter) and Maria (Christian Serratos) having sex. Joe asks Maria if it was good for her and she says that it was perfect. Joe asks if it hurt and she answers that the first time is suppose to hurt because she did it with her one and only love. He said to her that it was his first time and is glad he lost his virginity to her. They kiss and Joe says that they have to get ready for the run. Paul and Bridget (Kaya Scodelario) are sword fighting and Paul wins. Zach (Jay Baruchel) and Jin (Rick Yune) tell Bridget that she'll win next time and Bridget says she'll beat his ass next time. Paul asks Jin and Bridget if they're ready and they both leave to go on the run. Everyone splits up into 4 groups, first group: John, Colonel Wright, Kathy and Griffin (Gary Oldman), second group: Derek, Dylan, Peter and Paul, third group: Cliff, Joe, Maria and Bridget and fourth group: Mark, Jin, Trish and Randy (Michael Fassbender). Once they all spread out, Derek's group go into a food store and Peter is attacked by a demon. It scratches him and Paul manages to decapitate it. Peter says he's okay and they carry Peter away. They warn the others and they all leave. Once they get him into his house, Peter starts to levitate and is thrown around by an invisible force. It then stops and they all ask if he's okay. At night, Paul, Trish and Peter are sleeping and Peter gets up and goes to Trish's room. Trish is sleeping and he tries to suffocate her but she kicks him and asks what he is doing. Peter says that he wants her dead and lifts her up while choking her. Paul comes in and attacks Peter making Trish fall. Paul holds him to the ground and tells him to stop. Paul tells him that this isn't him and Peter says "Peter isn't here anymore." Peter snaps out of it and tells Paul that he needs to stop it. John, Derek, Lilly, Griffin and Roger (Lance Henriksen) come in. John says that Roger was a priest and Roger starts the exorcism. Peter then levitates the cross out of Roger's hand and starts to choke him to death. Roger then dies and Griffin starts to cry over his friend's body. Peter then grabs a knife and stabs himself in the stomach. Peter tells Paul "I had to do it. I couldn't take the pain anymore and I will be with Madison again. You were all good friends to me and I love you guys for that. Goodbye" and he dies. The demon then comes out of Peter and Paul kills it with Roger's cross. They then have a funeral for Roger and Peter and the end shows all of the survivors sad.

14. I Am Darkness

It starts off with Derek (Cameron Bright) and Cole (Dakota Goyo) are sleeping and Derek opens his eyes. Derek gets up and turns on the fireplace. He stares at the fire and his eyes turn red. It then shows Valcon (Ron Perlman) calling his name and Focalor (Jackie Earle Haley) appears. Focalor then takes him to Valcon and Derek then snaps out of it. Derek asks what he wants and Valcon tells him that he wants him to be friends. Valcon tells him that he is here to warn him about Derek and Derek says that Focalor told him everything. Valcon says not everything and continues with saying "to stop you from becoming a future demon leader you must kill one of the people you love." Derek says that he will never kill people he loves and Valcon tells him that he doesn't have a choice because time is running out soon. Derek then says that he'll think about it and leaves. Derek goes back to bed and Cole asks Derek if he's okay. Derek says he's fine and goes to sleep. John (Ethan Hawke) hears Cliff screaming and he runs outside with Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and his sons to find Cliff carrying Tara (Shanley Caswell). They rush to them and Lilly asks what happened. Cliff says that she overdosed on pills and doesn't have a pulse. Lilly then uses a defibrillator to revive her and she starts breathing. Tara wakes up and Cliff asks to be alone with her. Cliff asks why she did it and Tara says that she doesn't want to live after what she did. Cliff tells her "did you know I was scared to death? That I was scared that I was going to lose you? I don't want to lose you Tara and I will help you get through this because I care and I love you so much" and she apologizes. Cliff hugs her and then kisses her while telling her that everything will be okay. Derek tells John that he talked to Valcon and his father looks at him confused. John says that Valcon is dead but Derek says "he survived. He sent a demon named Focalor to show me what the world will look like when I become the leader. It's ugly dad and the only way to stop this from happening is if I kill someone who I care or love" and John believes him. John says that he has to tell the others about him but doesn't know how they'll take it and they form a group meeting. John announces to the new community that Derek and Paul (Logan Lerman) are half-demon and Griffin (Gary Oldman) says that they're not aloud here. John says that he is not throwing them to the demons so they can become evil and Griffin says that they should leave. John says "we came here for protection. We thought that we could be safe for once and you saw how Derek and Paul are in combat. You need them and they've been nice to you for a year now. You want to throw them out? That's called murder because you're leaving them to die. We'll take a vote. Whoever wants them to stay raise your hands?" and everyone raises their hands (including Lilly, Cole, Trish (Amber Stevens), Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane), Kathy (Jennifer Connelly), Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Randy (Michael Fassbender), Maria (Christian Serratos), Jin (Rick Yune), Joe (Jeremy Sumpter), Zach (Jay Baruchel), Bridget (Kaya Scodelario), Mark (Hugh Jackman), Rosie (Alice Braga), Victor (Edward James Olmos), Helen (Jodie Foster), Percy (Brad Dourif) and Vivian (Alexa Vega)). Griffin and a few survivors are the only ones who don't approve and they leave the community. Griffin tells Helen to come with him but she says she is staying and he leaves angrily. They all get their guns ready and Valcon enters with his demons. Derek grabs a knife and is about to kill his father but he pauses and says he can't kill his father. Valcon says he needs to kill him so that it stops and John shouts at Derek to kill him. Derek lifts the knife and is about to kill John but Jin jumps in the way and he is stabbed in his chest. Valcon says "it's done" and leaves. Derek says he is sorry for killing him and Jin says he will do anything to save him and everyone else. He then dies and everyone starts crying. Griffin says to his new survivors that they will attack them and kill them for bringing two demons in their community. He then says "they will pay for what they did" and they all cheer.

15. The Enemy

It starts off with Griffin (Gary Oldman) and his group walking down a road. It then shows a flashback of Helen (Jodie Foster) worrying where Kyle (Andrew J. West) might be and Kyle comes inside the house. Kyle tells them to get their stuff and leave. Gabe (Jesse Metcalfe) and Heather (Missy Peregrym) ask how long they have and Griffin says they will find a place soon. It then skips to Griffin, Helen and Kyle running in the woods and they stop. Helen is attacked by a demon and Kyle stabs it in the throat. Kyle says they have to keep moving and Griffin says they need to take a breath. Kyle says "if you want to live Dad, we need to keep moving" and they all run away. It then goes back to Griffin and the others and Griffin then says he's going out and leaves. He walks in the woods and leans against a tree crying. A shot goes off and he runs back to the group. He sees a man, two women and a little girl and Griffin asks for their names. The man reveals their names to be Daniel (Drew Fuller), his sister Kris (Alexandra Daddario), his wife Rachel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and his daughter Alice (Emily Alyn Lind) and Daniel asks if they could join their group. Griffin lets them join and it goes back to Griffin, Helen and Kyle getting weapons. Demons then come inside the store and they all kill the demons. Kyle is attacked but Helen stabs the demon in the heart, killing it. It then goes back to Griffin's group and they find a hospital, where they end up staying. Griffin asks Daniel to go on a supply run with him, Gabe, Heather and a couple others and he volunteers but Kris decides to go with them for back up and they leave. They get to a grocery store and grab everything they need but 22 demons enter the store and the demons kill 5 members of the group. The group starts fighting back and one attacks Griffin but Daniel saves him and they start killing demons together. They end up killing all the demons and they leave. Griffin knocks on Daniel's door and says "thank you. You saved my life today." Daniel accepts his thank you and Griffin says "you remind me of my son". Daniel smiles and Griffin says goodbye. Griffin goes to his room and starts to cry. It then goes back to Griffin, Kyle and Helen looking for supplies around an abandoned town. Kyle opens a door and is attacked by a demon. The demon rips out his guts and Griffin stabs it in the head multiple times. Griffin and Helen surround Kyle and Kyle says "I love you both". Kyle then dies and Griffin and Helen start to cry. Griffin says to Helen "he will kill every last one of those demons."

16. What I've Become

It starts off with Griffin (Gary Oldman) knocking on Daniel's (Drew Fuller) door and asks him if him and Kris (Alexandra Daddario) want to join him and the others on a supply run. They join them and they arrive in the city of Philadelphia. They search around the city for supplies and a group of demons attack them. Griffin, Daniel, Kris, Gabe (Jesse Metcalfe), Heather (Missy Peregrym) and the others manage to kill the demons. Back at camp, Rachel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Alice (Emily Alyn Lind) play hide and seek. Alice hides and is attacked by a demon. Rachel tries to kill the demon but it throws her and Griffin shoots it in the head, killing it. Daniel and Kris run to Rachel and Alice and Daniel thanks Griffin. Griffin says to his people that he doesn't want anyone to let a demon in the hospital and dismisses them. Daniel knocks on Griffin's door and Griffin lets him inside. Daniel thanks him for saving Alice and he says that he would do anything to protect him. Daniel asks why he would do this and Griffin says to him again that he reminds him of his son. Daniel says that he reminds of his father and says "my father would always protect his family and would never leave us. He said one day you will understand why I protected you." Daniel then hugs Griffin and leaves the room. Griffin tells Daniel, Kris, Gabe and Heather to get ready for the supply run and they grab their weapons. They get to a nearby Wal-Mart and grab stuff they need. 5 men then surround them and tell them to hand over their stuff. Daniel tries to reason with them but the leader punches him in the face and Kris goes to his side. Griffin shoots 3 of the men and Gabe shoots one of them. The leader is then stabbed to death with a machete by Griffin and Daniel and Kris are shocked. They get back to camp and Griffin tells Daniel and Kris that it had to be done. Daniel says that he knows and him and Kris leave. A man then comes into camp and points a knife at the group. Daniel points a gun at the man and the man is about to hand over the knife but Griffin shoots the man in the head. Griffin then lowers his gun and walks away. Daniel knocks on Griffin's door and says that he gets it now. He goes on telling him that he understands that you have to kill people when they try to hurt you. Griffin tells him to come with him and they drive away. It shows them looking at John (Ethan Hawke), Derek (Cameron Bright) and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) talking to each other and Griffin says "this is the threat we're up against, and we need to kill them all."

17. No Longer Home

It starts off with John (Ethan Hawke), Derek (Cameron Bright) and Colonel Wright (Thomas Jane) talking about how they're going to tell Cliff (Devon Werkheiser) and Tara (Shanley Caswell) about Jin (Rick Yune). They then tell Tara and Cliff about Jin and Cliff is pissed at Derek for killing Jin and almost killing John. Derek says that he would've been evil and kill them all and Cliff understands but still doesn't like the fact that he killed Jin and almost killed John. They then hear gunshots and go outside to see what caused it. They all see Griffin (Gary Oldman) and Griffin says he wants to talk. John walks up to the front of the gate of the community and tells him that he should stop what he is doing. Griffin says that he wants the community to himself but John says "We can all live together. We don't have to start a war, we all are good people in our own way and we should never change that. Please, let's put it all behind us and unite together." Griffin agrees to this and John lets them inside. Griffin then shoots 3 of the community's soldiers and this causes the group to have a shootout. Rachel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Alice (Emily Alyn Lind) are playing together. Rachel then hears footsteps and grabs her gun. Rachel then sees a demon and it attacks her. Rachel manages to shoot it in its jaw and she throws it off her. Alice asks if she's hurt and a demon then appears behind Alice and stabs her through her back with its claw. Rachel screams and shoots the demon in its heart. Back at the community, the gunfight is still going on, Griffin attacks John and start fighting. Heather (Missy Peregrym) and Gabe (Jesse Metcalfe) start shooting at Cole (Dakota Goyo), Vivian (Alexa Vega), Helen (Jodie Foster), Rosie (Alice Braga) and Victor (Edward James Olmos) but they are shot and killed by Lilly (Olivia Wilde) and Dylan (Kelsey Sanders), Lilly tells them that they have to go and they all leave together. Zach (Jay Baruchel), Bridget (Kaya Scodelario) and Percy (Brad Dourif) are shot at by two of Griffin's men, Percy is killed by the men and Derek and Paul (Logan Lerman) shoot the two men and they escape together. Rachel then shows up and tells Daniel (Drew Fuller) and Kris (Alexandra Daddario) that Alice is dead. Two men from Griffin's group accidentally shoot Rachel and Daniel, killing them and leaving Kris as the last one in her family. Cliff and Tara are shooting at Griffin's fighters and they manage to kill 4 fighters. Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) and Randy (Michael Fassbender) are being attacked by 4 demons, Cliff tells Tara that they need to kill them and they both kill the 4 demons. Trish (Amber Stevens) is attacked by a demon and Mark (Hugh Jackman) shoots the demon in the mouth, Mark says that they have to leave and they escape. John is still fighting Griffin and Griffin then punches John 4 times until Kris knocks him unconscious. With the community destroyed and Griffin's army defeated, John, Kris, Joe (Jeremy Sumpter), Maria (Christian Serratos) and an unconscious Griffin leave together. The last shot shows the destroyed community and the losses of the community and Griffin's army.

18. Get Out Alive

John and his group are on the road again and have to deal with Griffin. Things start to turn worse when demons capture them and they must work together with Griffin and Valcon.

Cliff, Tara, Randy and Kathy are haunted by their loved ones.
