Plot[]
The story begans with Carrie White, a girl who is isolated and abused by her psychotically religious mother, Margaret.
After an incident in the shower room causes her fellow classmates to bully Carrie ruthlessly, her gym teacher, Miss Desjardin disciplines them severely.
Determined to have revenge, the ringleader, Chris Hargensen hatch a plot against Carrie, which goes horribly wrong when Carrie's strange telekinetic powers are unleashed during The Senior Prom.
Deaths[]
- Tommy Ross: After Chris and Billy dump the bucket of pig's blood on Carrie, the bucket falls and hits Tommy in the head, fracturing his skull and killing him.
- Kenny Garson: When Kenny, Jackie and Tina and try to leave the Prom, Carrie shuts the doors with her telekinetic powers, which snaps his neck and kills him.
- Rachel Spies: Carrie sends a shockwave through the Prom, knocking everyone over. Rachel runs as fast as she can, but she eventually get thrown across the gym and her face get smashed against a firedoor window.
- Tina Blake: Tina is running is fear, so Carrie brings down the disco ball and it crushes Tina, killing her and setting the whole Prom on fire.
- Norma Watson: While Norma tries to escape through an air vet, Carrie sends her flying across the gym and she dies upon impact.
- Mr. Grayle: Mr. Grayle tries to calm everyone down by yelling on the microphone, but Carrie kills him by spraying the microphone with a firehose, electrocuted him.
- Donna and Mary Lila Grace Thibodeau: While trying to run to the doors, Carrie turns on the sprinklers, which makes Donna and Mary slip and fall to the floor and despite their efforts to get up, they are trampled to death by panicked students.
- Jackie Talbot: Jackie tries to climb up the ropes so he can get out through the windows with Helen and Don, but Carrie cuts the rope and Jackie falls to a burning table.
- Helen Shyres and Don Farnham: Helen and Don continues to climb the ropes, but Carrie cuts the ropes again and they both fall to the floor and die upon impact.
- Jessica Upshaw: Jessica tries to push open the door, but fails so she gets a chair and tries to bash it open, but Carrie makes the chair hit her face, breaking her nose.
- Ruth Gogan: While Ruth tries to escape with rest of the students and teachers, Carrie sends the electricity wires to the watery floor and electrocutes most of everyone inside the Prom.
- Billy Nolan: After Chris and Billy spot Carrie walking down the road, they attempt to run her over with their car, but as soon as it almost hits her, Carrie makes their car crash onto a telephone pole, which kills Billy by hitting his head against the windshield.
- Chris Hargensen: Chris survives the car crash, but also gets very sad when she sees Billy dead, Carrie then makes the telephone pole fall on top of the car and explodes it, killing Chris inside.
- Margaret White: When Margaret tries to kill Carrie with a knife, Carrie uses her telekinetic power to stop her heart, killing her, in self-defense.
- Carrie White: After Carrie losses a lot of blood from her stab wound, she slowly dies in Sue’s arms and says her final words, “You will all remember my name!”.
