Clethau, was an orc captain working directly under Saruman, during the War of the Ring. He had great hunting skills, and was often made to provide food by himself for the rest of his troop, on scouting missions. Not much is known about his origins, as well as his age, though by speculation from his orc allies, as well as past conversation by him hinting at this, his estimated age is 517. He was not made by Saruman however, but was created in Mordor, by unknown means. He would often get in fights with other orcs and would often have to be forced to back-down, though Uruk-Hai, for some reason, respected him. He was killed by an elf archer at Helm's Deep.
