Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them: An Introduction is an upcoming 2014 American Fantasy Action film based on the 2001 paperback Harry Potter spin-off book by J.K Rowling written by original author J.K Rowling & Steve Kloves and directed by Brad Bird starring Eddie Redmayne, Michael Angelis, Sophie Turner, Freddie Highmore, Michael Gambon, Kate Winslet, Lily Cole, Anthony Hopkins, Cary Elwes, Danny Bonaduce and Michael Caine.

The film serves as a prequel to the later to follow wizarding world story of Harry Potter and is the first instalment of three parts: the following sequel titled Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them: XXXXX to set for a summer release of February 4th, 2016 and the third and final instalment Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them: Completing the Compendium to be unveiled theatrically Spring of 2018 on September 12th.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them: An Introduction is slated for a worldwide theatrical release Winter 2014 on August 19th in IMAX 3D, Digital 3D in select cinemas and basic 2D format.

The film is to like the Harry Potter series to be distributed by Warner Bros, Heyday and 1492 pictures.

The film differientiates from the original novel as certain characters of the Harry Potter verse are added in andthe inclusion of Harry Potter himself kicks off a beginning sequence of the film.

Plot

The film begins with the foreword of Albus Dumbledore telling of the book Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, as well as a secret letter left hidden in his office prior to his death to be discovered by Minerva McGonagall and preserved by her for Harry Potter as past of an additional last will & testament of his, one to handed over after the second wizarding war concludes.

The letter is read by an older Harry at his and his now wife Ginny's home which tells of his life story, the details he failed to tell him, the lead up battle of the first wizarding war with his bestfriend Gellert Grindewald and exactly how he came to discover the twelve uses of Dragon's Blood as he aided a young wizard: Newton 'Newt' Scamander on his continental journey along with many other fine young witches and wizards in creating a very important compendium that he and Mr. Ronald Weasley's friend Hermione Granger knows all too well: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.

The scene then takes us to an infant Newton who as he grows up comes to be obsessed with the world of magical beasts as his mother was a breeder of renowned hippogriffs.

The scene then comes to a young adult Newton in the 1920's in bustling New York where along with fellow Hogwarts graduates Pollux 'Pol' Black and his brother Arcturus 'Arc' Black his bestfriends who helped discover Hogwarts grounds local Scottish Billywigs.

Newton is summoned by owl to London, England to the Ministry of Magic for a personal audience with the great sorcerer Merlin and Ministry official Augustus Worme.

Pol and Arc the Black brothers under the use of a concealment charm accompany Newt to the Ministry and are caught out as Merlin sees through their concealment charm which is in fact a very special cloak of invisibility.

Augustus informs Newt that he has the chance to make the Order Of Merlin Second Class should he complete a compendium covering all the magical beasts of their world which have yet to be fully classified.

Pol and Arc are also offered to be granted the award of Order Of Merlin Second Class should they accompany and assist him in this search.

Merlin tells Newt he was specifically chosen for his great knowledge of magical beasts and for being the highest scoring Care of Magical Creatures O.W.L. student in the history of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

He tells of the great things Headmaster Armando Dippet has said in regards to Newt and even something about his two little cling on friends who have decided to cling along for this private meeting.

He tells for the journey he is calling on a crack team of the most talented witches and wizards of the age who will become part of a new department in the Ministry of Magic: The Beasts' Division.

As Newt and the Black Brothers enquire as to who exactly are the others being assembled for this crack team the scene is taken to a skilled Defence Against the Dark Arts student of the French Beauxbatons Academy For Magic, Tilly Toke who receives an Owl summoning her to the Ministry, Hogwarts Ravenclaw student Perpetua Fancourt a witch with extensive knowledge in astronomy and the most gifted student of her time in Transfiguration, Former Sea Captain Wizard and the slayer of the Sea Serpent Glanmore Peaks' ghost, Famous former Hogwarts Gryffindor student and renowned seeker Roderick Plumpton, Good Samaritan travelling wizard Norvel Twonk and then finally Godric's Hollow spellcaster Albus Dumbledore who all also receive a summoning post from Merlin to the Ministry.

As they all arrive by different means: Glanmore's Ghost by a ghostly ship which breaks through the Ministry's barrier, Tilly, Perpetua and Albus by the Floo Fireplaces, Roderick by a firebolt broomstick and Norvel by apparation.

The group are then led by Merlin and Augustus to the final recruitment who in fact is a employee of the Ministry working in the Improper Use Of Magic Office, a talented spell mixer Orabella Nuttley.

They are then settled down in Augustus' office and ran through the contitents they must visit and the beasts they are set with facing and compiling information on.
