Famous Nonagenarians is an American documentary television series that distributed its first season on The CC (Cartoon Comedy) on July 22, 2016, with its second season distributing on July 21, 2017, with 26 episodes. Currently, the third season distributed on July 20, 2018, and a fourth and last season is planned and distributed for July 19, 2019. The term nonagenarian refers to an individual who is between 90 and 99 years old.
On December 7, 2016, a spin-off was announced following the success of the first season. Titled Famous Octogenarians, the show focuses on celebrities who died between the ages of 80-89. The show aired on January 7, 2017, with 6 episodes consisting of 3 celebrities each running for 90 minutes. It will only run for a season.
In addition, a trio of specials aired between seasons 1 and 2, while specials to air between seasons 2 and 3 are airing for two episodes. Specials broadcasting between seasons 3 and 4 are also airing for two episodes.
The show was announced, on March 17, 2018, to move to The CC (Cartoon Comedy)'s app The CC APP, where it will broadcast all episodes, plus the future seasons and specials. This is all part of The CC (Cartoon Comedy) president Serena Gamble's plan to integrate only animated programming into the channel. The third season was the first season to be part of the deal, distributing on the app July 20, 2018.
The series focuses on the lives nonagenarians celebrities (at least some centenarian celebrities will appear, however), complete with interviews on what they are up to, with the exception of deceased nonagenarians celebrities.

Famous Nonagenarians has received mixed to average reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, the first season received a 63% approval rating with an average score of 5.7 out of 10 based on 26 reviews, with a critics consensus of: "With exquisite re-telling of famous nonagenarians' lives and its titillating interviews, [Famous Nonagenarians] manages to make a fascinating viewing experience, even at the expense of sad cliché moments [during the re-telling about the downs of the said stars' life]". Metacritic scored the season a 52 out of 100 based on 31 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews". The second season improved slightly with a 69% approval rating and an average score of 6.5 out of 10 based on 11 reviews, with its critics' consensus being: "This show got famously good with this season."
Its spin-off, Famous Octogenarians, got an average approval rating of 70% and an audience score of 53%.
The Season 1 specials had better reviews, with a 94% approval rating.
