Famous ISD is an American animated comedy series created by E.Z., and aired on The CC (Cartoon Comedy). It was to air for 20 episodes but ended early at 10 episodes due to failing ratings, and aired its last episode on a cliffhanger, on October 4, 2014, after being on the air for only 4 months, making it one of the shortest-lived shows on the channel.

On May 29, 2017, it was announced the show would come back for a special that would wrap up the show. The special will air on July 7, 2017. It is the official series finale.

Plot

A kid named Peter Biggs (Jeff Bennett), who was kicked out of 11 schools, is given a chance at Famously Middle School, where clones of celebrities are the teachers. There, he meets Arnold Fairsworth (John DiMaggio) and Amelia-Alson (Grey DeLisle).

In this Famous ISD special, Peter, Arnold, and Amelia-Alson go on a field trip to another school remiscenent of Famously Middle School. This special will also answer questions behind the creation of Famously Middle School.

Rejected episodes

Famous ISD was to air for 20 episodes, but only aired half of them before getting cancelled due to low ratings. However, some episode ideas that didn't make the cut or weren't fully produced were announced by E.Z. These episodes would have been:

  • An episode which would see our three friends go on a field trip to another school remiscenent of Famously Middle School. This rejected idea was reused in the 2017 special.
  • A episode which would have Usain Bolt teach Health Class.

No other rejected episode ideas had been announced since then.
