Eviscerating Sons of Chaos is the debut album from American Metalcore band Death Flower. It was released on June 15 2000 with Roadrunner Records. It is followed by 2002's Soulsucker.

In an interview with Metalcore USA Chris Davenport stated:

"Eviscerting Sons of Chaos for us was purely experimental. We heard other bands, like Metallica and Disturbed, who were both huge then, and we decided this is direction we want to set ourselves in. Getting my brother (Leon Davenport) on board to create the album artwork was also a experimental process, to see how the public would react to our image and music. Thankfully they liked it, or else we'd be a group of deabeats on the side of the road eating from trash cans and busking for money."

The band released their first album with Roadrunner Records, who have also worked with Trivium among others. Lead singer Chris Davenport said that recording it was a very long and gruelling process.

The first single of the album, "Betrayed" was released on June 3 to promote the album, and due to its sucess it remains Death Flower's most known song and is commonly played in their live setlist. The second single, "Fading Light", was released on June 12 to also promote the album. Three following singles, "Eviscerate", "False Gods", and "Blackened" where release in the following months of Eviscerating Sons of Chaos' release.
