Effigia californii (name meaning Georgia O'Keeffe's animal from California) is a feathery mostly-bipedal dinosaur-like archosaur that originally lived in what is now New Mexico, south-western USA, and was once extinct, but has since been brought back by SciiFii and now lives in the Triassic Dinosaurs section of Cretaceous Park located at Sacramento, California. It can grow to be around 2 meters (6 ft) long and weigh about as much as an emu. It is mostly-carnivorous and mainly feeds on smaller animals and carrion, but can occasionally feed on leaves, cycads, or fern to supplement its diet. It is solitary throughout most of its lifetime, but males can find females to mate with during breeding seasons. The egg-laying seasons normally starts around 2-3 months after mating seasons, the eggs hatch about 2-4 months after being laid, and the young are cared for by their parents until they're old enough to fend for themselves.
