Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz: A Star is Born! is an idea for a 2D flash-animated musical comedy adventure film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Brand Entertainment with animation provided by Snipple Animation Studios.

It is based on the series Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, in turn based on the Oz books by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 classic film.

The film is about Dorothy and his friends getting ready for the Munchkinland talent show tonight, but with the help of Top Hat Jones, a talented young man with a top hat from New York City.

From the creators of Teen Titans Go to the Movies, Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz, Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz, Tom and Jerry: Ozma in Oz and Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz.

  • The film was originally titled Journey Back to Oz: Dorothy's Return, but it was changed to Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz: A Star is Born to avoid confusion with the 1972 animated film.
  • This is the first theatrically-released film to be produced by 97kaylum1's film company Brand Entertainment.
  • Top Hat Jones' personality is based off Hubie from The Pebble and the Penguin.
