Disney In The House 2 is a 2025 American computer-animated adventure film produced by Olaramore04 Productions and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The eighth film produced by the studio, it is the sequel to 2022's Disney In The House and the second film in the franchise. Sarah Silverman, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Ed O'Neill reprised their roles from the first film, with Stephanie Beatriz, Justin Theroux, Paul Giamatti, Rosario Dawson, and John Goodman voicing new characters. In the film, Vanellope von Schweetz. Judy Hopps, and Hank team up with two explorers to locate the long-lost Golden Snowflake in the jungles of Africa while facing off against two mean-spirited poachers named Lakota and Luna McLachlan.
The film was released theatrically in the United States on April 25, 2025, and grossed over $759 million worldwide on a $100 million budget. Like its predecessor, Disney In The House 2 received universal acclaim, with critics praising the story, humor, characters, musical score, animation, and voice performances; it is considered by many critics to be the year's best animated film. The film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. It spawned two sequels: Disney In The House 3 and Disney In The House 4 in 2028 and 2030.
Plot[]
One month after the events of the first film, Vanellope von Schweetz, Judy Hopps, and Hank are now friends. Vanellope and Hank are training to be police officers like Judy, who coaches them on technique. Suddenly, a stampede of animals from the zoo run through New York in fear of two mysterious strangers named Lakota and Luna.
Vanellope Judy, and Hank are hired by the police chief Jim A. Markowski to find the long-lost Golden Snowflake in the jungles of Africa, otherwise Judy will be fired, which would prevent Vanellope and Hank from being cops. He sends them to be accompanied by his adoptive daughter Molly Knight, a jungle explorer, her partner and boyfriend, Zaku Gad, and her pet scarlet macaw, Foster. Zaku is confident, but Molly's claustrophobia occasional lead to her and Vanellope having some disagreements over the dangers of the jungle.
Lakota and Luna plot to get the Golden Snowflake first and pollute the jungle. It is later revealed that Lakota and Luna's days as children in which they were two of of Molly's friends, but Molly adopted Zaku and ultimately forgot them. Enraged, the two attacked them, but were tranquilized. Vanellope, Judy, Hank, Molly, Zaku, and Foster attempt to ride a zip cord through the jungle, but the cord snaps, plunging them into a lake where they are attacked by crocodiles. They save Vanellope from being eaten by one crocodile and manage to escape to shore.
As Vanellope, Judy, Hank, Molly, Zaku, and Foster continue on through the jungle, they later come across Terrible Tom the Giant, who refuses to let them go through his gate, revealing he prevents any more visitors to protect his gate after a rat stole his winter supply. As soon as they sneak through the gate, the enraged Tom goes on a rampage and chases them until he falls into a ditch. Later, Vanellope and Molly are almost eaten by a carnivorous plant, but Hank saves them. Later, Molly explains that her fears developed after her parents were eaten by a smiliar carnivorous plant, leaving her in care of Jim. They approach the ancient ruins, but are stymied by a nearby field of hot springs and geysers. After Vanellope and Molly argue over which way is the safest to go through, Molly, Zaku, and Foster abandon her, Judy, and Hank.
Vanellope, Judy, and Hank arrive at the temple, but suddenly, Lakota and Luna reveal that they got to the temple first and capture the trio. Molly, having had a change of heart, arrives with Zaku and apologizes to them. As they reconcile, Jim, Wood, and the Aliens arrive in their helicopter. While Judy and Hank free the captive animals, Vanellope rushes to the Golden Snowflake. When Lakota and Luna grab it first, but without the Golden Snowflake, a massive sandstorm is created. Luna and Lakota fall into a trap, while the group evacuates. Vanellope returns the Golden Snowflake to the treasure pile, reversing the sandstorm.
Back in New York, Molly and Zaku marry, and Vanellope and Hank become cops. The film ends with Vanellope, Judy, and Hank pursuing a street racer, ready to fight crime, solve mysteries, and help the city.

Critical response[]
Disney In The House 2 received universal acclaim from critics and audiences alike. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 100% approval rating, the same rating its predecessor received. The site's consensus reads, "With dazzling animation (in particular, the jungle and its animals wonderfully realized), a undeniably action-packed plot, and an all-star cast (particularly the return of Sarah Silverman, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Ed O'Neill), Disney In The House 2 proves to be an arguably rare sequel with ten times the magic of the original film". On Metacritic, the film has a score of 100 out of 100 based on 42 critics, indicating "universal acclaim". Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film a grade of A+ on an A+ to F scale.
Mary McNamara of the Los Angeles Times gave the film five stars, saying, "This sequel is very superior to the original, with its lovable heroes up to some more great adventure in this film series". Joel Siegel of Good Morning America wrote, "Like its two animated protagonists, this film is energetic and full of surprises for fans of the first Disney In The House". He considered the film to be as good as other animated films released in 2025.
