Vanellope often grabs coffee for Judy on the way, but Judy worries Vanellope is working too hard and needs to be more mature. Suddenly, a stampede of animals from the zoo run through the streets in fear of a mysterious stranger. Vanellope and Judy are invited by the police chief Jim Knight to find the long-lost Golden Snowflake in the jungles of Africa. He sends them to be accompanied by his daughter Molly Knight, a jungle explorer, and her pet Zaku, a scarlet macaw. Unwilling to be near any carnivores, Judy objects but reluctantly agrees.

Lakota is plotting to get there first and pollute the jungle. It is later revealed that Lakota's days as a child in which he was one of Molly's friends, but Molly adopted Zaku and ultimately forgot him. Enraged, he attacked them, but was tranquilized. Vanellope, Judy, Molly, and Zaku attempt to zip through the jungle via a zip cord, but fall to a river, where they almost fall over the edge of the waterfall but are rescued by an anaconda who claims to be a friend of Jim's. Suddenly, the branch snaps beneath Anaconda's weight, and the four fall, though they survive.

They later come across Terrible Tom the Giant, who refuses to let them go through his gate, revealing he prevents any more visitors to protect his gate after a rat stole his winter supply. As soon as they sneak through the gate, the enraged Tom goes on a rampage and chases them until he falls into a ditch. They approach the ancient ruins, where they find the Golden Snowflake, but suddenly, Lakota and his men arrive, revealing that Anaconda was really Lakota's minion all along. Lakota kidnaps Judy and Zaku and ejects Vanellope and Molly. With the Golden Snowflake still in the temple, Vanellope refuses to leave Judy behind. Molly tells her the adventure is over, and in their argument, inadvertently calls her "wrong". Hurt, Vanellope declares she was wrong about Molly and storms off into the jungle.

Meanwhile, Woody, Hank, and the Aliens learn from Jim about the expedition and set off to Africa to find Vanellope and Judy. In the ruins, Lakota imprisons Judy and Zaku. When Vanellope arrives, Lakota makes fun of her, and Anaconda sends Vanellope flying down a hill. Vanellope begins to feel discouraged, but Molly arrives and apologizes to Vanellope for calling her "wrong". Vanellope accepts, and they resolve to get the Golden Snowflake the right way. As the final battle breaks out over the Golden Snowflake, Hank, Woody, Jim and the Aliens arrive in their helicopter. Outraged, Lakota throws a torch, inadvertently buring the temple. Judy frees the captive animals as a wildfire spreads all over the temple. Vanellope defeats Lakota and Anaconda by sending them falling into a lava pit. Everyone escapes from the crumbling temple and leaves the jungle with the Golden Snowflake in Vanellope's hands.

Judy apologizes to Molly for not trusting her develops a better relationship with her. Judy writes autobiographies for the Aliens based on their adventure in the jungle.
