Plot

Two years after the events of the first film, Vanellope von Schweetz and Judy Hopps are invited by the police chief Jim Knight to find the long-lost Golden Snowflake. He sends them to be accompanied by his daughter Molly Knight, a jungle explorer, and her pet Zaku, a scarlet macaw. Though Vanellope and Judy seem a bit unimpressed with Molly, they agree to go with her. A mean-spirited poacher named Lakota is plotting to get there first and pollute the jungle. He later reveals his days in which he was one of Molly's friends, but when he grew up, Molly adopted Zaku and ultimately denied him the Golden Snowflake. Enraged, he attacked the animals in the zoo until Molly was able to save the day, which resulted in his hatred of animals.

Lakota chases Vanellope, Judy, Molly, and Zaku to a river, where they almost fall over the edge of the waterfall but are rescued by an anaconda who claims to be a friend of Jim's. Suddenly, the branch snaps beneath Anaconda's weight, and the four fall, though they survive. They later come across Terrible Tom the Giant, who refuses to let them go through his gate, revealing he prevents any more visitors to protect his gate following the destruction of King Eagle's palace during the events of the first film. With Tom distracted by Zaku, they sneak through the gate. Enraged, Tom goes on a rampage and chases them to the ancient ruins, where they find the Golden Snowflake, but suddenly discover that Anaconda was really Lakota's minion all along. Tom kidnaps Judy and ejects Vanellope and Molly, accidentally separating Zaku from them. Molly angrily tells her the adventure is over, but Vanellope refuses to leave Judy behind and orders Molly to leave, vowing to confront Tiger alone.

Vanellope goes back to the ruins to save Judy and defeat Lakota, Tom, and Anaconda. When Lakota prepares to kill Vanellope, Molly and Zaku appear. Vanellope apologizes to Molly for sending her away. With help from Molly, Zaku, Jim, Hank, Woody, and the Aliens, Vanellope frees Judy and the captive monkeys. Lakota attacks Vanellope, injuring Judy's leg in the process. Thinking quickly, Vanellope traps Lakota, Anaconda, and Tom in a ditch. Everyone leaves the jungle with the Golden Snowflake. Judy's leg eventually begins to heal. Vanellope and Judy develop a better relationship with Molly, and Vanellope writes autobiographies based on their adventure in the jungle.
