Plot[]

Abadiah Pennweld (Seann William Scott) was raised by a ruffian father and chained down graceful mother.

He had six older brothers who would constantly abuse him and because of his horrible childhood had his mind fracture and became fixated on violence and the hit band The Doors who his father would always listen to.

Reaching age 18 Abadiah came across 18 year old Julia Goldman (Naomi Watts) who reminded Abadiah of his mother.

After meeting the beautiful and graceful Julia he came to be obsessed with the skinny loving blonde youth Julia and after bringing her out to a woods overpass attacked her violently with a prying weapon channeling on the personality of his father.

After gruesomely murdering Julia he carved into a tree the word "Grace."

3 years following the murder in which all the evidence was washed away by a rainstorm Abadiah is now in a relationship with a beautiful police officer Stephanie Goldman (Kelly Macdonald) who he doesn't know is actually the older sister of Julia who is secretly set on discovering the identity of her sister's killer and exacting her own means of justice.

Abadiah meanwhile has his sights set on their beautiful married boxer accountant neighbour Claire Darling (Virginie Ledoyen) who to him is the personification of his father.
