Digimon: The Fate of Two Worlds is a Japanese-American science fiction fantasy action-adventure film based on the anime of the same name. It is directed by TBA and produced and written by Drew Gars. This is the sequel to Digimon: The Battle for Earth and it is the fourth installment of the live action Digimon film series. It stars Ansel Elgort, Josh Hutcherson, Bella Thorne, Asa Butterfield, Liana Liberato, Robert Sheehan, Ty Sympkins, Joey King, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Garner, Ken Watanabe, Emma Watson, Simon Pegg, Zach Woods, Samuel L. Jackson, Liam Neeson, Craig T. Nelson, Ty Burrell, Leslie Mann, Radha Mitchell, Carla Gugino, Ashley Judd, Jason Bateman, Will Ferrell, Kathryn Hahn, and Patrick Stewart reprising their roles from the previous installments. New people joining the cast in the film include Gary Oldman, John Cena, Keri Russell, TBA, and Stacy Keach.

Plot

After the defeat of Myotismon, things begin to return to normal, everyone's relieved, until one day something even stranger in the sky. It's an upsidedown image of the Digital World, showing that while the DigiDestined have been fighting Myotismon for only a few days, centuries have passed in the Digital World revealing that something is terribly wrong. The DigiDestined decide to head back to the Digital World right away to investigate and sort the problem out. Now they must face an evil that can bring forth more destruction and darkness than even Myotismon.
