Desolation of the Abomination

Rise of the Indominus Nocturnalis is a a story that Crona writes as a memoir about her experiences in her encounter with Scarred Man, whom the first of the ultimate hybrid vampire called Indominus Nocturnalis.

Plot

My name is Crona, and i would tell you why a man, whom heartlessly destroyed my best friend's innocence in my previous story became a being. It was all started, from one night in Transylvania, months before i met her..

I was once, simply a young traveller whom met a young boy around my age named Relich, whom happend to be a vampire. At that moment, we met in a forest near a mysterious castle, and he was not the castle's inhabitant. I though that he simply exhausted, until he entered the frenzy state and bite me. He could have suck my blood dry had he regain his sense. While i still retain my consciousness, i push him away and smack him several times once it happened. He tries to reason with me, only to have both of us caught in a net shot by mysterious men.

When I awoke, I already turned into vampire in a cell that near his. I scolded him for what he did to me, and he tells that he was sorry, and we realized that we are in some sort of laboratory, which is none other than the castle near where i was bitten. During those days, we receives severe mistreatment from the scientist, or what i can also said, experiment from the heretic sorcerers at the same time inside, whom are maguses. We tries to endure it, only to realized that many are not as unfortunate as us. We realized that the purpose was the experimentation to create a powerful vampire with hybrid qualities, more powerful than regular vampires to destroy CrossMage and conquer the world. They injects vampire virus to the guinea pigs as well as human turned vampire children like me, and see their developements. They later tested whether they possesses the vampires' weakness or has negated it altogether. Many died in process, even those whom survived, but displayed unwanted results, quickly disposed. Relich even said that the guinea pigs' relatives as well as those who know them even slaughtered to cover their dirty works and prevent anyone to oppose them, and has ordered to investigate their activity.

After constant mistreatment and the realization that no one would help us as well as true nature of the inhumane experiments, we began to take action to improve the situation and that of the other guinea pigs. And thus, we outsmart the guards to free ourselves, kill them to ensure that none of them interferes, and release the surviving guniea pigs. Although, i also did something that i would later regretted: unleashed a monster named Indominus Nocturnalis, the heretics' perfected secret weapon in form of human-turned vampire that i called Scarred Man. He owed me for release him, and i saw him turned into 6-feet tall dragon-like vampire bat that lay waste the whole castle, along with those heretics within.

Unfortunately, thogh all of us free at last, the rest of the guinea pigs are immediately dying from their wounds. I tried to help them, but they eventually died. We buried them near the castle, before left it for good. Relich promises that he will find a cure for turned us back to normal, something that he dreamed since he unintentionally turned his victims into vampire, the very thing that he regretted. However, it's revealed that he had some relative that survived from the heretics' assassination attempts since his kidnapping, and many of their illegal actions now exposed and the surviving members are later executed. But we had to wait for waiting for turned back to normal, as it would take some time for Relich developed the cure, while i still wanted to resume my journey to travel the world at the same time, perhaps to find someone else that has developed the same cure.

Scarred Man, on the other hand, wanted to go along with me, revealed that in spite of his bitter nature, he did have a kinder side as he was once under the care of the orphanage owner, which killed during the time he was kidnapped. Then again, i already have adoped the way of vampires in their world, and we more like a father and daughter during the journey.

But still, while he indeed kind, i doubt that it would last long....
