Early Life:[]
Desdemona Dawes who never went by her last name also known as, Minister Dez, Main Minister and Main Minister Desdemona was the leader of the Railroad. She first joined in the 2270s and took over as the leader in 2277. In 2288 when Nathan Parkinson found their base then under the Old North Church and she soon took him in and made him one of his agents. In 2289 she tasked Parkinson with going undercover, infiltrating The Institute. Later he saw what they did to a railroad safe house, killing innocent people over a couple synths he lashed out and shot up The Institute SRB resulting in getting banished from the Institute, blowing his cover. With that her plan to Destroy the Institute became impossible and she had him get the Minutemen together and lead them in the Institutes Destruction which he succeeded later in the year. After the Institutes Destruction the Railroad and The Minutemen became official allies.
C.P.G Era:[]
In 2291 The Brotherhood tried to wipe out the Railroad but The Minutemen received word from one of their spies in The Brotherhood and they thwarted the attack On the Railroad
not losing a single person. That night Desdemona detonated charges she had set up a week earlier flooding their HQ and destroying any Sensitive information and making the brotherhood believe they're dead. Parkinson and Preston Garvey and the other Minutemen then escorted Desdemona and the rest of the railroad to Vault 95. from that point on Vault 95 became the new Railroad HQ safe within its walls. On September 3 of that year Parkinson, Piper and the other Minutemen Top Staff met With Desdemona and her top staff and had a meeting in the Overseers Office which was now her office. There they all voted unanimously to Found the Commonwealth Provisional Government and successfully did so.
Desdemona and Nathan Parkinson became its leaders. Days later the Liberty War broke out. In the battle at Cambridge she personally led her forces alongside Parkinson in taking the Police Station. On October of 2292 Desdemona again personally led her forces alongside Parkinson in the process of taking The Prydwen. During The Battle Of Lost Hills while pushing forward to the bunker Desdemona and her forces met with Nathan and his forces and they again fought alongside one-another. After the Liberty War in 2293 Maxon was initially held in the basement of The Castle then Desdemona and Stanley Carrington came in and demanded to Parkinson that he hand Maxon over to them. Despite Piper and Preston's pleas not to he agreed and gave him to her. Desdemona after Maxon was beaten nearly to an inch of his life by her agents she marched him to the Tucker Memorial Bridge, the place of his execution. On the time of his execution as a huge crowd gathered in the area Desdemona Doused Maxon in fuel and burned him alive. Weeks later her and General Parkinson went to Cabot House and confronted Lorenzo Cabot and after threatening to again confine him in a cell He agreed to supply both her and Parkinson with his serum. In return he can keep his freedom and guards in Power Armor were stationed outside his house to protect him. In 2294 Desdemona as the Minister of the Commonwealth Provisional Government moved into the Massachusetts State House. While Parkinson would spend time personally commanding certain missions Desdemona mostly spent her time in her office handling any political matters, radio contact and Distress calls.
Later Life:[]
In 2310 after a unanimous vote to found the New United States Of America the C.P.G was reorganized into the New United States Government and the Railroad was subsequently dissolved. Desdemona then became the Main Minister. By this point her and Parkinson moved their office operations into the United States Capitol Building. Anytime a group of soldiers either in the field or aboard a ship contacted the Capitol Building for things such as updates and reinforcements Desdemona is almost always the person who picks up the radio calls. Desdemona would very rarely ever leave Washington D.C as she mostly handled the political work in the government. By this point she had Admin Guards with her at all times. In 2320 after an N-U.S Minutemen scout team reported the location of Vault 96, a Cryo-Vault in the Appalachia area in West Virginia and plus the state Virginia are rebuilt and ruled by the Appalachia Government based in Charleston West Virginia. After Parkinson Informed her of all the details Desdemona under escort with her Admin Guards all in Mark 8 Hellfire Power Armor personally meets with the Governor in Charleston. After Negotiations He signed over Vault, 96, Vault 76 and Vault 79 and established Diplomatic Relations. Vault 79 now functions as the New United States Embassy.
Present Day:[]
As of 2322 Desdemona Dawes remains the Main Minister Of The New United States. She continues to take Lorenzo's Serum which prolongs her life so she can remain the Main Minister to ensure she is not replaced by a tyrant. She continues to focus on work to continue rebuilding the states they have taken and establishing Law and Order and to better the lives of not only her citizens but anyone else who needs help or is in distress. She keeps the government focused on giving the people their freedom.
Personality:[]
Desdemona Dawes is a kind, dedicated, brave and loving person. Though she does not condone violence or cruel punishment, in a life and death situation she will torture prisoners without hesitation to get necessary information. Desdemona is known to on occasion act out of anger which would sometimes result in things such as torturing and killing prisoners, and the scrapping of the N-USS Columbia after it broke down resulting in the death of lives including a friend of hers. She is dedicated in the continual rebuilding of The United States and freedom of the people and their safety and makes time for little else. She is a no nonsense leader and has zero tolerance for any crime which affects the lives of her citizens. When not working she spends time with The Grand General and any other friends and acquaintances of hers. Long as they're in the area She spends the Holidays, Christmas and New Years with Nate and his family and her friends. Despite all the stress that comes with it, she loves leading her country alongside with Nathan Parkinson. She Considers Nathan like a son to her and would do anything for him and his family. She and Preston Garvey once fell in love but never had any such relationship as they both agreed they need to focus on their work to rebuild America, she never got married or had any kids. She prolongs her life with Lorenzo's Serum out of fear that her successor could turnout to be a tyrant.
