Dave Lee Lib (June 4, 1950 - August 20, 2019) was an American voice actor. He was best known for voicing Mr. Morry and Big Clown from Johnny the Oval.[1]

Early life

Dave Lee Lib was born on June 4, 1950 in New York City, New York, U.S. and lived with his parents, his younger sister Polly (born 1953) and his older brother Ian (born 1946). He was of English and Welsh descent.[2][3]


When Johnny the Oval premiered on May 28, 1986, Lib voiced Johnny the Oval's schoolmaster Mr. Morry and Big Clown.

After Johnny the Oval series concluded in 2010, he retired from voice acting the same year.[4]


Lib died in Huntington Hospital, Pasadena, California of a stroke on Tuesday 20th August 2019. He was 69.[5][6]
