History

In December 21, 1988, DIC Entertainment announced that they are going to launch a channel named DIC Kids Network but they renamed it to ComeDIC for some reason.

Comedic was launched in June 4, 1989 at 2:00pm, with the first program to broadcast being Care Bears, and became one of the most popular former cartoon channels in the America.

In the 1990s, Comedic started to air shows like Super Mario World, Wish Kid, ProStars, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, All-New Dennis the Menace, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog and Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?

On July 23, 2008, after DiC Entertainment and Cookie Jar merged and became a subsidiary of Cookie Jar Entertainment, Comedic began broadcastung reality shows instead of kids shows, the last broadcast of DiC Entertainment's series being Sushi Pack. The first reality series to be broadcast on Comedic was Talking Who You Are!.
