Three troubled detectives Officer Simon Callows (Casey Affleck), Officer Jean Marlow (Naomi Watts) and Officer Markus Decks (Topher Grace) as they race to catch Big Barry and his cronies.

Samantha is out to get Big Barry out delusions of granddeur; suffering from schitzophrenia and delusions she believes Big Barry is Lucifer himself and killing him will bring Jesus and the Lord himself back down to Earth to cleanse the city of evil which she lives in with her alcoholic mother (Barbara Hershey).

Fiyuki works under the instruction of her mother (Michelle Yeoh) who long had been trying to eliminate Big Barry and the Bostwick crime family believing the law could no longer stop them.

Tamara is the wife of the big man himself and has discovered him to be having an affair with a younger woman.

Alexandra is the younger woman and after engaging in a huge punch out melee battle with Tamara aligns with her and both conspire to kill him for his deception and assume control of the crime family together.

The four women are found by a mysterious man with no name (Samuel L. Jackson) who is blind but gifted in the art of battle.

He too has a grudge against the big man but will not divolge the grudge and simply readies them.

The women begin to kill his cronies and bust apart all his major dealing working their way to killing his six generals.

It is revealed in the end however the Instructor is indeed Big Barry's adopted brother named Lionel and that he trained them and found them so as to confirm who they were, and allowing them to kill off his empire was so as to prepare for Big Barry an out of the crime business.

Lionel and Barry then prepare to kill the four women who face off against the two in combat.

The Three officers bust in on the scene and Fiyuki's mother bursts in as well.

Fiyuki's mother is killed by the instructor and Alexandra kills Big Barry before Tamara turns on her and shoots her in the head.

Josh Burton (Alex Russell) Big Barry and Tamara's son comes into frame and as Tamara rushes towards him they are killed by Fiyuki who spears blades towards them.

She is then gunned down by Officer Decks and Callows.

Samantha then faces off against the instructor and finishes him by disembowlement.

Officer Marlow has the chance to arrest Samantha but lets her go and instead saves Callows and Decks as an explosion is about to go off and kill them.

In the end Samantha sees the streets of fire and the blood sun become normal streets and as she wanders covered in blood and a mess being pursued by police she holds her hands out in ecstasy.

The three detectives receive praise from Sheriff Ian Brewhart (Jon Voight) who lost his son to Big Barry and his six generals whilest undercover.

The detectives part ways and return to their respective homes.

It is revealed that Detective Marlow was secretly seeing Sheriff Brewhart's son who had in secret proposed to her with a note and she hadn't got the chance to accept, as she looks out her window she sees Samantha be cuffed on the street and taken away.
