Cillian Darcy is the 2022 American psychological thriller film based on the character of the same name. Produced by Blumhouse Productions and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is serves as the first installment of the Origin series. The film is directed by Lars Klevberg, written by Barbara Curry and Isabelle Nuru Dayne. The film stars Colin Ford as Cillian Darcy, with Chloë Grace Moretz, Emily Alyn Lind, Jon Hamm, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Jane Krakowski, Bryan Cranston, Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, David Lewis, Dean Winters, Judy Greer and Michael Sheen rounding out the ensemble cast. Two million years ago, the genesis of humanity can be traced back to around. However, that is a mere 0.0004% of the earth's 4.6 billion year history. Can these creatures that have existed for a such a short fleeting amount of time trucly be called 'species?'

- Chloë Grace Moretz as Emily Pond: A plain and horribly mistreated schoolgirl who does not have a fun life. She's spent most of her life being treated like garbage by her incestuous stepfather and her abusive mother, her classmates force her to crawl naked around the school and then a wasp stings her in the neck... mutating Emily and granting her a fearsome stinger tail. She is also one of Cillian's allies.
