Caudipteryx (SciiFii)
Caudipteryx californianus (name meaning "Californian tail feather") is a species of small primitive oviraptorid non-avian dinosaur that originally lived in what is now China during the Early Cretaceous and was once extinct, but Caudipteryx californianus has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii and now lives in Cretaceous Park located in Sacramento, California. It is about the size of a wild turkey, about 3 feet tall, 3.3 feet long, and a wingspan of around 2.2 feet across, weighing about the same as the domestic turkey. Caudipteryx californianus is a herbivore that mainly feeds on fruits, nuts, leaves, ferns, and horsetails. It has a similar lifestyle to native modern gamebirds, including the earlier-mentioned turkeys. Due to its behavior and being easy to keep and care for in captivity, SciiFii is planning on selling some Caudipteryx californianus to bird breeders and farm sanctuaries, for people who want to keep Caudipteryx californianus as pets, guard animals to protect gamebirds, and/or to increase diversity in bird-like animals in their free-ranging farms.
