Her debut single, "Love Is The Name" was released on April 7, 2016 by Hollywood and Republic Records. An official remix featuring Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin was also released on the same day. The song was the only official single by Carson to be released under the labels, as a mutual departure occurred later that month. The following month, she signed with Capitol Records. Carson then released the double A-side singles, "[[Ethereal / Confident (Sofia Carson songs)|'''Ethereal''']]" and "[[Ethereal / Confident (Sofia Carson songs)|'''Confident''']]", with "Ethereal" being serviced to mainstream radio immediately after release on August 19, 2016. "Not About You" went on to peak at number 9 on the Hot 100, becoming Carson's second top ten single and number 3 on the US Mainstream Top 40 chart. "Eclipse" was serviced to contemporary hit radio as the album's fifth official single on April 18, 2017. However, it failed to match the success of the previous radio singles.
