When the Goodies decide to take a trip away, their travel is cut short after Skipper and the penguins take the wheel causing a drift with the police. But after a chase the bus which the Goodies are in tips over and falls into a portal, where they happen to be in the real world. Meanwhile when Brendan Mitchell (Himself) is hosting a collectors club, his strict manager tells them that he saw cartoon characters heading towards town and he wants a cartoon character, and if the workers get one, they will win $1200,000000, so they all rush to find one. The Goodies tiardly walk to the nearest gas station to ask someone where they are, but Daphne warns them not to let the real life people see them and must hide from them at all times, but Violet and Lyndsey walk away from the arguement. After a hard day, with nothing. Brendan sits in a resturant, hoping to find a cartoon character as he watches the TV in the bar when the news of the cartoon characters comes on but at the corner of his eye he spots Violet and Lyndsey, he stares at them like he's won the lottery and remembers about the prize he'd win if the captured the characters, so Brendan instals a trap and captures the girls. Brendan then tells the girls about his plan and that he's after the rest of them, his mother Verona (Linda Nolan) shrinks them and locks them each in a shelf, then evily laughs. Meanwhile Melody realises that Violet and Lyndsey are gone and races to tell the others and they all head off to search for them, but Daffy makes his usual rude comments about Lyndsey and refuses to search so he gets left behind. Has he slowly walks passed near some houses, a little girl (Mackenzie Foy) spots him and decides to talk to him, but as she runs out the house, Daffy runs away but the girl tells the frightend duck not to worry and that she's no harm. The girl reveals that her name is Skyler, and she and Daffy get on.
After many hours pass, Violet and Lyndsey worry about their friends and also in the watchful eye of Brendan's white cat, Mossy, as they plan their escape. a news report shows that one of the cartoon characters is the chosen one to be an heir of America. As Brendan arrives, he tells the frightened girls that he knows who the heir is and demands that they tell him where the others are. they refuse...so Brendan seeks out to find them himself.
Meanwhile, Daffy and Skyler are in a garden when Daffy sees into Brendan's house, to find a trapped Violet and Lyndsey, but as soon as Daffy and Skyler break in and free them, Brendan forgets the key to the sheves and heads back only to find Skyler and the toons escaping..he then gives them a chase and manages to capture Skyler - soon after they bump into the others. While in a wooded area, Violet tries to use her ultraviolet power on Brendan, which backfires as it captures the gang instead, after this Verona shows up
