Cascades is an EMD F59PHI built in 1998. He is a streamlined 4 axle passenger engine with a white, green, and brown paint scheme. He often pulls a set of matching passenger cars. His fleet number is 468.
Portrayal in the show[]
Cascades operates the Portland-Eugene express line. He is the fastest engine in the Willamette Valley. Because of this, he is very proud, often stating that he has the most important train in the valley. He thinks that all other trains should make way for him when he's running the express. However, he is still nice to the other engines and is friends with many of the engines in the valley.
