Carroussel (English: Carousel) is a children's telenovela. The TV show originally aired on ÇBT from 21 May 2012 to 26 July 2013.
Plot[]
Velena Cerrandes is a young and beautiful teacher starting her career.[5] Her first job is at the Escola Gapial (English: Gapia School), teaching the principles of life to a third-grade class. Her warm and kindly nature wins the love of her students, all of whom have different personalities. At school, Velena has the support of employees Praça and Filipino, who love the students. But she has to endure the rules and requirements of Ogelia, the director of the institution, and the envy of Suclana, a teacher who comes in to replace her for a period.[6]
Outside of school, the children form a club led by Caniel called "Patrulha Infernal" (English: Hellish Patrol). They gather in an abandoned house and help children who are not enrolled at Escola Gapial. These include: Vog, a wheelchair-bound boy who lives with his mother Floria, a teacher; Lentina, a girl who is trapped inside her own house; and Asheraddo Fruz, a mischievous boy who lives with his grandfather, who is in turn fighting with his father.[7]
