A car is one of the most common & important araises on the planet. Several types include Civilian Cars (like Sedans, SUVs, Sports Cars, etc.) Vans, and even Buses and Trucks.
Birth (0 Months)
A car is born at the factory where they make cars. However, it is not able to do anything until its parts are hooked up and running (engine, transmission, etc.)
Activation (0-3 Months)
A car is able to move and start its life once its engine is turned on for the first time and everything is hooked up and running smoothly. After that it waits to obtain an owner (human) in a dealership, and thus, starts its real life.
Elderly (10-20 years)
A car starts to enter its elderly stage after something goes wrong with the car, usually the check engine light, sensors, transmission problems, brake problems, etc. It can also reach this stage after it achieves 100,000 miles. Usually it happens within 10 to 20 years of a car's life, but it can happen any time after its activation (rare), especially if the car is old, bad, or defective. At this stage, the car is more prone to accidents, which can lead to death.
Death (10-50 years)
The death of a car can happen within 10 years of its life (sometimes less, but this is rare, especially in newer cars), or maybe at 50+ years of its life. Again, depends on the car. At death, the car stops working completely. Occasionally, the owner may die, resulting in the car needing a new owner, but this is not related to the car's death stage.
There are many forms of death. Some are listed here:
- Disease or illness, such as faulty sensors, engine, transmission, etc.
- Accident. In an accident, the car is severely injured, and if it is a head-on collision, the car's engine may be wiped out, resulting in an instant death. The car may survive the accident but die some time later due to the injuries. The remaining junk may be taken to a scrap yard.
- Scrap Yard. The car may still be alive when taken to a scrap yard, or it may already be dead. If a car is alive while at the scrap yard, it won't be for long. A scrap yard is a crematory for cars.
- Water. If a car (more specifically its engine) gets submerged in water the car is severely injured. If water gets in the engine, transmission, or other important areas in the car, the car stops working and as a result, dies. The car being completely submerged in water results in an instant death. However, there have been some cars that survived this. If the car does survive an encounter with water, it is usually taken to a scrap yard to end its life there, due to it being engine-dead (like brain-dead for humans). This may also happen if the car is completely covered in snow for more than 24 hours.
- Heat. If the car is exposed to high temperatures, it may overheat. The car usually survives the overheat if it is within 5-10 years of age. Older than 15, it usually dies.
- Also, if a car is purposely burned (whether from a person, flamethrower, blowtorch, or at the scrap yard) it usually dies under the heat/pressure. Explosions instantly kill the car.
There are other ways of a car dying but obviously, these are only a few.
Cars can range from small automobiles to large trucks. There are old-time automobiles (1920-1980), which are more likely to stop working/die earlier than cars made in 2000+. There are pickup trucks, SUVs, minivans, vans, race cars, buses, RVs, and trucks. And more. Strangely, Sonic2007 found a car from 1920 which still lives, but this is very rare.
Cars can be male or female. Heavier cars such as pickup trucks, trucks, buses, etc. are more likely to be male, whereas smaller cars such as standard cars, convertibles, luxury cars, etc. are more likely to be female. All cars can be male or female, except trucks. Unisex cars are more likely to be cars such as SUVs, minivans, standard cars, etc. Basically, some cars have more masculine/feminine traits than others, which makes them male or female. Cars can't be transgender, gay, or LGBTQ.
