Captain America is a playable character and the main protagonist in Marvel: Civil War and Marvel: Infinity War.
Biography[]
Marvel: Civil War[]
Captain America leads the anti-registration side. Five years into the civil war, Captain America discovers a parallel universe where the civil war had ended much sooner. He teleported that world's Black Panther, Thor, Hawkeye and Hulk to his world but ended up accidentally teleporting their world's version of Captain America and Crossbones as well.
Black Panther, Thor, Hawkeye and Hulk found the Earth-614 Captain America who explained the situation.
After the Earth-616 Captain America was rescued, he convinced the Earth-614 version to recruit the Iron Man from Earth-616.
Ending[]
Following Iron Man's defeat, Steve Rogers learned Schmidt had bequeathed his massive fortune to him, giving him the means to rebuild New York.
Marvel: Infinity War[]
Four years after the civil war, Captain America and his team attempt to piece the world back together. To defeat the Black Order led by Loki, Captain America was forced to create a new team of Avengers that included Scarlet Witch, Gamora and the alternate Black Widow and Hawkeye.
After Thanos took control of Jarvis, Captain America searched for new allies to combat him. This included Spiderman and a reformed Hulk. Captain America sent Banner to Asgard to gain Thor's assistance.
Desperate to stop Thanos, Captain America released Iron Man custody and formed an alliance with the pro-registration side.
Captain America and War Machine were captured by Thanos but Captain America was rescued by Iron Man. Together they defeated a brainwashed Falcon, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Doctor Strange.
After Thanos' defeat, the Avengers were divided over Thanos. Captain America wanted to spare him and Iron Man wanted to kill him. Spiderman, Hulk and War Machine took Captain America's side. In the resulting battle, Captain America defeated Thor, Doctor Doom and Black Panther, who had taken Iron Man's side before fighting Iron Man himself.
- If Iron Man wins, he uses the Mind Stone to brainwash Captain America and threatens to do the same with War Machine.
- If Captain America wins, he re-imprisons Iron Man. He creates a new Avengers with his allies and offers War Machine membership.
Ending[]
Ultron's attack left the world devastated. Captain America headed up the emergency response, leaving the Avengers in Pietro Maximoff and Logan's hands who train a new generation of superheroes. Behind the scenes Captain America is preparing for Iron Man's return.
