Camel hare (SciiFii)

The camel hare (Camelagus deserticus) is a species of large deer-sized lagomorph that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii and introduced throughout the deserts of Asia to help boost biodiversity. The camel hare is adapt to life in the desert thanks to its fat on its head to store fat in case of food and/or water shortages, as well as long eyelashes to keep sand out of its eyes. The camel hare is purely herbivorous and it feeds primarily on a wide range of desert-adapted plants. The lifestyles and lifecycles of the camel hare is almost identical to those of the South American guanacos. The conservation status of the camel hare is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the camel hare's wide range, and its tolerance to most of human activities, including being able to adapt to life in parts of cities and suburbs.
