Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a 2024 Canadian/American animated action film directed and executive produced by Jesse Spade and written by Spade and Brian Bloom. Produced by Activision, Digic Pictures and distributed by Sony Pictures, the film is the sequel to the 2022 film Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The film features an ensemble cast featuring Barry Sloane, Elliot Knight, Neil Ellice, Samuel Roukin, Tom Hardy, Alexandra LeMosle, Gary Oldman, Mads Mikkelsen, Dimitry Rozental, Michael Benyaer, Lars Mikkelsen, Gene Farber, Josh Hartnett, John David Washington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Bradley Cooper, Rya Kihlstedt and Stefan Kapičić. The film follows Task Force 141 dealing with a new threat and an old foe of Jonathan "John" Price.
The film was released on December 20th, 2024. It is the sixth film directed by Jesse Spade and the fourth he had written, and his second collaboration with Brian Bloom. It is also Jesse Spade's second production with Sony Pictures, Digic Pictures and Activision. The film is not an adaption of the 2023 video game of the same name and is considered standalone.
Prior to March 2025, digital purchases of the film on the Xbox Store or PlayStation Store included the Gary "Roach" Sanderson operator bundle for use in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III video game.

At the start of the marketing campaign for the film, Activision would release a teaser titled Aftermath on November 8th, 2024. On November 15th, Sony Pictures would release a teaser titled Condemnation, and on November 22nd, director Jesse Spade would release the teaser Retaliation on his Instagram. On December 6th, another trailer would be released titled The Four Horsemen that retells the history of prominent figures in the Ultranationalist political faction. The official trailer was released on December 16th, five days before the film's theatrical release.

The film's soundtrack was composed by Sarah Schachner, whom previously composed the soundtracks for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The film also features several songs from other artists that weren't released on the soundtrack.
