Bram Stoker's Dracula is an upcoming monster horror film, a remake of 1931 film Dracula, though taking more elements from Bram Stoker's original novel Dracula.

Guillermo del Toro, who is also directing the remake The Invisible Man, was signed on to direct the film. Max von Sydow, veteran Swedish actor known from such films as The Seventh Seal and Flash Gordon, was the first to be announced in the film, as the vampire hunter Gabriel Van Helsing. After thorough casting for the title role, Spanish actor Javier Bardem was cast as Dracula. del Toro wanted a young but well-known actor as Jonathan Harker, and ultimately cast Jamie Bell, but he had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. The director's second choice was Andrew Garfield, who was cast as Bell's replacement.
