Bobik Platz is a AAA game development studio that specializes on casual games. It was founded in Warsaw, Poland, in 2016 shortly after he left the Sphere Matchers community as a forum owner.
History[]
Bobik himself had been a creator and owner of Sphere Matchers, a forum dedicated to sphere-matching games, Luxor Mod 2016, and Galactic Space Journey. After leaving Sphere Matchers forum and to the extent Piste Gamez forums in 2016, he formed a video game company named after himself, specialized for modernized casual games for PC and consoles.
In 2017, Bobik Platz partnered with 10tons Ltd. to develop a Luxor-style game from scratch with the same name as the forum he created. On the same year, Bobik Platz started development of a free-to-play game that would become SM Billiards by a different development team of this same company.
In 2022, Bobik Platz announced that Sphere Matchers and future games will be published by Electronic Arts under EA Originals label, to ensures good quality while being published by EA as it lets the developer cook without any interference and demands from the publisher.
