Black Hole is a 2020 American coming-of-age teen body horror film directed by David Fincher and written by Neil Gaiman and Scott Lobdell. The film is based on the infamous 2005 graphic novel of the same name by Charles Burns.

The film is also produced by Jason Blum and Brad Pitt.

The film stars Logan Miller, Joey King, Bailee Madison, Alex Wolff, Geena Davis, David Harbour, Sabrina Carpenter, Daniel Zovatto, Graham Phillips, Micheal Bowen, Mason Cook and Shannon Purser.

The film takes place in Seattle in the 1970's where teenagers are suffering from a mysterious STD called "The Bug" which gives the teens grotesque mutations.

The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures, Plan B Productions and Blumhouse Productions. The film was released on November 13, 2020 to critical acclaim from critics and fans of the book praising the performances as well as the story's mature themes such as sexual awakening, adolescence and transition into adulthood.

As a result, the film won an Academy Award for Best Picture and other awards.
