Bigfoot

A lone male bigfoot in a bamboo forest of Florida.

Bigfoot (Gigantopithecus americanum) is one of the two modern-day descendants of the extinct Gigantopethicus (a gigantic relative of orangutans), aside from it's Himalayan cousin, the yeti. They resemble their mythical ape-like counterpart, the ape-like version of a real Sasquatch, unlike their ancestors. They mainly walk on all fours like most other non-sapient ape species, but can rarely walk upright and walk like humans and other sapient apes. They lives in forests of the United States, Mexico, and southern Canada. Its predators are wolves, Arctic cats, cougars, grizzly bears, American hyenas, American killer dylanuses, sea serpents, northern eagle hawks, and vulturine bears (who feed on carcasses). They have a similar niche to gorillas, sasquatches, kakamoras, elephants, and Madagascar giant dylanuses. They are omnivores that feed on the same food as humans, bears, and other omnivores. They are not an endangered species, unlike the yeti.
