Mariah Milano (born Jeanette Benardello; December 31, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York, United States) is an American actress and model. She is best known for portrayal as Danielle Carmen in The Fast and the Furious franchise.

Early life

Benardello was born to a mother who hailed from Sicily, Italy and her father, American. She first developed an interest in working in the adult entertainment industry after encountering a girl she knew from junior high school at a nail salon who told Benardello she was on her way to shoot a hardcore film. However, she was then noticed by Varsity Blues director Brian Robbins. At first, Benardello didn't want any part in the film and television industry, but after seeing her popularity rise, she stuck with her career in acting. To make her co-stars remember her name, she adopted the stage name, Mariah Milano.

Also the same year, she made her voice role in the winter animated blockbuster Hot Wheels: The First Movie. Milano attained action hero stardom with two box office hits, the street racing action film The Fast and the Furious (2001), and S.W.A.T. (2003). She starred in the box office failure Into the Blue (2005).

Personal life

Milano announced that she would begin hosting her own web series, Dinner with Mariah, which debuted on YouTube on March 6, 2015.

She is friends with Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. Milano posted a tribute video on her channel to her late Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker who died on November 30, 2013.
