Best! Summer! Ever! (originally titled Code: School Year) is a 2025 American live-action/animated family comedy film directed by Akiva Schaffer, Andy Fickman, and Brian Levant, produced by David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman, and Robert Zemeckis, and written by Tom Shadyac.
It stars Tom Holland, Joel Courtney, Elle Fanning, Erica Mendez, Brady Noon, Joshua Rush, Seth Green, and Toby Huss, and is about seven Harvard University students setting out on various activities during summer break, while their strict principal wants to make summer break non-existent.
The film is distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing and produced by Columbia Pictures, Mandeville Films, and ImageMovers with the visual effects and animation provided by Moving Picture Company and Sony Pictures Imageworks.
It was released in theaters on June 3, 2025 and received mixed reviews.
