The Beringian gray wolf (Canis lupus jaurens) is a subspecies of gray wolf that originally inhabited in what is now modern-day Alaska, Yukon, and northern Wyoming during the Late Pleistocene and was once extinct, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii and introduced to Alaska and Canada to help boost biodiversity. Their diet consists of a wide range of prey animals, mainly large animals such as horse and steppe bison, and also on caribou, mammoth, and shrub-oxen. The conservation status of the Beringian wolf is Vulnerable due to some habitat loss and historic poaching, however, the conservationists have worked their best in protecting this subspecies, allowing this subspecies to make a comeback.
