Batman: Bad Blood

Batman: Bad Blood (2020) is an 2020 Live-action adventure, drama, comedic and suspenseful comic book film and is the sequel to both Teen Titans (2020) and the long awaited solo Batman film to be included in the DC Extended Universe. BY this point, the Multiple rumors about Ben Affleck stepping down from portraying Batman all together had all been dropped as it was clear he intended to stay behind for the character. To make matters more exciting, he had also been seen producing the next Batman film behind the scene alongside Zack Synder; the film had begun principal photography shortly around the time “Batman: Under The Red Hood” had hit theaters......

.....which meant that an mid 2020 release was sure to happen.

The film is written and directed by Matt Reeves, produced by Zack Snyder and Ben Affleck, distributed by both Warner Bros., and D.C Entertainment and features most of the cast from the previous Batman flick.

Plot

After an opening of WB Legends and DC it opens on another night of Gotham City cutting from traffic civilians walking

And the bat signal shinning from the GCPD where Commissioner James Gordon (JK Simmons) stood there arms crossed waiting till one of his officers Rene Montoya (Angela Basset) came out with two cups of Star Bucks coffee

(The Dark Knight reference)

Rene: Ever attending to see your daughter again Commissioner.

Gordon: I thought you had to go look after your mother Montoya.

Rene: Checked back into the hospital.

Gordon: I'm sorry.

Rene: So he hasn't shown up?

Gordon: He often doesn't. But I like reminding everyone that he's out there.

Rene: Why wouldn't he come?

Gordon: Hopefully....because he's busy.

At a warehouse a group of Gotham's most wanted was carrying out crates of weapons curtesy of the Red Hood's militia

Firefly Electriccusioner even Killer Croc were part of it

Electriccusioner: Boy that Hood fellow left behind a lot of cool stuff.

Firefly: Too bad he made bale before he can deliver to the big guy's contact across the ocean.

Electriccusioner: Who is this contact of his

Firefly: He wouldn't say. Says they're higher people or more like

Killer Croc: Humph! Croc higher than both of you.

Electriccusioner: Tell me again why we brought lizard boy again?

Before he could answer they heard pounding noises and men screaming Firefly armed his jet pack flying over to see all the men beaten down and....

….Spotted a familiar batterang on the wall realizing who was here

Firefly: Batman....

Well it ain't the tooth fairy.

That voice made him turn around seeing a shadow of a giant bat

Firefly shot his flamethrower only to be knocked down from behind by....

….Batman!!! (Ben Affleck)

Firefly stood shooting his flamethrower again only for Batman to run behind crates

Wasn't long till Electriccusionor and Killer Croc to arrive in the room

Firefly: GET THE REST OF THE WEAPONS OUT OF HERE!!! BATMAN'S HERE!!!

Firefly looked up to see Batman hold out his cape like wings and knocks him down

He then turns to the other two

Batman: Lester Pechinskie. Waylon Jones. This operation looks too smart for you two. Who are you working for?

Electriccusioner: We're not here to talk. We're here to kick your ass!

Batman: This is your last chance!

Electriccusioner armed his gloves throwing shocking punches but Batman knocked him down with one kick

Killer Croc charged at him but Batman threw smoke pellets blinding him and kicked down pinning him down

Batman: Your boss. Who is he?!

Killer Croc: Only boss of me is me!

Batman: *Punches* You want teeth?! I want answers!

The answer is always infront of you....I fear.

Batman recognized that voice he turns to see.....

Batman: Bane.

A 6 ft tall 287 pound Hulking Beast of a man steps through the depths of the shadows despite wearing all black (Black boots black gloves black military pants black jacket) You couldn't even be able to tell if someone was there or not The only thing that you'd be able to tell that someone was only a white marking over the mask of this man to show his face

Bane (Brock Lesnar) Apparently didn't look all that big this time around considering what happened the LAST TIME Bruce came across him

The last time they met was the day he snapped and shattered his back

The menacing figure that once sparked fear in all of Gotham was out-smarted by someone with mental and physical strength far beyond his comprehension.....

…...and based on how Bruce kept twitching his eyes under the cowl it was clear he didn't history to repeat itself

Bane: Speak of the devil....and he shall appear.

Batman: I must be very special, then.

Bane: How's your back?

Batman: Never better.

He proceeds to throw down a smoke bomb beneath him as the density level from the smoke clears over the entire room seemingly covering Firefly Electrocutioner and Croc in the entire blanket of smoke.....

….all except for Bane

He chuckles at the sight of Batman seemingly hiding....

…..only to be taken aback by sonic pulse generators (The ones from BvS) from both sides of him

As the extensive humming effect drones over his ears and he falls down to a knee it keeps him grounded for at least a full minute before he slowly edges himself upwards.....

…..and crushes both pulse generators by smashing one into the other

But then there's the issue of watching your back at all times cause Batman was quick to re-appear out of nowhere and clock Bane across the head as an electric impulse

And it seems like he had taken Electrocutioner's shock gloves as well.

He breathes in and out heavily as Bane just looks at him blankly Before long he....does something odd

He slowly un-zips his jacket going by the metal across his zipper.....and once he throws it aside.....

….it shows a systematic mechanism on his back which shows each and every single tube of venom from a different position pumped into his arms.....

…..his legs....

….and into his brain

Nothing the Cape Crusader hasn't handled before

Bane: May you find the peace in death that you didn't had in life.

Batman: I'm not looking for peace.

As the Dark Knight warmed up his shock gloves....

….Bane just roars out loud and charges at him

He charged at him Batman had to dive aside to avoid his attack

Yet again

And again

And AGAIN

Till Batman found an opening to rip one of his tubes off it weakened Bane a bit but not enough

He swung enough punches to pop Batman's head off but dodging every one Batman uppercut Bane's jaw

Soon GCPD choppers happen to turn up above the roof

This is the Gotham city police department! Put your hands over your head at once and knees to the ground.

Bane: Do you police ever mind your own business?!

Bane's men threw him a bazooka he caught it and aimed

Batman: NO!

He punched Bane and the rocket barely missed the chopper flying out to the harassing

Bane then grabbed his neck and threw him towards the edge of a ledge

Bane then held up a trigger

Bane: Rest well....Batman.

Batman looked on with widen eyes and Bane presses it causing the whole warehouse to blow up

Gordon on the chopper watched in horror as the place Batman was in went up in flames

Along with a mystery caped female figure hiding at the bay

Not knowing what to say Gordon sat there staring at the place burning down as the female figure watched on

Cutting to two weeks later in West Virginia a male victor in a brown jacket and cap hat walked across a busy street with a walking signal

With sirens being echoed the figures came across a news paper holding and one article caught his attention

It was a Daily Planet article on Gotham news reading:

"Batman: Dead or Alive"

The camera rotated to his face revealing.....

…..Jason Todd (Toby Maguire)

His face frowned

Later he came back in his apartment dropping his back pack and quickly turned on the tv on the dresser and switched to the Gotham tv news on channel 126

Vicki Vale (Cameron Dietz) on tv: With criminals running a muck and Gotham police having their hands full all we know is that we need him now more than ever. But only one question remains. Will there be hope for Gotham without Batman?

Jason: *Turns it off* Still full of flawless questions aren't you Vale?

Jason opened his bedroom closet open a trunk

Cutting to with Jason holding a back pack on his shoulder walking out the door shutting it

Having to carry both his bookbags on his back with the straps over both of his shoulders simultaneously would've given off the indication that whatever was in those bags must've weighed about a total of what 50 pounds?

Slamming both bags down to the floor his expression eroded quickly to some sentiment of both rage and anger as he twitched his neck to the side

He technically had no real to be pissed at the moment

But then again if anybody knew what Jason had to go through in life if anyone knew what kind of suffering he had to experience.....you could tell why he has plenty to be ticked off about

Taking ahold of both bags and unzipping them with car....

….he takes a look at his arsenal packed in there

GUNS

LOTS of guns

Ever since the fallen Boy Wonder's come back from the grave he's since then taken the mantle of a new identity in an attempt to right the wrongs that has been committed against him

People would now know him.....as the Red Hood

Unfortunately his attempts to make a second impression on Gotham by attending to kill both Joker and Batman didn't go all as plan and has been a wanted fugitive and laying low ever since....

…..waiting for the day that either Batman or the Joker disappeared so he could regain control and find a way to clear his name

Funny how things turned so tragic for young Jason Todd when things seemed to be going so well for him

As he reached down in one of his bags and pulled out two of his favorite pistols he spun them around clockwise showing off a little bit

However that's where the "Fun" ends for Jason at the moment as this strange yet familiar sense of notion came over him and he felt the obvious vibe there is whenever someone is staring down your neck

And as it appeared as he whipped around aiming both his pistols behind him....

….his hunch was correct

There was in fact somebody watching him

Problem is it wasn't anybody he was familiar with

The woman was about an INCH taller than him with this nasty smirk plastered over her face as if she was looking for trouble....especially since she had a crossbow in her hand But that couldn't be further from the truth....

….not for Helena Bertinelli (Alicia Vikander)

Jason: Oh....kay. Hehehe. This is the third break in in my House since last week. How do y'all keep getting in?

Helena: I'm an explorer by nature and may I remind you, you keeping leaving your DOOR OPEN

Jason: Yeah well....my door's just been mostly closed to others

Helena: Least till....a bat's wings have been clipped?

Jason looked at her suddenly with a frowned face

Jason: Who are you?

Helena:....A friend.

Jason: Well right now I'm not looking for a friend.

Helena: Then is it.....a father figure?

~Silence~

Jason: Something like that.

Cutting to Wayne Manor in the batcave bats flew out of the opening above the camera narrowing down to Alfred on the bat-computer in contact.....with a concern friend

He's been gone for two weeks Al. Maybe you should let us send in the League.

Alfred (Jeremy Irons): As much as I would appreciate that....we can't afford overrun in Gotham unless it's really in need.

How have you been covering his social do's?

Alfred: Lucius is covering as much as he can at Wayne Enterprises. For how long I don't know how long I don't know how long he can keep it up. But knowing Master Bruce he would obviously put more in Lucius than he can normally bloody give him.

Just keep us updated if anything comes up Al. Superman out.

Soon as the transmission cuts off Alfred leaned back in worry on the chair till....

Watch for the skies Superman.

Startled Alfred looked up seeing Dick (Zach Efforn) on the rail on the balcony

Alfred: Master Dick. It's bad manors to sneak up on a person like that

Dick: Sneaking up on people is kinda what we do around here Alfred

He looked at him seriously

Dick: Hey just joking.

Alfred: We are not amused.

Dick: Yeah well I'm not really in an infested mood either. How long has he been gone?

Alfred: Two weeks. One day. And 15 hours.

Dick: Wouldn't be the first time. Not since his....sneak out with Selina 4 years ago.

Alfred: But he's never been gone this long without notifying me in some way. Last night the signal was up for an hour. Third time this week. And if the police are aware of his absences so are the criminals. Even the League are asking questions.

Dick: Yeah so are the Titans. Victor told me at the tower.

Alfred: Yet there's already a 10% a criminal activities

Dick then walked over to the suits noticing there were some....

….Catwoman suits since Selina moved in after the Red Hood events (Batman: Under the Red Hood)

And Dick stood infront of one of the latest bat suits

Alfred: If Batman doesn't return soon.

Dick: I know...all bloody hell's gonna break loose.

He stared at the bat-suit clutching a fist

Dick: Even when you disappear I can never get away from you Bruce.

He sighs heavily as he once again embraces the sight of one the earliest designs for the Bat-suits (Ones like from Arkham Asylum and City) And to think....

….Dick had no intentions on being Batman ever in his career as Nightwing He never had ANY intentions on living in Bruce's shadow again for it reminded him of that complicated side of him that would tend to frustrate him endlessly.

But who else was going to protect Gotham if the Batman really is said to be dead?

This left Dick with one viable option....and trust me when I tell you.....he didn't like it

Dick: *Sighs* Can't believe you're making me do this man.

As he once again stares down at the suit looking in the blank eye sockets of the cowl and contemplating whether or not he was going to do what he THOUGHT he was going do....

…..things were uhh….getting a little peculiar on the other side of the tresspool

Specifically at Al's Diner....

….where both Helena and Jason were sitting across from one another sipping down caffeine and coffee while each other these awkwardly vague looks. You can tell that the other had something to hide

Jason practically had no issues with poking the beer

Jason: So I take it then you decided to live dangerously....like your father?

Having him mention her father made Helena's eyes twitch at the very glimmer of it Whether or not she took it personally was up to her and her alone But wasn't the time

Yet that didn't stop her from answering back

Helena: For starters....

She mildly placed her cup down while still gripping the handle

Helena:....as I recall I picked up the art of dangerous living from my father....at too young of an age at too late of a time

Any of that sound familiar?

Jason: That makes two of us then.....well THREE if you count....

Before he could finish she suddenly snaps as she shatters the coffee cup with her bare hand and the glass shattered all over the table It barely made Jason move an eye at the sight despite others possibly being endangered by that selfish action

Only thing is....they were the only ones in the diner. So they were lucky

After recovering from that outburst Helena calmed herself down....and expressed what she was thinking about

Helena: Listen....I've been trying to find out something....ANYTHING....about our mystery man....about....you know

Jason: And?

Helena: It's like he doesn't even exist.

Jason: What about his friends?

Helena: Aren't YOU one of them?

He rolls his eyes at the comment and groans

Jason: Ok.....that's cutting it too far. Who said anything about me or him ever being friends? A good chunk of his friends who don't make it vanish without a trace.....You're hearing that from one of the lucky ones ok?

Helena: But how lucky where you when the Joker slipped from your hands?

Jason was quick to bolt from out of his seat throwing his glass of cappuccino across the room as it shattered behind the counter

Jason: That maniac deserved to burn in hell for what he did to me....and the other innocent people he murdered in cold blood.....But HE deserved it just as much for leaving me to rot in that hellhole for 365 days! You ever get that notion when you realize the ones they're supposed to protect are the ones that normally get their shit scraped around through the depths of this stinking city. The feeling that nobody gives a damn when it's too little too late? So how am I supposed to care if he's never there for me when I needed him?

Rather aggressive animosity growing out of Jason. His anger issues haven't gotten too better since his defeat months ago. But he wasn't the early one as Helena was quick to also bolt up out her seat and stare at Jason's bleak demeaning irritated eyes The way he spoke about family letting you down reminded Helena of her family LONG ago....and she didn't like to remember it

Two hotheads in the wrong place at the wrong time....that's set to be a nuclear bomber waiting to go off

Helena: DON'T.....get testy on me boy.

Jason: Then DON'T test my patience girl.

~Silence~

Helena: I-I watched that place blow apart.

That made the situation more complicated in Jason's case which this revealed she was the mystery female figure outside the warehouse

Helena: I mean....I know it looked like no one could've escaped but....*Sighs*….I keep wondering if there was SOMETHING.....ANYTHING I could've done to prevent it.

Jason: Are you even sure? This is BATMAN we're talking about.

Helena: No....I'm not really sure.

She makes the odd choice of....holding out her hand to him

Helena:....which is why I need your help with this.

Jason sat there in silent till....

Jason:....alright. You want my help? You got it. On one condition.

Helena: Name it.

Jason: You fallow my lead. Cause when it comes to Batman....you never find him without someone who really knows him.

Helena: Knows him? Like you know his identity?

Jason: Before that insane clown tortured me to hell....Br---Batamn….raised me after my own old man went nuts....and since then....I looked up to him as a real father. But....I forgot all that when....when I thought he left.

Helena: If you hate the Joker so much? Why believe what he told you about Batman?

Jason: *Sighs* I don't know....and trust me I don't really know why I came back to this God forsaken city. I've hated it since he did THIS to me. *Points at the J brand mark onf his face* But I guess....

Helena: You still look up to him.

Jason: Maybe I do....but I have to be sure myself if he's really dead or alive...

Helena: MY GOD!!

That outburst made Jason jump out of his seat and he looked out the window seeing....

…..the Batmobile riding from avenue towards Bleak Island

Jason was more in shock than Helena in thought it could be Bruce as always driving that familiar car from his childhood

But Jason did say he was there to be sure and he attend to keep that promise to himself

Cutting to across the ocean from Gotham and Metropolis lied that sacred temple of....

...The League of Assassins

Bruce woke up in some room with a headache shirtless and just in his bat tight and his boots

Bruce: Wha--where am I?

The doors across the room opened made Bruce stand suddenly the camera pointed down as high heal boots walked in rotating it up to reveal....

….Talia Al Ghul (Angelina Jolie)

Bruce: Talia?

Talia: Hello my love. I hope you had a lovely nap after your trip.

This turned out to be....a rather awkward moment....

Cutting to later Bruce was dressed in ninja gear as Talia was in a red dress and high heels pouring shots

(Son of Batman reference)

Talia: Would you like a drink?

Bruce: Last time that didn't go so well.

Talia: Oh you're right. If I remember correctly I put a little something in your beverage.

Bruce: Same way I remember it.

Talia: It made you romantic.

Bruce: IT made my do what you wanted.

Talia: But was it all bad beloved?

She moved close to him holding her leg up around him

(Ahem....)

Bruce: Maybe not. Wasn't ALL too bad.

Talia: Then you remember that night we spent in Metropolis?

Bruce: Some of it.

Talia: The best parts?

Either her seduction to Bruce was getting annoying or no where but either way Bruce moved her away from him

Bruce: Talia. What'd you want?

Talia turned away faced down and arms folded and spoke

Talia: My father....he's dead.

Bruce: Ra's?

Talia: How many fathers do I have?!

Bruce: Sorry. He always seemed....

Talia: Like you? Indestructible?

Bruce: You don't seem all broken up about Ra's death.

Talia's there is no time for mourning. Assassins plan to take over my father's organization. They are lead by a man who father believed could be his successor. Until he became aware of you.

Bruce: Bane....is that why he was in Gotham?

Talia: Yes. And that's why Bane tends to kill us.

That was the single thought that had been perforating in Bruce's mind the second he heard it He knew something about Talia's story smelled incredibly fishy considering their past history as both allies.....

….and lovers.

But to Bruce now.....EX's.

And clearly to Talia STILL lovers

But then again that's where those mental health issues and doses of paranoia come into play. Even when he's in the worst of situations he still wants to believe there's way out

Sometimes there is

But other times....not so much

And this would have to be one of them

Bruce: You out of all people know...that I can handle him in my spare time.

Talia: Was that before or after you had your spine shattered and misplaced?

Bruce: Touching the wrong nerve Talia. Nothing like this ever stopped me before. You're no exception.

Talia: Then what would you have me do?

He takes time approaching her making sure he got a good look at her eyes as they fired with passion and desire for him

Bruce: I need to know if I can truly regain your trust again. Bane is no slouch with or without venom and the longer he lingers on it the more it'll damage his brain. It could kill him.

Talia: I will see about that beloved.

It seemed be official then. Regardless of what Talia was planning ahead for him or Bane she at least was moving with a purpose in mind. It seemed as if she wanted to regain Bruce's trust after the countless of times it might've went so HORRIBLY wrong in the past

However Talia has known Bruce long enough to know that he wouldn't submit to her beliefs easily if not at all. So it only seemed fair that she'd have to do things the complicated way

After gaining some measurable distance away from him she held onto an earpiece in her left and held it up to her for she was already in contact with someone from the other side

Will he go with it?

Talia: He always makes it complicated on his behalf. That's all on him though....for he leaves me no choice

She looks back at the man

Talia: We must sway his sense of direction....and we must dig deeper. We'll push past the trauma....to the child he was before he lost his....precious parents. Then we'll break him. And then....he'll be ours.

For what distinct purpose?

Once again looking back at Bruce from a measurable distance away he wouldn't be able to tell what she was thinking. Or would he.....

….because he caught a brief second of her smirking before of her smirking before she turns back around

You know what saying to come at a hero what's important to them? That's where we are right now.

Talia: I'll have backup headed your way Make sure when he arrives....that he BRAKES.....the cat.

Cutting back to the heart of Gotham on Founders Island at a bar Selina Kyle (Rachel Weiz) was at the booth with her former apartment roommate Holly (Jennifer Tilly and the only subject that came to mind was....

Holly: So he's been gone for two weeks?

Selina: Alfred said they never found a body. But with no word in two weeks and with Firefly and Electricuccioner running loose with that man-crocodile and Bruce vanishing on the same night is too full of quincedence.

Holly: I always knew you two had a....connection.

Selina: *Chuckles* It started out that I didn't give a damn about anyone....but Bruce kept surprising me on how I really felt about things each time we crossed paths. As both Batman and Catwoman and Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle I guess things turned out differently.

Holly: There were times you wanted to kill him from time to time.

Selina: He pissed me off a lot back then. Yeah. But when both identities got unmasked it lead us down a different path. On the positive side it brought up a thrill. And I don't mean the sleepovers. I mean the chases.

Holly: You did surprised me a lot. Plus I always thought you wanted to run Gotham freely.

Selina: Corruption and innocent people suffering was not what I had in mind. I mean I had a black heart but not heartless unlike the Joker.

Holly: So what will you do?

Selina: First. I need to find Firefly and the other two. Whoever they're working for may know--

Before she could finish that statement some men in sun glasses and black suits (Kinda like men in black) walked in the bar who looked pretty dark and more than what they seemed

From her....basic cat instincts Selina knew something wasn't right about them

They were talking to the bar tender and he....pointed at where Selina was sitting which made her raise an eyebrow

Holly: What's going on?

Selina: You need to get out of here. Now.

Holly: Me?

Three of the men approached their area and....

...pulled out their guns from their jackets

Selina: GO!

They fired and Selina threw over the booth table to cover her and Holly to shield them from the bullets

Selina: I told you to get out of here!

Holly: And leave you with the Matrix cult? No way!

Selina: JUST GO!

Selina pulled up her skirt up revealing she had her whip with her

She swung it disarming the three wiping the guns out of their hands

Selina jumped over the fallen table fighting off the men as Holly sat behind it left with two choices seeing an exit infront of her.....

….help her longest....and ONLY friend

Selina swung her whip tripping two of them and tying the third man's neck pulling him down

The fourth man by the bar pulling his gun at Selina Holly was the only one who saw him Selina was too distracted on beating up the other guys

Holly knew she was left one choice

In slow mode she ran as the fourth man fired and Holly jumped in the way....the bullet went straight through her head

Selina turned her head yelling out in no audio

She ran towards her as the screen went back to normal mode

Selina: *Holds her head up* Holly no.....

It was too far gone.....the bullet punchered too deep in Holly's head....she was gone....

Selina's expression went from emotion to anger as the fourth man loaded his gun and pointed at Selina only.....

….to get his ass kicked by an angry cat

She grabbed his hand with the gun and TWISTED it from behind the man yelled an agony as Selina slammed him on the bar

Selina: WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!?! WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?!?!?!?!?!

Man: I can't tell you....they'd kill me!

Selina Kill you?! Son of a bitch! *Slams him on glass* I'LL KILL YOU IF DON'T! WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?!?!?!?!

Man: B--Bane.....

The anger that had exploded from within Selina was COMPLETELY unbearable to hold back The fact that the same maniac who broke her lovers back was just responsible for the death of her oldest friend elevated things to a new level

She sighs heavily trying her hardest not to let the pain of loss blind her into doing something that she'd regret. But that didn't stop her from grabbing the henchmen and bouncing his head off the bar counter Before long she had her whip wrapped tightly around his neck with a lot of pressure behind the helm before slamming him into the wall near a window

Selina: Tell me where his!

Man: Y-you'll ne-never find him....

Selina: Oh THAT'S how it's gonna be now? I'm not above clawing the names out of you!

Sucks she didn't get the chance cause the next thing you know somebody grabs Selina through the window and pulls her out before throwing her and slamming her up against a taxi cab and causing the car alarm to go off

Funny how she was quick to get back on her feet immediately after that because she immediately gets sucker-punched straight across the face and after a few seconds of being woozy she feels herself being lifted up on its shoulders....

...and then gets F5'ed through the roof of the taxi cab

Manhandled and humiliated in such a quick fashion left Selina dazed and unsure of where she was because if you think about it taking an F5 isn't anything you can just brush off.

As she slithers and crawls her way out of the dented taxi car she coughs heavily as she struggles to get back to her feet

The sight she see's next....really pisses her off as she growls and hisses at sight of....

….Bane.

Bane: Of all the methods useful against the Batman....this will be one of my most favorite

Selina: Bane! You murdering walking alp!

She attacked like a panther to it's prey but Bane just held his hands countering the punches and he grabbed her by the head lifting her up

Bane: Your claws are clipped kitten.

Selina: Why?! Why want to kill me? Don't you know you got MY FRIEND KILLED?!?!?!?!

Bane: An unfortunate casualty. You are only business.

Selina: For what?!

Bane: For worth.

He was about to make a movie till....

….a battering cut one of his tubes off making him drop Selina they both looked up to see.....

…..Batman?!?!?!?!?!

Batman II (Dick): You're worth the brawns Bane.

Selina: *Whispers* Bruce...??

Bane: How could you have escaped?!?!?!

Batman II: Let's just say it's my turn to do the braking

He jumped down brawling off Bane as Selina went back in to get her whip she looked down at her dead friend again making a promise to her her sacrifice would not be for nothing

Two more of Bane's men came from behind her and about to shoot her....

….there were gunfire shots....

….only THEY were shot....

….Selina turned her head and the men dropped dead revealing from behind them.....

….Red Hood

Selina: Jason....?? You're alive?

Red Hood: Guess I have more lives than a Black Cat.

Selina: Hey watch it.

Outside the new Batman and Bane brawled with swinging fists and kicks and this new Batman knew much of Bane's weaknesses as the old one for he kept going at the tubes at every chance

Bane: Blah! I don't know how you escaped...but I promise this time I will brake your skull!

Batman II: You'll have to catch me first.

This ne Batman seemed less serious than the old one a little humorey but just as well professional as a fighter

He punched his gut countless times just then....a van pulls up and Bane retreated to it

Bane: COME ON! STEP ON IT!

They drove out with Bane yelling out

A TASTE FOR THINGS TO COME WAYNE!

Seems Bane was convinced it was the same Batman it made him smirk about till he noticed Red Hood and Selina with whip approaching

Batman II: Jason...??

(Anime Bad Blood reference)

Red Hood: If that's your best Batman you're not gonna fool anyone....Dick.

Selina looked at him odd cause her and Bane were kinda fooled

Batman II: Maybe you'd like a megaphone to announced that.

Selina: Wait wait wait! Is that really you Dick?

Batman II: Sorry if this is intense for you....the real reason I'm in this....is cause Batman needed to return to keep the criminals out of the way.

Red Hood: And if you mean Bane his lackeys....

Batman II: It's good to see you Jason.

Red Hood: It's good to be home. But let's the reunion parade later. Come on! *Shoots grapple* I got a friend who has information.

As he zooms up Dick turned to Selina as seeing him in that costume made her think wherever her long lost love really he is

Selina: Go ahead...I need to change.

Nodding Dick fired his grapple gun zooming up

Cutting in the batmobile the two OLD friends sat silently as Dick drived then Jason spoke

Red Hood: There's no way you're gonna pull this off without my help.

Batman II: Still moistest as ever I see.

Red Hood: You been in Bludhaven too long. I know my way around this city. Making me more Batman than you. Just fallow my lead.

The beeper went off and Batman turned on the visual screen revealing they're being tallied by a masked woman....

….and it wasn't Catwoman

Batman II: We're being tailed.

The Batmobile lead the masked woman on a motorcycle towards an alleyway

And stopped and all approached one another

Batman II: You been tracking me all night. Why?

Red Hood: Easy bro....this the friend I told you about.

Masked Woman: First I want to know why you're running around Gotham dressed like Batman. I'm guessing Nightwing?

Red Hood: Told you.

Batman II: Shut up. Just tell me who you are and what you know. Red Hood said you had some information.

Masked Woman: Call me....The Huntress. And I was there the night Batman died.

Turns out this "Huntress" was the mystery figure who watched Batman disappear in that explosion and that name....wasn't what he wanted to hear especially at this timeframe because unbeknownst to Jason.....

….Huntress....

….used to be emotionally involved with him.

Yeah.

Dick and Helena used to date after he and Barbra broke up.....but it's obvious as of now that they're no longer together either....for they've been separated for about two years

He slowly inched his head down to the left and almost didn't bother answering her back because he was the one who called it off last time and to be honest with yall she's very difficult to get around

But....here they are

Huntress: Hey Dicky.

Batman II: I'm fine.

Huntress: *Chuckles* No you're not.

Batman II: Oh alright where?

About a few moments later they all were standing on the edge of a rooftop adjacent to the warehouse that was blown to Smithereens two weeks ago. Re-Construction on said building hadn't begun yet.....and is unlikely to begin anytime soon....

….which made this the perfect time to reinvestigate the scene

All the charged and ashy remains of debris were still present

Red Hood: Well...I don't know about this now: But it was definitely here.

Huntress: Last time I checked....Electrocutioner and Firefly dropped by here around the same time it erupted itself to Kingdom Come. But then again the two asshats didn't emerge through the ruble either so maybe I'm over exaggerating.

Red Hood: So....you're telling me you TRULY don't know about this? You don't know who they're working for?

Huntress: I don't.....but I'm getting there. Once I do crack the puzzle I'll be sure to leave you all a note.

Notes weren't gonna be enough for Grayson....at least not at this moment. If they were gonna find him he'd need all the help he could get.

Batman II: Helena....if you're serious about hunting him down....then what's it worth?

He holds out his hand to her.....for the first time in I think forever

Batman II:....it's only fair if we team up.

Too bad she shuts him down.....yet again

Huntress: Just because I'm wearing an outfit similar to yours doesn't mean I'm apart of your little cult of caped crusaders ok? I go my own way Richard. Why else do you think I broke up with you?

Hearing that mentioned suddenly tightened his response as he grabbed Helena tightly by the arm and ripped off the cowl over his head

Dick: Helena....I broke up with YOU.

She pulled her arm away from him

Huntress: As if I could forget.

Having said her price and feeling like she was now wasting her time with them she simply leaps off the edge of the roof and hurdles down into the streets before swinging off on her grappling hook bow the sight of her leaving brought some mild relief to Dick but at the same time any potential info needed on the REAL Dark Knight was taken away at least for now

Red Hood: Wow you really a way with women don't ya Dick?

Before he could answer a loud bewildering voice over his earpiece snaps him either onto or out of focus. Your call.

Dick where the hell are you?!

Dick: ARGH! Oh my--didn't I ask you not to yell at me Babs (Barbara's nickname?)

You really think I wouldn't notice TWO of the suits missing? You really suck at remaining anonymous.....but enough about that. You haven't answered my question.

Back at the Batcave.....

It's only been three hours Babs. I'm just looking into Bruce's disappearance.

There's Barbara Gordon (Hailee Steinfield) in her wheelchair with her eyes glued to the Batcomputer. Apparently she's been doing a little bit more of the work than Dick is.....which is kinda sad.....but expected

Barbara: Why am I always picking up after you Dick?

Uh.....no that's Tim.

Barbara: *Chuckles* Shut up you. What'd you'd find?

Apart from his last location and an "eyewitness" nothing else at the moment.

Barbra: And your ex.....just had a small baby info?

Still spying on my conversations huh?

I'll never forget the last one when I was Robin.

Barbra gasped recognizing that voice

Barbara: Jason? Is that you?

Good to hear your voice too Barb.

Barbra: When did you get back?

Rather talk about it in person.

She cuts the transmission off and makes another

Hey babe. I'm on my way to pick you up for our date tonight.

Barbra: Yeah well.....you have no idea how sorry I am....somethings comes up

What's he got into now?

Barbra: Actually.....he's why our date's pushed back.

Argh....I'm on my way to the Manor.

Cutting back to the batmobile Batman II and Red Hood sat there in silence while driving back to the cave till.....

Red Hood: Do you think he's dead?

Batman II: I don't know.

Red Hood: You'd like that wouldn't you? Think about it if he never came back....then you get to keep that suit.

Just then Batman II stomped on the brake making the Batmobile make a dangerous stop screeching and turn to Red Hood

Batman II: Before you came along I struggled for years to get out of Bruce's shadow. Build a life for myself as far away from his world as possible. And the last thing I want is to be wearing THIS damn thing!

Red Hood: Well I think you're lucky! Cause I too was in his shadow! But I never bailed on him when he needed me unlike you! And I'd rather wear that suit than *Takes off red helmet* Than HAVE THIS DAMN BRAND ON MY FACE!

Dick was stunned to see the brand J mark on his face initiating the name of the clown they all hate

And trust me Dick too had his own grudge against the Joker because he and Barb were still together when he shot her spine that night in her apartment and he just sat there in silence

Jason stared at him not knowing what to say.....

Batman II: Jason....I'm sorry.....

Jason: *Sighs* Yeah me too bro.....and believe it or not.....I really missed you guys....including Alfred.

Batman II: So have we.

Jason: It's been a long night and so far dead ends. Why don't we just go back to the cave.

Dick nodded and they drove back to the Batcave

The next day at Selina's old apartment which was till how Holly's death she stopped by to get her old things since she had her own score to settle with Bane she went through closets and toy chests for her old gear and her eyes....

…..caught sight of a framed picture of her and Holly she picked it up taking time looking at it

See the place had some decoration.

Startled Selina turned and saw....Helena by the door way

Selina: Helena?

Helena: Long time Selina.

Selina: It has....last time I saw you, you swapped crusades in Bludhavin.

Helena: Yeah well....that was for a relationship that didn't last.

Selina: So what are you doing back in Gotham?

Helena: I....had some unfinished business here before I left. Then I heard the big guy went MIA.

Selina: I don't want to believe he died either.....but....I have to look into this....plus I have to find Bane.

Helena: I heard about Holly....I'm sorry.

Selina: Yeah. But it's Bane who should be sorry. He sent those men to kill me last night and Holly got caught in the crossfire. And I want to know why.

Helena: If you're going after Bane you'll need all the help you can get. He's an animal. He's like the Incredible Hulk but....he's more brutal.

Selina: I know that. That's why I'm going to Wayne Manor. I think Alfred and the kids actually know how to find him. Come with me.

Helena: Uh...I don't know if I should. Not with....(Dick there) It's complicated. Just be careful Selina.

Selina: You too.

She walked out Helena looked on at the apartment but Selina heard the elevator down the ding and.....

…..More of Bane's men walked out pulling out their guns to Selina

Selina: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!

Helena rushed out and flipped over kicking the men's guns out of their hands and Selina scratch them with the claws she just picked up
