In June 2019, it was confirmed that Max Thieriot and Olivia Cooke would be reprising their roles as Dylan Massett and Emma Decody respectively. That same month, it was also confirmed that Brooke Smith would be reprising her role as Sheriff Jane Greene from season 5, and that she would be featured as a regular character.
