Banjo/Kazooie is 3D action-adventure platforming video game remake of the 1998 video game Banjo-Kazooie.
Plot[]
The game is set on Spiral Mountain, where there lives a bear named Banjo and his best friend Kazooie, a female red bird that lives in Banjo's bagpack. One day, the witch Gruntilda demands to know who is the fairest one in the land and is horrified when she is not told that she is. The title belongs to Tooty, Banjo's girlfriend. At that moment, Tooty is on her way to Banjo's to go for a picnic date, so Gruntilda or 'Grunty' kidnaps her. Kazooie spies this from a window and wakes up the sleeping Banjo, who sets out to rescue Tooty before she can be turned ugly by Grunty.
After Banjo rescues Tooty, Grunty attacks them on the roof of her lair. The two fight and ultimately, Banjo and Kazooie prevail, causing Grunty to fall to her death. The game ends as Banjo, Kazooie and Tooty enjoying a barbeque.
Sequels[]
The game was followed by Banjo 2: Grunty's Revenge and Banjo/Kazooie: Partners in Time.
