Baby Boo (TV series)

Baby Boo is a 1997 children’s animated television series. It premiered on Null on October 20, 1997 as part of Null’s Special Month event. It also aired on Pull! (another channel owned by the Null company) from 1999 to 2018, when it’s rights to air the show expired. It aired its final episode of the show on March 21, 2008.

Though the show first aired in 1997, it started production in 1995.

About the show

The show is about a grey Baby Boo, her mother, and other Baby Boos (characters). The show takes place in the popular ROBLOX game Adopt and Raise a Cute Baby. The show focuses on problems, such as Baby Boos not wanting another family member/sibling.

The show currently airs on the TV channel Null. It used to air on Pull! until 2015, when Pull! shutdown. Since the show's premiere, it aired on Null at 10:00 AM only until January 29, 2001, when it's timeslot on the channel switched to 9:00 AM daily only. For unknown reasons, the show did not air on the Null Preschool channel. Instead, however, it aired on the Null Preschool block on September 3, 2018 with the 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM timeslots, replacing the 9:00 AM timeslot on the channel.

On June 20, 2020, Null took the show off the Null Preschool block and changed the timeslot to 4:00 AM on Saturdays only, making the show rare for toddlers to see on live TV unless if they are awake at that time.

On August 2, 2020, when Null introduced their September 2020 schedule (days 1-14 only), Baby Boo cannot be found on the upcoming schedule at all.[1] A fan of the show has emailed Null about the show's appearance on the channel. It took 17 days (August 19, 2020) for a response, but it reads: "We will no longer air Baby Boo. This change is permanent. Our final showing of Baby Boo on Null will be on August 29, 2020 at 4:00 AM EST.".

Baby Boo made its final airing on the Null channel on August 29, 2020, at 4:00 AM EST with the episodes from season 2, Baby Boo and Veggies/Baby Boo and Fruit.[2] Due to this, Amazon, the show's official YouTube channel, and other streaming services are the only ways to watch the show in the United States.

On March 26, 2021, it was both announced and confirmed that Null had apparently sold the rights to air episodes of Baby Boo to a currently unknown company.

The first episode of the show, Adopt Me, started production in 1995 though it first aired in 1997. The idea for the show came up in 1993 and Null approved it to become a show on its channel in mid-1995. The creator of the show, Wacko Boo Nam, said that production for each episode takes 9 months (except the Adopt Me episode).

The show was cancelled on March 21, 2008. It ended reruns on Pull! effective in 2015. It also aired for the final time on Null on August 29, 2020.
