Avalon, also known as the Ancient Land or Babylon in Velianurs is a ancient continent located on Earth-Land, and is last existing continents of the Old Continent.
History[]
Avalonian history dates back before the creation of Fiore, making it the oldest continent on Earth-Land. With correspondence with Periods. As of now, there is 5 periods, Mythical, Ancient, First, Second and current Third period.
Mythical Period[]
The period where the "creation of the Ions and the Cions. This period begins with the creation of Caelus. This period is mostly myth, conjuncture and legends. In the cultures of Avalon, each tells the story differently, but most come out with the same results, with most cultures having almost the same deities. Most Avalonian scholars agree time did not start until the birth of Aion, and through Aion created Chaos and then the Ions and the Cions who then created all of space, matter and energy.
Ancient Period[]
This period sets before X0, and its history starts at Z900,000. This is the period where Avalon is being explored and settled by civilizations. The first explores was the Babylonians from the continent of Babylon. The northern coastline (called Albion was document and recorded by the First Fleet by the legendary Babylonian naval captain, James Cook. Who came back with the Second Fleet, and settled in Albion, making it their home. And so they became to be called Albionians and settled throughout the province.
After the Albionians settled, then soon came the Velians who settled on the Velian Isles who then settled through the mainland of Avalon. But when they did, and soon spread.
First Period[]
The First Period starts at X0 when the the Albionians were enslaved by the Velians. The Velians forced the continent worship the Seven Deadly Sins, a pantheon of evil deities bent on tyranny and terror of Humans. The raged for over 200 years until in X200 a man called Arthur stood up against the Velians, and rose against as a powerful advocate. Seeing his determination to rose against their tyranny masters, the Albionians soon rose against them, and was able to take back Albion from the Velians. Due to this, a Albionian then formed a religious pact with the Aelian Deities called the Nine Aelos, who they worshiped as gods of immense power. The Albionians then soon started to liberate Velian tyranny all throughout the continent, which they were able to take back the land to the south called Niflheim and created the United Nations, to which resulted in the legendary Great War between the United Nations faction and the Velians.
The Great War continued for 100 years until Arthur was able to lead the United Nations into liberating the continent, he was able to been given a mystical sword called Excalibur by the chief-deity of the Eight Aelos, and used it to slay down the Velian King, Sombra Erebus, and was proclaimed as the rightful king of Avalon, the start of the Pendragon Dynasty, and the First Kingdom on Avalon. Now free of tyranny. The entire continent is now lead as the Avalon, becoming the early Avalonians on Earth-Land, and the marking of the Second Period.
Second Period[]
The Second Period started at X300 with the rise of the First Kingdom. Due to the effects down by the Velians, the United Nations went on to repair, and restore the continent back to its former self. Using magics now lost in time, they completely terraformed the continent to return the brilliant life and green back. This happened when the Velians took over using Dark Magic and Death Magic. Eventually, the continent became green. However, after finally achieving peace and reconstructing the continent for another 200 years, a terrible event happened that would be called the Darkest hour in Avalon history. A black dragon said to reflect the night sky of Nyx, and bring about the Apocalypse, the black dragon called Anologia came to Avalon into the Albion where King Arthur lies, and shouted at the province, utterly obliterating it, killing thousands upon thousands of Avalonians, including King Arthur, and fled the continent. Due to this, Arthur's Court Wizard, Merlin grabed Excalibur and placed it into the center of Avalon to which was called Camelot, and told all of the Lords of each province to proof they are worthy of leading of the country.
The battle for the Sword and the Throne came to be known as the Holy Wars that started in X410 up to X600 when a man by the name of Arthur Pendragon was able to pull the sword out, and bring back Order to the land. Due to this great act of courage and leadership to bring back the land to peace. At his death in X670, he became a god, worshiped by man as the King of Man and became apart of the Nine Aelos, the first ever human to ascend into Godhood. His cousin, Hashiyaku become the Queen Regnant after Arthur's heirs was assassinated, and this marked the Third Period, starting at X670 and the mark of the Second Kingdom.

Monarch[]
The continent as always been a monarch country controlled by kings and queens regnant. It was ruled by the Velians until the rise of King Arthur who defeated them, and created the First Kingdom.
First Kingdom[]
The First Kingdom was the government that was ruled by the Pendragon Dynasty up to the death of Arthur Pendragon, whose heirs was assassinated. This kingdom was the most famed of them all. Due to the fact the Pendragon Dynasty brought about true peace and harmony throughout the land, safeguarding towns and cities from the threats of monsters and magical creatures such as the Valcun, and bandits, and raiders. They were allow any worship on the continent, to which the main religion was the Aelian Cult, who worshiped the Nine Aelos anywhere on the land. Due to this, the Pendragon Dynasty became most favorable. Until the death of Arthur and the assassinations on his sons, to which his cousin became the Queen Regnant, forming the Second Kingdom.
Second Kingdom[]
The Second Kingdom is the government ruled by the Avalon Dynasty in the Third Period. The Queen Regnant wanted to follow her cousin's footsteps of peace and harmony. Most agreed with her, however, another group hated the idea of women being the leader of the continent, and soon the Avalon Dynasty had one its province, Pangaea rebelling against the Avalon Dynasty and start calling themselves the Quincy Faction, and those who support her. This then caused the Second Great War. What makes things worst, the continent had Magic since the Second Period, and due to that, the magic guilds in Pangea is also against Hashiyaku. Due to this, she created the High Council that deals with magic problems, and magical guilds to stop rebelling. In X710, the Quincy Faction was then restrained by the High Council's sup-faction called the Templar Knights, a faction that uses Magic, and soon the Quincy went off the continent and into Fiore. Where the United States Navy had readied a expedition to the mysterious continent their enemy as founded, and set sail for it in X730

Magic is the main form of combat used by mages, and is bought throughout the world. Shunned during the First and early Second Periods, magic soon was adopted into society and culture after the Dark Hour of the destruction of Albion in X400. Magic then became every day product which lead to formed magic guilds, and due to the Second Great War, Hashiyaku issued the creation of the High Council to handle the magical world, and eventually, peace returned after the United Nations defeated the Quincy Faction who sailed for the magical kingdom of Fiore.
