Arise My Sons is the third album by Australian doom metal band Winter's Soil, released on October 13 2001. It followed 1999's To Seek Death and was followed by 2002's Children of the Night.

Style

While Las Canciones De Dolor and To Seek Death were death/doom and featured mostly mournful lyrics, the band took a turn of style and lyrical content with their third album. Arise My Sons features common death metal elements; growled vocals, double kick drumming (albeit slowed down) and violent lyrics. Nick Hale has called Arise My Sons a slowed down death metal album, and he along with the rest of the band have expressed disappointment with the record.
