The United Republic of Albion is a republic in the southwest corner of Aquilonis, and the sole republic in southern Aquilonis. It borders Narnia, Telmar and Blin to the north, and Termina to the east. Once a domain of the Britannian Empire, after the Albion War for Independence it became the first, and so far only, country to successfully rise up and win independence from Britannia, with some help from the kingdoms Narnia and Telmar. While still hostile with Britannia, it enjoys full diplomatic and commerce relations with Narnia and Telmar.

The former Kō Empire
The Kō Empire was once one of the twin Sino Empires. Once the dominant nation in the southern West Auqilonis Sea, it lost it's sovereignty to the northern Sengoku Empire in the aftermath of the Hyakunen War, it's last emperor having been killed in battle and leaving no known heir to the throne. There have been several attempts to reinstate the empire following its fall, but none have succeeded. Kō has since fallen into the pages of history, and the former loyalists have since given up. Nevertheless, it made it's martk on Patrian history, and it's former flag still hangs on display in the former Kō Imperial Palace.
Solana Federation
Former Solana
The Solana Federation was a large union of federated states before falling apart as a result of the Solana Revolutionary War. It's collapse began with the State of Marcadia's Declaration of Independence, establishing itself as it's own country in a swift military coup d'état the Solanian government was powerless to stop. Still, the idea of independence didn't end with Marcadia's success, and the notion soon spread to the mainland, and the overthrow of governments all over the federation triggered the Solana Revolutionary War, which ended with the Solana Peace Accords a full decade later. After the war, the Solana Federation was replaced by the Republic of Solana as the Solanian State, several states merged with Umbris during the war to form the Confederacy of Umbris, while others went their separate ways as independent states, a few of which formed economic or military alliances.
