American Caracal

The American caracal is a subspecies of caracal that lives in grasslands, forests, swamps, savannahs, scrublands, and deserts. They are carnivores that feed on small birds, eggs, small lizards, and smaller mammals. They resemble the African caracal, its closest living relative.
