Alek 'Phantasm' Tench[]
Alek 'Phantasm' Tench was a stealth covert operative for the Spectre Squadron, turned rogue warrior post SS genocide. Resurrected as a cybernetic being in 2074, he carried out stealth missions with Division III, acting as a main force of Division III and establishing a high rank in the SS.
Alek Tench was originally from the early 2000s, working and training as a militant. He was sent into the Iraq Invasion, but was taken as hostage and executed during a failed escape attempt. Alek was then resurrected as a cybernetic being by the Higher Powers, 4 unknown and mysterious beings said to watch over reality. Unable to age and stuck at the young age of 20, he became a nomad, living in camps throughout the land, and even sometimes stationing in old, abandoned buildings.
Alek was found by the Spectre Squadron in 2077 during a gunfight for territory and supplies. He was held captive by the enemy forces prior to the gunfight for 1 year, to which the SS eliminated during this fight and took Alek under their wing for information on the enemy. Alek gave as much as he could to the SS, in which they corresponded by giving him refuge and training access. Alek showed unremarkable skill in fist fighting and combat on the training ground, so much as to catching the eye of the SS Elder, Spectre. Spectre congratulated Alek for his relentless skill and dedication to combat on the field. It was here that Alek was sent on his first stealth mission, alone. His mission was to steal some secret documents held captive by the enemy forces from the gunfight. These forces would go to be known as The Construct in later years. Alek successfully stole the documents with nothing but takedowns with a combat knife, given to him by the SS Elder. Returning to HQ, Alek was appointed a free fighter rank in the SS, giving him the ability to do as he pleased without hesitation, only restriction being not to cause liability to the SS. From here on out, Alek was renamed to Phantasm-07, often called the Silencer by his squad mates. In 2079, the SS broke apart due to The Construct, and their heavy tanks equipped with deadly EMPs. The Construct took over the SS HQ, and executed the Elder. Phantasm-07 and a few other SS operatives were able to escape the clutches of The Construct, but all living operatives would hold on to the vengeance for what The Construct did. All operatives regrouped and decided to part ways, for their own safety and to let go of the SS once and for all. They all prayed allegiance to the Elder one last time at the Statue of Sorrows, before parting ways forever. In late 2080, Phantasm heads to Edge City seeking opportunity. It is unknown what he is up to nowadays, but sights and surveillance revere him as an expert stealth warrior and excelling traceur. Though this is nearly the beginning of Alek’s story, lots has happened in such short time. We will see what Alek does next.
