Albion is a powerful city-state located in Vale, and is renowned for producing one of the most trained, and best warriors in Remnant's history. Albion plays a major role in ALBN for being Albion's home. According to Albion mythology, it one of the oldest independent nations, pre-dating even the four kingdoms.
Been existing since ancient times, long before the four kingdoms, Albion is famous for not their long continious existene, but for producing warriors of extraordinary strength and enduring will to fight regardless the odds. They are the combination of all of humanity's will to survive to the extent they allows some spartans to join the Great War.
After the end of the war, Albion had a immense change in traditions set by Ascalon, with the Agoge having a major rehualed, and change in social status between the hoplites and the spartans. Spartans are then chosen to combat specifically the grimm head on, while hoplite soliders are more on that of policemen, fighting against other human and faunus. The agoge also changed in how they had trained their children, not having to place them on a cliffside due to some weakness. But, are given a chance to prove themselves. However, they can still die during the second stage at age 10, where they are placed in a location with limited supplies and survive for a year.
After humans descovered dust, a group of ancient humans began to settle in the continent of Sanus, where they were able to refine dust, and made their civilisation. Over time, this small group of humans were was able to combat against the grimm and eventually called it it Albion.
In Albion mythology, a man called Ascalon was born, and he saw fit to structure Sparta to combat the grimm. He formed most of the society and began the training regiment of the Agoge and the legisture, the Gerousia. Ascalon was highly famed for his unnaturally high talent in combat, warefare, esponage, tachics and strategy.
When he formed the Agoge, it was of extreme harsh, mores so then it is currently. He had said for a child to grow strong is to endure the hardships, much like today. However, if a child fails the inspections at birth, the newborn is left on a cold moutain for seven days, if the child survive, he pass. However, the child fails if he/she dies from either eninenvironmental conditions, or from the Grimm.

After the Great War, so many Albion traditions changed, especially the Agoge, where they wont place the newborn on a mountain side, but still train them to be spartans if they can pass the training regiment. If they fail, they will become a hoplite, which are basically policemen of sorts, and defend and fight other humans. But they do have the capacity to fight Grimm if their numbers overpowers one (for comparion, 5 hoplite to one beowolf).

- Albion is the only ancient nation left standing from the various conflicts of the mythological and ancient histories of Remnant.
- Albion is based after ancient Sparta (Doric Greek: Σπάρτα, Spártā; Attic Greek: Σπάρτη, Spártē) was a prominent city-state in ancient Greece. In antiquity the city-state was known as Lacedaemon (Λακεδαίμων, Lakedaímōn), while the name Sparta referred to its main settlement on the banks of the Eurotas River in Laconia, in south-eastern Peloponnese. Around 650 BC, it rose to become the dominant military land-power in ancient Greece.
