The African brown bear is a species of brown bear that lives in Africa. It is the second largest brown bear species, after a Kodiac bear. It is almost more powerful than a lion. They are also rivals to lions. Its prey includes zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest, but also feeds on fruit. It is an omnivore. It lives on the savannahs of Africa. Unlike most other brown bear species, the African brown bears don't hibernate.
