1 "Kushi Mimirai, The Next Aeon Master"

Kushi Mimira (17), is the son of Panthonerian Duke and a member of the Aeon Council; Akioo Mimirai. After being invited to join his father at the Aeon Council, it is revealed that Kushi will be the next Aeon Master and carrier of the Legendary Sword, Aeon; A weapon created by the Legendary Archamge Merlarthur, passed onto a new sword carrier every generation. Kushi starts feeling uneasy and the pressure of all the council members makes him leave the Council Room and run away, he is seen and stopped by his mentor figure and the former (22nd) Aeon Master, Mr. Ayamitsu. Ayamitsu asks Kushi what has him worried and to join him for tea to talk about it.

Inside Mr. Ayamitsu's house, Kushi explains to his mentor that he has been chosen to be the 24th Aeon Master and that the pressure made him run away. Ayamitsu understands Kushi's feeling and that it is not easy to accept the fact that you now have the whole Panthonerian Region on your shoulders. Ayamitsu reassures Kushi, by telling him that he believes he will become a great Aeon Master, as his young mind still has time to grow and become a fine hero of Lefarrigan. Kushi thanks his mentor, but before he leaves Ayamitsu gives him his personal magical dagger made of Holy Steel, the strongest metal known to man. Kushi thanks his mentor yet again and goes back to the Aeon Council, asking for forgiveness on his rude behaviour. The council confused, accept Kushi's apology and prepare the Aeon Ceremony.

A hour later, in front of a crowd of people, Kushi Mimira is officially titled the 24th Aeon Master and the current carrier of the Legendary Sword Aeon. The future looks bright, but several thunder clouds can be seen in the distance as the episode ends.

2 "God of Thunder, Rotohiro Kazuken Strikes!"

Several hours after the 24th Aeon Master Ceremony, several thunder clouds are approaching the capital of Lefarrigan. We are introduced to several shadowy figures, one of the shadowy figures tells the seated figure, calling him Rotohiro-sama that they are almost at Lefarrigan, their former kingdom. As Rotohiro responds to the shadowy figure, it is revealed their name is Stix Thanades. Rotohiro smirks, proceeding to laugh menacingly.

We return back to Lefarrigan, where Kushi is hanging out with one of his childhood friends Akaira Asaka; a Witch Apprentice. Who congratulates Kushi for becoming the next Aeon Master, asking him if he could show him the Aeon. Kushi takes out Aeon from the wardrobe, Akaira amazed by seeing it in-person tells Kushi that he always wanted to meet an Aeon Master. Kushi tells him "What about Mr. Ayamitsu", Akaira tells him that he wanted to meet a current Aeon Master, not a former one. As they talk more and more, an earthquake arrives and the two go outside to see thunder clouds over the capital. While joining in the crowd they see Rotohiro coming down with his flying throne. Everyone starts running away after Rotohiro throws several thunder bolts at the ground.

Akaira tells Kushi that this will be a good chance to prove himself as an Aeon Master, but Kushi has his doubts as he hasn't mastered any Aeon Techniques yet. Akaira tells him that she believes in him, because an Aeon Master is supposed to be undefeated. Kushi runs towards Rotohiro to strike him with the Aeon, but is stopped by one of his Royal Guards, Kinokage Pestan. Kinokage looks down upon Kushi, telling him that he is several decades too early to fight the Royal Guards and Rotohiro-sama. Kushi ignores his warning, but is overpowered by Kinokage. The episode ends with Kinokage about to kill Kushi, but is knocked back by a powerful arcane blast.

3 "A Formidable Foe, Lefarrigan's Last Line of Defense"

The episode starts where the last one left off with Kinokage Pestan being knocked back by a powerful arcane blast. The blast came from Akaira's Older Brother, a Wizard and a member of the Lefarrigan Elite Guard, Sodaheishi Asaka. Kushi thanks Sodaheishi who tells Kushi that it is his duty to protect the Aeon Master. Kinokage gets back up and starts fighting Kushi and Sodaheishi, Kushi is able to defend himself well this time but Sodaheshi is damaaged by Kinokage's Axe Swing. Kushi quickly runs towards the now injured Sodaheishi, but he tells Kushi to stand back and unleashes another arcane blast at Kinokage. Kinokage dodges the blast, but it creates an opening for the other Elite Guard members to strike. Kushi asks Sodaheishi if this was all part of the plan, with him stating that being injured wasn't a part of it, and laughs it off. One of the royal guards and healer, Kameshi Tensa tends to Sodaheshi's wounds while the other royal guards are fighting Kinokage.

Rotohiro notices Kinokage is being outnumbered and orders one of his Royal Guards, Ares Hachiman to assist Kinokage. Before the Royal Guards could deal a finishing blow to Kinokage, the ground erupts from Ares' ability Ground Break and knocks the Elite Guards away from Kinokage. Kinokage smirks asking Ares what took Rotohiro so long to decide on sending some reinforcements. Ares tells Kinokage that he will take the Elite Guards all by himself. Sodaheshi notices Ares' blood lust and tells Kushi to run away from here, that it could get ugly. Kushi does so and the Elite Guard prepare for their final stand, they are Lefarrigan's Last Line of Defense.
