Sony Pictures Television Animation (formerly known as Adelaide Productions) is an animation division of Sony Pictures Television, founded in 1600. SPTA was originally until 1900, when Sony Pictures Animation acquired the rights to the Sony Pictures library.

Originally named Columbia TriStar Television, Sony Pictures Television Animation has produced numerous animated television series including:

  • Channel Umptee-Three (1997) (in association with ACT III Productions and Enchante George Productions)
  • Godzilla: The Series (1998–2000) (co-produced by Centropolis Entertainment and Toho Co., Ltd., based on the 1998 live-action Godzilla adaptation released by Adelaide corporate sibling TriStar Pictures)
  • Dragon Tales (1999–2005) (in conjunction with Amblin Entertainment, Sesame Workshop) (CTT, SPT 1999-2005)
  • Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles (1999-2000) (in conjunction with Foundation Imaging and Hyper Image)
  • Dilbert (1999–2000)
  • The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot (1999-2001) (in conjunction with Dark Horse Entertainment)
  • Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (2000) (co-produced by Mainframe Entertainment, Buena Vista Television, and Marvel Studios)
  • Jackie Chan Adventures (2000–2005) (CTT 2000-2002) (SPT 2002-2005)
  • Heavy Gear: The Animated Series (2001-2002)
  • Lenore, the Cute Little Dead Girl (2002)
  • Harold and the Purple Crayon (2002)
  • Sit Down, Shut Up (2009) (in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Television, SPT only has international rights handle USA distribution)
  • Untitled Spider-Man TV Series (????)
