A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas is a 2011 American stoner film, the third film in the Harold and Kumar series. The film is written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg and directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson.

The story continues where Escape From Guantanamo Bay left off with Neil Patrick Harris surviving his gunshot wounds and Kumar happily wed to Vanessa. As well as Harold happily weds to Maria.

The twosome and Harold and Maria prepare for a Christmas dinner as a foursome and instead end up in a series of comical adventures which could put a damper on their relationships and land them all in Jail.

John Cho and Kal Penn reprise their roles as Harold Lee and Kumar Patel and Daneel Harris and Paula Garces reprise their roles as Vanessa Fanning and Maria.

The film also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Eric Winter, Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, Danny Trejo, Patton Oswalt, Elias Koteas, Thomas Lennon, Jordan Hinson, David Burtka, Melissa Ordway, Richard Riehle and Bobby Lee.

Summary[]

Harold and Kumar prepare for a double-date Christmas with Maria and Vanessa but wind up in trouble as Vanessa's ex-fiance Colton returns and frames Harold and Kumar for possession of Narcrotics, Marijuana, Ecstasy, Ice, PcP, Speed, a special unnamed drug not even approved by the FDA and every other drug in the book.

Their wives are forced along for the ride and they end up seeking help from some old and new friends.

As they begin their getaway Christmas Road Trip, Goldstein and Roseberg attempt to reveal the dirt on Colton, Neil Patrick Harris gives them a joy ride on a stolen Hippie Bus and they meet a third nippled deviant female youth named Gracie who, along with her best friend Mary, join the ride.
